When I signed up for the membership car wash (***** a month) the attendant at the car wash gave me a business card with the customer service number and email and said when I wanted to cancel to send an email to the email address and tell them I wanted to cancel. I sent an email when I was ready to cancel but received nothing back. They charged my account the ***** a few days later and sent a receipt. I replied to email saying I already sent an email asking to cancel and never received anything back again. Then they charged my card again the following month. I went to their website and filled out a contact form and ****** (who I found out later is apparently the customer service supervisor) emailed me back in which she asked me to explain the situation so I did. She tells me that on their end they did have record that they sent me an email asking for more of my information but I never responded. I told her I never got an email but the one with the receipt for the recurring charge a few days later. I also explained that I never used the car wash after I sent the initial email so theres no reason they couldnt refund me for the past 2 charges right? Wrong! According to them anyway. To them they feel as they deserve to keep my money without me receiving any service but horrible customer service. I was only doing what the initial attendant at the car wash told me to do when I wanted to cancel which was to email the email address on the card that I wanted to cancel. He never said I had to provide any further info then that nor that I was going to have to look out for another email after asking for further info. Funny they were able to link my account with a simple email address when they sent me a receipt for the charge but a simple email address was not good enough to cancel. I talked to ****** through email who refused to refund me the money no matter my argument. I spoke to a lady (I regret I didnt get her name) from headquarters and she did same. Buyer beware!

I signed up for a monthly recurring charge for car washes at the company's *************************, ****** location on June 10. About July 14 I returned for a car wash and was told the location was closed for complete renovation on July 1 for at least a month. The attendant, who was the same individual who I dealt with on June 10 was stationed under shelter. He was clearly intoxicated (a different issue and not the subject of this complaint). He gave me a list of alternate locations I could use but none are convenient to my location or driving habits. The business had already charged me for another month's service on July 10. I contacted the parent company, Mammoth Holdings, LLC on July 17 via email on their website to ask them to reverse the charge. In reply, they offered to extend my account by 5 weeks but would not reverse the charge. I responded to the company yesterday, July 18, to immediately cancel my account. I have placed the charge in dispute with my credit card company ****** today, July 19. The planned renovation at the location was obviously known well in advance of June 10 when I first signed up. I should have been informed that the site would be closed down for at least a month. I would not have signed up had this been made known to me. If both my original and subsequent charge are allowed to stand, I will have been charged $69.98 for one automated car wash. I accept paying the first charge on Jun 10 but feel strongly the second should be refunded.

I joined one of Mammoth's car wash location in ****** a couple of years ago. Prices were $14.99/mth. Then it went to $17.99. I was Ok with this, but for over a year, it went to $24.99. They never sent me any confirmation of price increases. I have email proof. This is to show their business practices, I don't care to recoup any money as I am cancelling my membership (hopefully they will allow it).**** 6 2022, they charged me $24.99 which is my monthly fee. I went to the car wash less than two weeks later, and they were closed. The lady sitting in the parking lot said they will be closed for 6 weeks for renovations. Again, not an email or phone call. So I paid for a month, and not even two weeks after billing I can't use the facility. I called them and the lady said they will give me 5 weeks credit and a freeze, so they won't charge me until 8/21/22. Should be 6 weeks because that's how long it will take or maybe longer to fix the ****** location. But whatever. I just checked my account and they billed me again on 7/18. So they don't have a refund policy. What happens now, give me more credit but at the same time keep billing me every month? What kind of scam is this? I will always be forced to be a member because you **** me monthly but say you won't and at the same time give me credit for the ********? They also tell me to use another facility. Have you seen gas prices? I can't just drive around looking for your other locations. Will you pay for my gas and wear and tear on my car? Have you seen traffic in this area? I joined because ****** is near me, not because I want to drive ***** minutes to another location!I would like my $24.99 refund you just charged on 7/18 because I was not supposed to get charged. I would be a great gesture if you refund me $24.99 for **** also, because I barely used the facility. Track my bar code, I haven't used ****** or any other location since early ****. After the refund, cancel my membershipASAP!
