I saw an ********** on **** that I needed. I wanted to order it next day air, and it was not clear how to do that on ****. So I called the business - United HVAC Motors - at 3:15 PM on 9/4/24. They advised me to go to their web page and order the motor there, and specify next day air to get it the next day. So I did this. I did not notice a cutoff time on the home page regarding Next Day orders, however there is a small note there specifying a 3:00 cutoff. I searched for the motor I needed, found it, bought it, and selected Next Day shipping, for $52 extra. I received order confirmation at 3:32 PM. At no time did any notification of a cutoff time come up or was mentioned during the ordering process. The motor did not arrive the next day, it arrived 2 days later on 9/6/24. I called to get my money back for the Overnight shipping charge. They said sorry, we have a 3:00 cutoff for Overnight shipping, which I went to the web page and saw, after looking carefully for it. We exchanged 4-5 emails to which I described my problem with not seeing the small note on their website home page, no mention of a cutoff time during the ordering process, and the fact that their employee that answered the phone told me at 3:15 to go onto their web page and order it, rather than use ***** where the motor was the same price as their web page. Note - **** has a *************************** that will issue refunds and arbitrate conflicts with sellers. However because I used their web page instead, I have no remedy with this service. Plus they also avoided paying the **** commission, in addition to fleecing me for an extra $52. United HVAC Motors engages in unscrupulous sales tactics to direct traffic from **** to their website for orders, maximizing their margin and taking advantage of customers without giving them recourse of a 3rd party.

Recieved this motor on Sep.11 2024. The descrption of motor said it rotated clockwise and counterclockwise . It did not. Have been trying to return for 10 days . Have emailed and called 2 times. both times they lied and said they would email my return label. They did not. Their return policy says you have 22 days to do a return . After that they wont accept it. You even have to file a warranty claim to do the return on the website. That is not clearly stated on their website either. I just really need my money back .

Theft. I gave you my business not once but twice as I purchased two HVAC motors from your company. The first motor didnt work with my application so I returned the first motor as per your return policy using your *** shipping label and was NEVER issued a refund. I disputed the charge and your company proceeded to deny my dispute even as your tracking indicates that my returned unit was received by your company on 6/27 @ 4:22pm. What United HVAC has done is literally try to steal $306 dollars of my money and I will make sure to leave as many public reviews as I can warning others of your business practices.

I purchased a replacement motor from united hvac for my ******* furnace. I used their online tool and put in my motor information and was told what motor to order. I contacted their chat person to make sure i was ordering the correct motor and was assured it was correct. I order the motor and received it a few days later. these are programable ECM motorsl I installed the motor in my furnace but it would only run at one speed and it is a variable speed motor. I contacted *** the owner and informed him of this. I was sent an return label to return the motor which i did. The motor was clearly not programmed properly for my furnace even though i used their online tool and my original motor reference numbers as well as confirming it with their chat person. after returning the motor i received a credit less an ***** dollar restocking fee for a motor that was clearly not programed properly. Buyer beware, if they send you the wrong motor they will charge you a restocking fee.

I purchased a HVAC motor from United HVAC on 12/30/23 for $740.00 and it was defective. I followed there warranty return policy and shipped the motor back. It was received by them and the return for $552.50 was processed by them according to an email sent on 3/29/24. I have yet to see the credit on my credit card. after multiple attempts to contact them they replied that the return was processed and that after that there was nothing they could do and to check with my credit card company. My card company said they do not see a record of that transaction. I checked back with them and received no reply.

I purchased a motor from united hvac motors for $299 that came out to be about $307 and change. The motor worked for 3 days. Filed a warranty claim at an additional $100 and received another motor that didn't work at all. They refuse to give me my money back claiming they sent a good motor and that since I filed a warranty claim a refund was not possible. They also said that something else was wrong with my unit, but I have a motor that is loaned to me ************* for the 2+ weeks this has been going on. I simply want my money back and to prevent others from getting caught in this scam!

Purchased an **** ************ (model 5SME39HXL3031) on 12/14/2022 (order #*****) item arrived promptly on 12/16/2022 however upon installation the **** unit (Lennox) provided an error code (E201). I tested the motor in another unit and it also generated the same error (E201), I called my local hvac technician and he tested the unit confirming that it was defective. I immediately (12/16/2022) called United HVAC motors and they advised me to file a warranty claim even though the item arrived Dead on arrival. This motor had a 6 month warranty from the date of purchase. I filed the warranty claim as they directed, on their website (RMA 775) on 12/16/2022 and another united was sent to me and I returned the defective unit. The replacement unit was installed and worked with out any problems until 4/7/2023, when again the Lennox system generated the same E201 error code. I called the company and they said to email them instead. Emailing them the company refused to honor the 6 month warranty on the replacement blower claiming I had already filed a claim on the original item, even though it was defective. I would like the company to honor their warranty policy and send me a functional new blower motor. Additionally I have tested this replacement blower motor in a second **** system and also have my **** technician confirm it is defective, as it also generated the same error (E201, defective motor code from Lennox). I have provided the email dialog beginning from the initial (12/16/2022) E201 correspondence upto the most recent email correspondence.

I ordered a furnace motor on Feb 21, for $449.99, and was assured they provide a 6 month warranty. I received it on Feb 24, installed, only to find out it did not work. I had to wait until Feb 27 to call them, as they are closed on weekends. They said they would send replacement motor, but charged me $200, which would be refunded when I returned the 1st motor. They were also supposed to send a *** shipping label for the return. 2nd motor delivered on Mar 2, installed to find it did not work either. Still did not get a shipping label. I have called and emailed multiple times since Mar 3, requesting a full refund of $649.99 and 2 shipping labels to return their defective motors. I finally had to call a repair company out on Mar 9, who tested and confirmed both motors are defective. He then ordered a new motor from his supplier, I installed, and it worked perfectly. I sent one more email on Mar 9 requesting the full refund and 2 shipping labels, with no response.

I bought a remanufactored *** motor from United HVAC motors that had a 1 year warranty with it on 1/6 /23. I recieved the motor on 1/10/23. The price was $299.99 which came to a total of $307.95 all together. It was for a 2 stage **** furnace and was suppose to be an exact replacement motor. Before installing the motor, I replaced the control board, the memory chip and the 4 pin wire harness to rule out other issues in my trouble shooting. After installing the motor I still got a code #** on my control board telling me the *** on the motor was not communicating with the control board. I contacted the furnace company and they gave me a number to talk with their Tech support. I spoke to the the Tech support team and they sent one of the service Tech's to the job sight. He brought a new motor with him and we installed the new motor and everything worked fine. I tried to contact the United HVAC Motors to get a refund on the faulty motor they sent me and was told it was out of warranty and they wanted me to send an additional $200. For another motor that I no longer needed because I had purchased a new motor. They also wanted to charge an additional 25% restocking fee for a motor that never worked straight out of the box along with the $200. for a replacement motor. I tried calling numerous times to talk with someone in person and could never contact a live person on the phone. They want everything done online and the warranty request is a joke , they have a multiple choice questioner that did not pertain to the problems I was having with the motor, which was a communication error between the motor *** and the control board . There is nowhere to input this information. I even went so far as buying a tester for that motor, it made the motor run but it did not communicate with the control board which told me it had a bad *** on the motor. This company is scamming lots of people on their false advertising of their warranty. All I want is my money refunded.
