The company's owner personally visited Mr. ********** home to assess the situation; he advised ******************** to contact his insurance provider to arrange for a full replacement of the structure. ******************** agreed that no further screen repairs would be requested and that he would proceed with the insurance claim. Given that ******************** has not adhered to the agreement, we will schedule a crew to visit his property when we have another project in the vicinity.

    Good afternoon *** ********,

The warranty does not apply for storms or hurricanes. We cannot change the screen if it came off due to a natural disaster. The homeowner was advise to change the whole structure because his structure is too old and the material that was install at that time is not currently on the market.

He had the new estimate to start his process for the new enclosure.

The reason ** aluminum for not completeing the work is not correct. The damage from second hurricane was not significant. There was exiting damage before the hurricane that we had complain** and they never honor** their warranty.

    ***** company is very dishonest.

We will close the case as it is frustrating to fight this company

Signed contract 8/1/23 for construction of screened in patio. Patio was completed 10/23. Due to poor construction techniques, roof leaks. Company has used caulking to seal leaks on 4 or 5 occasions to no resolution. Roof sags when walked on, which probably causes leaks. Unsafe? Majority of employees do not speak English. ****** does not return calls. Patio roof is supported (connected) to supplied gutter system. Should have been connected and flashed to facia for better support. Should have been constructed with 4degree pitch for better runoff to outer gutter. It seems caulking is not the answer to construction. Cannot install gutter guards till leaking is corrected. Might not even be possible without causing more leaks.

A manager, your sales representative and a crew went to your house on 4/4/2024 to check the issue and do the repair; the general manager will stop by your house next week to follow up.

The superintendent went to the customer's house on Monday 4/15/2024 to check the job and the homeowner stated to him that there's no leaking, that the pitch is enough for the water to run, the seal is correct and that they are just afraid to have leaking when the hurricane season comes.

In July of last year we hired them to put a screen enclosure on our son's villa @ ********************* Orlando Florida. After the screen was installed we have attempted several times to get a leak addressed before the warranty expires. We cannot address a hole in the concrete pad until this leak is fixed. They have sent workers over that do not call in advance, do not knock on the door to announce they are there and the leak is still not fixed. I am not sure how they can fix a leak if they don't talk to the homeowner to make sure they have the correct area and that the issue is resolved.. It is a nice structure, but we are frustrated that we can not get this issue fixed and the lack of communication is poor business

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/05/06) */ We contacted the homeowner, and the leaking was fixed.

I had ED Aluminum come out and add a lanai in 2019. The work was done in a timely manner. The initial quality however was poor. They were responsive to my request to have the work improved. It is now 2022 and I am looking to sell my home. As part of the closing process it was discovered that ED Aluminum never closed the permit with the county. They also never ordered the final inspection. They have done the to multiple clients. This is particularly upsetting because I am now not able to sell my home. The ladies who work there are trained to lie and cover what seems to be permit fraud. This company should not be trusted. If you have used them in the past please verify that all permits have been closed. The company is currently in the process of changing it's business name. I think this is an attempt to avoid all of the old permits that were never closed out. The permit for the work done to my home is more than 3 years old. There was never a final inspection ordered. The company had lied several times, and even went as far as submitting a false official document. These people should be investigated and the business should be closed. I have attached the false document that was sent to me.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/18) */ This problem was already resolved but most of this comment is not true. We explain to Mr. ****** that we lost information from some customers, and we could not close the permit on the county, but we were going to help him on the process. We sent him a letter to give to the realtor saying that we were responsible to close the permit and he started to yell and curse at all our staff when they were willing to help him all the time. He said that we sent false official documents and we always sent the documents that the county requested so he's calling fraudulent to the county. Attached certificate of completion. We don't have the accreditation from Better Business Bureau but it's really disappointed that they only show the bad reviews when we have some good reviews from our customers.
