I called Air Duct Now to clean out my dryer vent they quoted me $79.00. They came out 11/10 and done a deep cleaning and done a patch and seal. And would like to note one of the gentlemen asked if he could come in wash his hands. I noticed something on the floor. I asked if it was cat f**** and he stated yes. He had tracked it all the way up the entry way to the front door. All through the garage and came in and tracked it to my kitchen sink and washed his hands. It also was on my cream colored kitchen rugs. I washed them and still had to cut out the f**** How rude. No sorry nothing. Then he presented me an invoice for $1820.07. I was in shock I gave him a check and I am sure they laughed all the way to the bank... I called them on 12/9 due to they did not secure the vent to the dryer and the vent had blown out from the back of the dryer . The lady that I spoke with stated she would have the manager to call. And no called was received. I am 71 years and I can not man handle the dryer to pull out and try to connect. I called my daughter and she pulled it out and connected the vent to the dryer and noticed air was leaking from the hose and taped it with duct. I for sure am wanting a refund for this half A-- job. And I can't help wonder if they even cleaned out the vent?????? I can not believe this business is still in business. But I did notice they have changed their name to *******.

I paid $639 for an air ************ vent cleaning 5 weeks ago. Now my dryer stops after 5 minutes of run time with a notification warning me of a vent clog. I had a technician look at my dryer today, connect an anemometer to measure air flow which confirmed at least a 50% clog in my dryer vent. I called back Air Duct Now to request a return service, and I was told by the operator that the manager ****** will be notified and call me back to resolve. No call backs and now they are blocking my call! The service man from Air Duct Pros who came out to my house to clean the ducts and vents 5 weeks ago was a young middle eastern man named ***. This *** *** also claimed to have installed a dryer vent screen which I am just now finding out is against code and a fire hazard! I just researched reviews of this company on ****. This company has a 1 star yelp rating with a very large number of complaints claiming this company is a Scam! Ive attached screen shots of my payment to Air Duct Pros on 8/20/24 as well as a screen shot of the dryer technicians notes from todays visit. I want my money back!

On 9/18/2024 Air Duct Now sent out a technician to look at the vents of my dryer to have them cleaned. The tech came and did an initial test saying that a standard cleaning wouldn't be enough to help the issue. He told me they would need to go on roof and do a deep cleaning of the vents and change out all the dryer ventilation. The tech had me speak to his manager regarding pricing. The manager told me they could do all work required for $1,550 which included a 10 year warranty. This warranty included coming back to clean or fix any issues over the next 10 years. He also offered me same service with a lower year warranty for a lower price. I was completely shocked by these prices and asked why it was so expensive and the tech said it was due to the complex cleaning that was needed and the potential replacement of the dryer vent. Ultimately, I agreed to a price of $550 which included the work with no warranty. The technician got the tools for the job and came back cleaned the dryer in 20 minutes. When he was done, I asked him if he had to go to roof and he said he didn't nor did the vents need to be replaced. I again spoke to the manager to discuss payment and he told me it would be $650 plus taxes. I said to him you told me $550 before and he said I heard wrong. At the moment I was dealing with my 2 small kids who were screaming so I just decided to pay. They insisted I pay with check or cash to avoid any additional fees. After I digested what had occurred, I called back the main company number to ask what I had paid for as I didn't understand why I paid an outrageous amount for a simple job and never received an invoice. The manager told me I paid for the work and a 5 year warranty. I specifically was told I had no warranty. The manager promised to call me back but never did and has now blocked my number. Looking at other reviews this has happened to many others. I believe this company is a scam and took advantage of me. Is there anything you can do to help?

