this company is a scam very shady. DO NOT USE AIR DUCT NOW THIS IS A SCAM THEY SEND TWO GUYS SUPPOSEDLY FROM ****** THEY SAID I HAD A BLOCKAGE THEY NEVER GAVE THE PICTURES TOLD ME THAT IT WAS $600.00 INSTEAD OF $79.00 THEY NEVER GAVE ME THE PICTURES ON TOP OF IT THEY WANT IT CASH. I PUT IT ON MY CREDIT CARD THEY END UP CHARGING $695.50 AND THE ***** TO CHARGE ME A ***** SERVICE FEE WHEN I CALLED NOBODY ANSWERED THE PHONE. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.Review from Luis C

These two individuals from this company had no integrity whatsoever, started on the cost bump up as soon as they pulled out the dryer, 7% surcharge for credit card payment, argumentative, no concern for cleanliness I called the company and the woman that answered the phone listened to my complaint and responded with the same line that she used on previous commentorson this platform I will talk to the manager ***** this companyReview from Billie J

I called them to clean my dryer vent and they quoted $79.00. The came out and cleaned vent and patched sealed and charged me $1820.07. And wanted to come in and wash they're hands and tracked cat feces all through the house to the kitchen sink and got it all all over my cream colored kitchen rugs. I had to cut it out of the rugs. That was on 11/10/2024. I called them 12/09 to advise that the service men had not secured the vent in the rear of the dryer and the vent had blown out of the hole in the back of the dryer. The lady I spoke with stated she would have the manager to return my called which I never received. I am 71 years old and I am not strong enough to man handle the dryer to get out far enough to get behind it to dry to repair. My daughter came over and pulled it out an secured the vent hose to the dryer and she noticed air was escaping from the house and taped it up with duct tape. And Air Duct Now charged me $1.00 for a 10 year a warranty. There us no way I would ever let them back in my home. So I guess they just laughed their way all the way to the bank. I did noticed they have changed their name to First 1. Please do not let this company come to your home.

Dishonest Business Practice, DO NOT USE AIR DUCT NOW for services. Their website is deceitful and the reviews on there do not match their tech performances. Watch out for sudden increase in original quoted price, as well as false claim that you have mold or need some sort of UV light system. If you decide to use this company, make sure you stay with them the entire time and ensure they actually perform the work you paid them to do. I've checked the air duct and dryer vent after the tech left and it was fitly/dirty, he did not clean and sanitized anything and threatening me to pay him upfront and made some other threatening remarks with false mold claim. Air Duct Now or whatever name they call themselves should not be in business. Sadly, the Better Business Bureau does nothing about companies like this, so they will continue to exist.Review from Jennifer B

I saw the ad online for $79 basic dryer vent cleaning and scheduled an appointment. Two guys showed up and quoted us for $179 for each dryer (we have 2 dryers). He said the $79 was only for 3 feet of dryer vent (which wasnt stated anywhere in the ad). We sent them away as we werent willing to pay that much. Then he offered to do it for $250. Said no thanks, Ill call another company. He was very condescending to both my husband and I.( I followed up with a call to another company that came out and said it wasnt even necessary to clean one of the dryer vents because it is only two feet and vents straight out) I called the main line back and asked what qualifies as a basic dryer vent cleaning and she said no more than 30 feet of venting. I would not recommend this company. They have false advertisement and technicians that long to take advantage of you by doing unnecessary work.Review from Carlos L

Agreed this is a FRAUDULENT COMPANY that needs to be shut down!!!! They will arrive to your house and then tell you the need to do a deep cleaning and because of insurance on two story houses they have to charge you $698!! I will continue to report this place until theyre shut down I almost had to call the cops because the guy wouldnt leave the house!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE and report them ASAP!!!!! Its wrong what theyre doing!!!Review from Pujan R

AIR DUCT NOW PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY...I scheduled an appointment to clear my dryer vent, which was advertised at $79( dryer vent basic cleaning plus full inspection) due to a sale (originally $150).The guy came in personal vehicle, not commercial vehicle. Entered the house without any tools or equipment. Just checked the dryer vent and took a picture. Went outside and checked for the vent. Immediately he quoted me $600 for cleaning. I told him I'd get back for the service. But he asked for the payment of $79 (enmo or cash app), just for the inspection without even cleaning. After long arguments decided on $60. I asked him to stay outside and i will get the check. But the guy came upstairs without asking and I saw him coming out of room that was opened when no was one watching.He refued to accept the check saying their company dont accept check. Anyways I paid $60 with check and later called the company. The company said they do accept the check.Please be aware of this company.Review from Martha E

I want to report an unfair business practice by Air Duct Now. I scheduled an appointment to clear my dryer vent, which was advertised at $79 due to a sale (originally $150). However, I was shocked to be charged $795.I have called their office multiple times and spoke with A.J., who promised that manager "Shelly" would call me back, but I never received a response. Subsequent calls went straight to voicemail.My concern is why the cost escalated so drastically when all I needed was a basic cleaning with no additional services like a 5-year warranty. Additionally, their technician arrived in a personal vehicle with Texas plates, not a commercial vehicle as expected.I am extremely dissatisfied with their service and feel misled by their advertising. I am seeking a refund for the excessive charges and the misleading nature of their pricing. Neighbors, please be aware of these practices.Furthermore, I intend to report them to other local authorities for their deceptive practices
