11/03/2023 I had some people show up in my yard and just start digging and photographing stuff. I asked them what they were doing and they rudely replied that my house is getting demolished. They trespassed in my neighbors yard to survey the land I was on. When my neighbor told them to get off his property they started talking trash to him and me. There was pretty intense verbal argument, to which they would not leave my property. My neighbor called the Orange County sheriff. The 2 people working for this company ran away before the sheriff arrived. This company harassed me and my neighbor, and made fun of my house being demolished. They thought it was funny. The sheriff came by and I talked to him but since they already left I could not trespass anyone

    Re: Complaint ID ********

    Dear Sir/Madam,

We appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised in Complaint ID ********, filed against our company. We take all customer feedback seriously, and we are committed to resolving any issues promptly and transparently.
Upon thorough investigation into the matter, we would like to bring to your attention that the complaint appears to be based on misinformation. We understand the importance of maintaining a positive reputation and strive to provide exceptional service to all our customers.

In response to the specific concerns raised in the complaint:
Upon arrival at the property, our crew spoke with the complainant and explained they were at the property to conduct a survey and that they would be walking around the property and gathering information. At that time there were no issues between anyone, and so the crew continued with their work. While gathering measurements and locations around a fence, it was at this time the neighbor came out yelling about us trespassing on his property. Florida Statute Chapter 472.029 states “Surveyors and Mappers or their subordinates may go on, over, and upon the lands of others when necessary to make surveys and maps or locate or set monuments,… Entry under the right granted by this subsection does not constitute trespass, and Surveyors and Mappers and their duly authorized agents or employees so entering are not liable to arrest or to a civil action by reason of such entry…” We informed the neighbor that we were doing a survey, but the neighbor became very belligerent and yelling vulgarities which then seemed to instigate the complainant who joined in on yelling and screaming vulgarities. Our crew did not engage with them and when the complainant said he was calling the police our field crew said they wanted him to, and they would speak with the police. The neighbor continued to yell and cause a scene, so we finished the job as quickly as possible. The complainant became upset that our crew was taking pictures of him, but it was just our total station equipment used to conduct the survey work. The crew finished the job and left the property but did sit in their vehicle down the road for about 30 to 45 minutes waiting for the police, but the police never came during that time, so they left.

We believe in open communication and transparency, and we are more than willing to work with the BBB to resolve this matter. Our commitment to customer satisfaction remains unwavering, and we are dedicated to finding a fair and satisfactory resolution for all parties involved.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you require any further information or clarification. We value BBB’s role in mediating disputes and maintaining trust between businesses and consumers.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to a fair and equitable resolution.

    Best Regards,

We contracted with the company for a property boundary survey during house purchase in March 2022. We moved in April, and could not find two of the property boundary pins that they claimed they placed according to their official survey. We contacted the company to confirm if the pins had been placed, and they confirmed that they had been placed, but still we could not find them. In order to find the boundary of the property, we had to contract with the company again to come out to place property markers. When the team arrived, they could not find the two property boundary pins either, and had to place new pins to mark the boundary corners. Because it appears that the company did not place the boundary pins to begin with, we are disputing the charge for the second team to come out, since the original survey was not completed as claimed.