Date of transaction: 6/25/2024 Paid $1050 I called Air Duct Now for someone to come clean our drier and its vents. Air Duct Now subcontracted a different business by the name of ******************** (phone number ************) to come to my home to clean the clothes dryer and vent. They provided me with a quote of $1195 and told me I had to pay with *****, Zelle, or check only. I told them to hold on as I had to check with my partner if we were going to pay this amount and confirm. When I came back in the laundry room, they had started work within a matter of minutes and told me they now had to charge me the full amount. I was in shock. I never said yes to the quote but they began work. It took them 15 minutes and they wanted to charge me $1195 plus a 9% fee for a credit card payment. I was furious but home alone and a woman. I wanted them out of my home. I paid and now I cannot get a hold of a manager with the company "Air Duct Now" which originally hired these contractors. I looked up the company they sent (********************) which I do not believe is even licensed and all of the reviews state the same experience: being taken advantage of and given outrageous fees by an individual who forces you to pay after you did not agree to the work being done.

For clarification I am filing a claim against the original contractor Air Duct Now.

I have attached my invoice which makes it unclear as to which company was paid, Air Duct Now or ********************* I believe it was Air Duct Now as the phone # is a Florida contact. The fact that the invoice is unclear is shady business.

I hired Air Duct Now for their special dryer vent cleaning. The employee who showed up cleaned and "inspected." After his inspection he told me i had a broken vent and unsealed vent that needed to be fixed for $500. I told him no, just to clean the vent. He argued with me, becoming aggressive and i declined again. Because he was aggressive i did not confront him about the picture of the broken vent he showed me. I knew it was not from my attic because i had just been in the attic removing some boxes and i know what my attic looks like. The picture he showed me was in the middle of his camera roll and not my house. This is a total scam. After i told him to finish and leave, he proceeded to rip holes in my dryer vent line and not attach it properly out of spite. This was horrific service and this company should not be in business. My only regret was not kicking him out of the house but because he became aggressive and i was alone, i wrote him a check to leave. He also offered me the rate of $79 if i paid cash but $85 if i paid by check because then he would have to pay taxes. I have also reported this company to the *** and ***************** for the State of Florida.

We called Air Duct Cleaning Services ***** in July 2023 for a dryer vent cleaning service they advertised. When they arrived, they said they could not honor the advertised price because our laundry room was on the 2nd floor and the vent went through the attic. They did not have a ladder to reach the vent. So they used a chemical process to clean the vent and charged me more. They suggested that I buy a multi-year service plan that would save me money on this visit and on future visits and would ensure they brought a ladder to reach the vent properly. In the past two weeks, I have emailed, used the "Contact Us" form on their website, called, sent a What's App message - all with no reply. I used What's App to call and a man answered with surprise in his voice (as if he didn't expect anyone to call that number or didn't expect a customer to be on the other end). I explained my attempts to contact them; he wouldn't not take my information and told me I needed to send a text message with details. I have sent three text messages with no response. They are unresponsive and unwilling to follow through on the service agreement they sold me. I believe this business is scamming people by selling more expensive service agreements and not following through.

Air Duc Now is advertising Air Duc cleaning for $99 so I made an appointment for May 7, 2024. The technician was late to appointment so I went to work and asked my mother to allow the technician to come in.The technician by the name of *** called me stated I need AC deep cleaning for $700. When I refused to pay that amount, *** proceeded to reduce the price to $249. *** called and requested Payment via Zelle. When I asked for an Invoice before, he stated one would be sent after payment had been made. I made the payment but as of today no invoice has been received. When I returned home I found the vents dirty as if nothing had been done. My mother confirmed that *** was in the house for a total of 10 minutes. I called immediately to make a complain and the person who answered stated that another technician would come to my house again to do the cleaning. A week later no one has come and after repeated calls, ************ does not want to take responsibility. They are a complete Scam and thieves who take advantage of the elderly.

Scammers.... Ad advertised $79 for basic cleaning services. Technician *** came out and pulled the dryer away from the wall then immediately told us we needed a new flexible hose which was already new. Then he spent the next 20 minutes trying to sell us (we are seniors) upgraded stuff we didn't need...first it was $949 for a booster and then $399 to clean the roof vent, but then he finally charged us $149 and never did the basic cleaning. He went up on the roof and stuck his hand in to pull out the protruding lint which took him only five minutes!I called them three different times, and they said they were going to check into it but never got back to me. They are foreigners who keep talking and will not listen to your complaints!Do not trust this company!
