I leased a volvo in April and the processing for the title was not completed. I was unaware of this until I just moved to ******* and found out because they need the original title for me to register the car here. I have called Volvo financial who says they are waiting for the title process to be completed and once it is they can overnight it over to *******. I have only 30 days to register my car here. No one in the dealership knows what happened is what they say, and they haven't gotten in touch with the proper people and have not resolved the issue. I am going to incur major issues and consequences because of this, and I am unable to resolve this on my own. They have not finished the processing which needs to be done immediately.Business response

We're doing everything that is in our hands to assist the process and expedite it. The title was finalized with the state of Florida on 9/4/2024. Volvo states they did not received the electronic title until 9/12/2024. Volvo will now request paper title and send it to Alabama DMV. I bought a Jeep one year ago and I went there to get my repair records and they refused to give me a copy. They said that they don't have them because of the new ownership. I went there to get the engine repaired and other things but they didn't even report it. I can't find them in Carfax either. As a consumer, I have the right to have a copy of the maintenance done by ****. I will escalate this if it's necessary.Business response

To the BBB. Our Pre-Owned Vehicles Director *********************** spoke to the customer. He purchased this vehicle December 2021 at ******** CDJR, he went to ************ a couple of times to perform oil changes. After Bomnin Automotive acquired ************, he visited ** and asked for the service records that we had. We can gather all records we have available as long as the customer comes in with his drivers license and registration of the vehicle. ***** is reaching our to the customer to explain what we need from him. I purchased my 2019 XC60 certified preowned in March of 2022. Right after I purchased the car I discovered an ** issue with the car where the driver's side blew warm and the passenger side blew a bit cooler. The car has been at service probably 10 times for the same problem. They have allegeigly replaced multiple parts but the problem persists. This business has no idea what they are doing and had sold me a defective car as they believe the ** is working as designed. An ** blowing warm on one side and cool on the other when set to 70 degrees is not working as normal. This business is run my incompetent people from top to bottom and knowingly sold me a car with existing ** problems. When asked to buy back my defective car for what I paid they offered about $8k less than market value for a trade.Business response

Multiple attempts have been made by our team, including involving Volvo field ingeneers who came and inspected the car and authorized to replace the entire A/C box to satisfy the case, but they state that this is the way the car is designed and nothing else couldve been done. At this point, all resources have been exhausted to find a solution to the customer desire. My Volvo XC90 hybrid($72K) lease agreement was done on January 17, 2023 since then(today is March8, 2023) the car has been in service 4 times for a check engine light. This is the story that continues to get worse each time 1. First time in service- not understable as the car was less than a month old. 2, Second time-same check engine light- loan provided had NO third row and I drive a car with third row because I need one. When I picked my car up, I was told they could not wash it because the hose was not working 3. Third Time- the very next day in the morning, the car's check engine light went on again. I was told they were going to drive it "a bit more" in order to make sure. The service manager drove it to their home overnight and left it unlocked. They live approximately 20 miles if not more away from where the service location is. (i have pictures of all of this).4. fourth time-I have had the car for less than 1 week and the service engine light is back on This check engine light now worries me for the safety of my family. How can this car that was leased at a price of $72K give problems when I have only had it for a month and a half. I think that volvo in order to do right by their client, should allow me to get out of my lease and walk away with my deposit.Business response

Our Service Director *************************** personally delivered a loaner to the customer house and picked up the car and we will be working with Volvo to see the issue with the engine light. We have been following Volvos diagnosis on this unit and unfortunately the check engine light keeps coming back. We have opened a technical case with Volvo for further diagnosis.
Our Sales Manager *************************** was in touch with the customer to evaluate the possibility to trade the customer out of this vehicle. He spoke with ******* and her husband yesterday 3/8. They both understand we will do whatever it takes to get them into either another New 2023 XC90 T8 Hybrid or non Hybrid within a couple days!

I will note that if this resolution is not solved by next week, I would like to consider termination of my lease agreement with refund of my cash down so that I have the option to search for another car.

I purchased a brand new 2022 Volvo XC60 February 2022 from Bomnin Volvo. At the time of purchase I was promised by the dealership I would receive a loaner when my car was going in for service. Unfortunately my BRAND NEW car, has left me stranded twice and needed service a total of 4 times due to multiple issues. Two of these times service was performed at Bomnin where to my surprise loaners are not available. I am offered a one-way shuttle to a nearby location when I live in downtown ***** which does not fall into the shuttle radius. I am told there is nothing they can do. Volvo of *********** pays for a Lyft to the destination of my choice and back to the dealership once the car is ready. This has required me to spend additional money on ordering my own Ubers because I can not continue missing work because a brand new 2022 Volvo has had so many issues. This last time, I had to leave the car overnight and now I am left car-less and left paying my Uber to and from the dealership all because I was lied to at the time of purchasing this vehicle as there are NEVER loaners available. This dealership knows about the issues the 2022 Volvos due to the new ****** operating system instead of the previous Apple operating system. This car is UNSAFE, it once even shut off while driving on the express lane on I-95 almost causing an accident as cars zoomed by. This car is unreliable and there is always a new problem with the vehicle. I did not purchase a new vehicle in order to make frequent visits to a service center that does not meet the expectations of what I was sold on. If I had been told the truth from the beginning, that loaners are NOT available, I would have purchased another brand. The inconveniences both this Volvo and Bomnin have caused me are affecting my work and are a safety concern to me. I need Bomnin to take responsibility for the faulty vehicle they sold to me as I do not want this vehicle any longer. Bomnin should be held responsible for false advertising.Business response

Our Service Director *************************** spoke to customer and apologized for the experience he had. He reassured him that he can have a loaner every time his vehicle is in the shop with no appointment needed.
In regards to the car issues he expressed that vehicle had different issues with software and battery failure and recently a coolant low message coming on which are now addressed and vehicle will be delivering to him today. We also offered customer for the Uber transportation reimbursement which he was very satisfy.
Case resolution as follow.
- Customer reimbursement for transportation.
- Vehicle issues will be evaluated and open a case with Volvo.

