December 2020. Paid the business $18,000. I purchased a vehicle here and was never told or disclosed that the vehicle has had structural damage. I went to get an appraisal and was told the vehicle was worth only $200 since they saw there was structural damage. The vehicle is now worth $22k-$24k due to the current market value and I wanted to trade it in for that amount or get a check for that amount, when I went back to the dealership they said no and they would give me $17,000 as a trade and that my vehicle was worth no more than that. I saw several reviews later on about this business that many people has had this issue before and it is sad that this business is still operating without disclosing accidents or damages worth more than $600. The managers Bennie and Vincent were really rude and not helpful with my issue. Such a corrupt business trying to make money of people without making them aware of the cars issues, it's a scam! I am reaching out to an Attorney general for this issue. I was never told about the vehicle issue.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/03/31) */ Good afternoon Mr******, regarding your issue with you not being aware of the vehicle having structural damage we have your signature on the autocheck report which clearly states that the vehicle you purchased had structural damage. when it comes to determining the value of a trade-in every dealership has their own standards and measurements when considering a vehicle's value. the sales price for your Kia Sorento was $15498 when you came in for an appraisal we gave you $17000 which is an outlier considering most car value's are less than the price they were sold for especially after it being over a year and several thousand miles later since the car was sold. I'm not sure where or how you determined the market value for your Kia but I can assure our number of $17000 was more than fair and I'm sorry that us giving you $1500 over the sale's price didn't suffice. Thank you for your time and consideration. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/04/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Please attach to this email the signature that you have from me from autocheck. I was only shown a ****** and not autocheck. I should've received a copy of that paper if it exist since it does have my signature and would need a copy for my records. Regarding your information on the price for the vehicle now it has increased not sure if you have kept up with market trends. Try to look up a 2020 Kia Sorrento with 48,xxx and see for yourself the price of the vehicle. Unfortunately due to the vehicle having structure damage which again was never told or was made aware of, it's worth little At $1000. Thank you. Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2022/04/13) */ Customer purchased the Kia Dec 14, 2020 and due to or policy we are not able to take the car back, but we can take it in on trade anywhere from 14k-15k. Consumer Response /* (4200, 14, 2022/04/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I will again request the signed document of the auto check you are claiming stated the damage. As you stated " we have your signature on the autocheck report which clearly states that the vehicle you purchased had structural damage.". I have no recollection of anyone at the dealership showing me a auto check with that information on it.

I purchased a 2018 ********* ****** on 1/29/22. Within the 1st week the check engine light came on but went off the next day. 2/23 the check engine light came back on and didn't go off. The car felt like it was having difficulty driving, going extremely slower than the miles per hour presented and the car was jerking hardly when put in reverse. I called my warranty 2/25 and was told, take it to a ********* dealership to perform a diagnostic test. earliest appointment was 2/28. Dropped my car off 2/28. The next day I was told it appears to be a transmission issue and they couldn't perform a diagnostic until 3/2. Test confirmed transmission and some codes issues. They submitted a claim to my warranty company. I called HGreg 2/28 to advise about the check engine light. Eventually after several attempts for a manager a service agent called 3/1 saying it's great I was getting it fixed. I requested they replace it for another car because transmission issues within 30 days of my purchase is unacceptable. Sales manager George called and rudely said he couldn't help me and hung up.

Business Response /* (1000, 15, 2022/04/14) */ Customer and HGreg.com have been in communication and resolutions have been made as of March 10th. Please email me at *************** if you have any remaining questions or concerns with the purchase of your vehicle. Customer mentioned they would be contacting BBB to close this case. Thank you for your time. Consumer Response /* (3000, 22, 2022/05/05) */ The conversations we had to placed in my original compliant and there hasn't any communication since I was hung up on and then not providing a resolution. They didn't address what was in my complaint filed with BBB. I would never purchase from them ever again and I definitely would never recommend and would strongly oppose anyone who's United in making a purchase from them. The problem has not been resolved!
