I had bad experience and i was very disappointed with Midas in Lynn way Massachusetts, maybe i need to get in touch with my lawyer. I supposed to had oil changed or full-service synthetic, actually the engine light shows up and i cannot speed up, it seems like they break my car.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Midas. On January 30, I went in to get brake repairs done. I dropped off my car, and the team seemed to review everything thoroughly. They contacted me promptly once the repairs were completed, and I picked up my car the same day.The next day, I used my car to run a few errands. As I was driving in midtown ., my brakes completely failed, and I nearly crashed. Fortunately, I was close to home and was able to get back safely. Upon inspecting the vehicle, I discovered brake fluid leaking from the car.I immediately contacted the store manager, who claimed that this wasnt Midass fault and that it couldve happened at any point, despite the fact that the brake fluid was leaking and my brakes had failed right after the repair. They repaired the car and i requested they refund some of the services due to it being done incorrectly. They stated there was nothing they could do, so I escalated the issue to the district manager ****. However, he was equally unhelpful, telling me that Midas doesnt offer refunds for services, even when the initial repair seemed to have been done incorrectly.Overall, Im very dissatisfied with the service I received, and I wont be returning. The lack of accountability and refusal to make things right left me with no confidence in their service. I would rate this experience a zero if I could.

I can't give any stars, but they made me put at least one. I dropped my truck off at the *********** **** location on a Friday morning. I had called them Wednesday on my way into town when I noticed a breaking issue with my truck. They reassured me that they could assess the situation and more than likely get me back on the road by Sunday. I had told them it's more than likely my hydroboost or it could be my master cylinder. As I was getting back pressure on my pedal and it was feeling spongy. I know they had already been properly bled. After several phone calls to them trying to find out the status of my truck and, them having my truck for 30 hours. They couldn't even tell me what the problem was at that point. I had driven by on Friday night and my truck was in the garage with the hood up. Horrible customer **********************, and I'm starting to question the knowledge of this shop. I pretty much had told them what the problem was. They could have called me and said they would put a new hydroboost and master cylinder on it for less than $500 in Parts Plus labor and I would have told them to do it. Luckily I drove 600 miles back home and didn't kill myself or anyone else. I will never go to Midas for anything ever again.

Staff was fired during repair process and mistakes were made by new hires who could not properly complete the job even after showing the mistake and how to fix it. After replacing the steering box, it was never centered properly and then it was aligned with the center link out of place. Simple rooky mistakes that the manager could not figure out. Car still needs alignment.

Had two tires replaced on my car in October 2023 and now here it is registration sticker time end of August 2024 and Im told tires are balding on inside due to no alignment. District manager or whatever he is says customer needs to request this Im not a mechanic but yet from an understanding from a mechanic that cares tells me an alignment should be done when brakes or tires are done. Then to top it off after tire ****up my steering shakes, which Midas people go and say, sorry about that let us fix that. And my receipts during all this madness state the same amount of mileage??? How do you know if I used 30k mileage in just six months. Is there a way to get Refund for this horrible experience?

Midas did on oil change on my vehicle. The oil plug was not tightened to spec. The oil plug fell out and my motor blew up. Now midas is refusing to take responsibility for the damage

Midas in ******* charged me over a 1000 bucks to replace a misfiring spark plug but clearly did not do anything. Under the hood no dirt dust or debris was moved and it's the only way to access the back 3 plugs. My vehicle keeps dying do to the cylinder misfiring that they were supposed to replace. What I think happened was nobody wanted to work on it because the back 3 plugs are a pain to get to.I'm so mad and I'm sick of unsavory auto places.

I got new tires 5/23, got them rotated regularly. Midas said I need new tires 9/23. I have warranty but they would not replace them. They said since my Control Arms need replaced, is why my tires went bad quickly. I explained to Midas, they should have communicated the issue to me at an earlier date so it would not persist . On 9/23 was told I need to replace the Serpentine Belt. Even though on 6/23 it was replaced. On 1/23 replaced the Catalytic Converter. On 10/23 I was having the same issue I had when my Catalytic Converter went bad, the vehicle was shaking, and my check engine light was on. They tried to charge me to replace the Converter, I explained, I already replaced it with Midas in January. Midas said I received a part that was not compatible with my vehicle. I explained it is not my fault, I paid for the part and labor already. They did replace the part, to my acknowledge, at no cost. When I retrieved the vehicle, the check engine light was still on and it was shaking when I drove it. They said I need to replace the oxygen sensor and the shaking is due to the control arms that need to be replaced. I took the vehicle to a different auto shop to get a second opinion. They said when you replace the Converter they are also suppose to replace the sensor, if you do not then the Converter can go bad. I called Midas customer **********************, they directed me to management. Management explained it would be an additional charge to replace the Oxygen Sensor. I explained to him I wanted my new tires at no cost since they were under warranty. He replied, since my controls arms need to be replaced the tires went bad, so it does not fall under warranty. He also would not replace the Oxygen Sensor at no cost since it is another mechanical issue. I tried to explain to him it was an incomplete maintenance repair and he should honor to replace the sensor at no cost, but he would not comply. He tried to give me free tires only if I would pay to get my control arms fixed with Midas

I brought my vehicle to Midas at Burlington MA location for exhaust hanger bracket repair. Instead of welding a new bracket, they decided to weld a bolt on the one side and the old rusted broken piece on the other side. I wasn’t aware of this until I took the vehicle to Volvo for check engine light that came right after exhaust work at Midas. I was told by Volvo that electrical problems caused by improper welding in the exhaust area. Volvo said this exhaust repair is not acceptable nor safe