Purchased new 2022 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 on 1/14/2023. Dealership still has not processed my paperwork or sent registration papers to the ******* DMV. I am now past my 30 day registration window. I have an expired temporary Plate that has expired. I've called and emailed the Salesman ********************* with no response. Transfer plate JQJ F96 have been Title, registration, and license fees have been charged $109.10 please assist with a resolving this.Business response

To the BBB, the title and registration on the 2022 Silverado were processed on 2/11/2023. Registration was mailed out on 2/13/2023. The state approved this deal today, 2/16/2023. Hi, ordered a 2023 Corvette, a high demand vehicle appr 1yr ago from Bomnin Dadeland, salesman *******. It arrived appr Jan 5, 2023 (I was advised by Chevrolet factory). ******* didnt ************* for 7 more days. Never did provide me w/ detailed invoice.I arrived from ******** on 1/12/23. Car was not detailed nor PDI, they did not know my wire transfer was received on 1/11.Waited appr 4hrs for them to ready ******************** ******* taking dozens of phone calls the whole time.The following were billed to me without my authorization or knowledge:1. $999 doc fee2. ************** $409.50 3. Electronic filing fee $399 4. On star subscription $169 5. I am rejecting this response because:They showed me image of check for $250 that is being mailed 4-5 weeks late! That money was due to me bc SOME DMV charges that is my credit showed in their system for previous transaction, nothing to do w/ Bomnin.
It doesnt address the overcharges as outlined in my complaint.
onStar, wheel locks, excessive dealer & DMV fees, etc
AND an apology is due for making me wait 4hrs!

On November 15th 2022 Volvo XC60 towed to dealership. The dealership fixed the problem which was a faulty antenna that drained both car batteries. Subsequently case is opened with Volvo Cars *** case ID ************ over safety concerns related to this issue. After speaking with Volvo Cars *** I received a text message from the service advisor at Bomini Volvo indicating that Bomnin Volvo and Volvo *** would pay me $1000 as compensation for the issue I had with the vehicle. On November 28th, 2022 I followed-up on payment with the service advisor who indicated he would advise when the check was ready. On December 16th the service advisor texts that the service manager was checking with Volvo Cars *** on the check. On December 24th I reinitiate a thread of emails with Volvo Cars *** which reveals that Bomnin Volvo Dadeland did not require any further contact with Volvo Cars *** to process the check. On January 3rd, 2023 the services manager confirms he has requested the check. On January 5th the service manager confirms the check is processed but not signed. On January 9th the service manager confirms the check is signed but has not been delevered to him. On January 11th a course reversal the service manager indicates the check is not signed.Initial Complaint

1. Date of transcation: October 2022 2. Amount of money: 1000$ down payment 3. What was the business commited to provide you: - 2022 Demo/Loander Volvo XC90 in December with less than **** Miles. They knew at the sale date, that the car would not be available in December due to dates set by Volvo -> dishonest business. - Additionally they kept advertising the car (same VIN number) with changing discounts assumingly to lure in other customer and make down payments. - Also didn't want to apply ****** discount as it supposedly didn't work for 2022 Demos/Loaners. This is not in accordance with the ****** T&Cs (https://******************/save/brand.aspx?makeId=40).- When complaining, we got promised a member of the management team would get in contact with us, but that never happened. - Dealer mentioned that they can also not release the car as it doesn't have enough miles, yet. It was only mentioned that the car would have up to **** Miles - a minimum miles requirement was never mentioned. Nature of dispute: Dishonest car selling practices. Get the dealer to honor their promises and warn other about this dealership.6. Did the dealer ever reach out to make it right: No 7. We purchased a vehicle from the dealership on 3/23/2021 and have not yet received the title so we can register it in our state (********). We have been told that the problem was with the State of ******** and their delays. We contacted the Secretary of State for ******** today and were told no information has been sent to them. The dealership uses ***** **** *** to facilitate the title process, however there is no way to contact ***** beyond emails and we have received very little information from them. Ultimately the buck should stop with the dealership and they have been extremely unhelpful.Business response

Ms. ****** purchased the vehicle from us on 2/16/22, not 2021 as indicated in the complaint. There are always unavoidable delays when registering and tilting a vehicle out of state. We sent all the paperwork to our out of state agency, *****, and they have been working with the ******** DMV (see attached) to get this finalized. The ******** DMV rejected our attempt to register this unit (letter dated 4/8/22 attached) and we will try to register the unit again immediately. It is obvious the State of ******** received our paperwork on or before 4/8/2022 because their rejection letter was dated to us 4/8/2022.
