I purchased a 2024 Honda Accird on September 3 2024 and I also purchased the optional insurance that would fix my windshield if it was damaged. Well within the first month of driving my car to work I was struck by a rock on the interstate. I called the dealership they had me bring my car in and then informed me that they would not fix my windshield and I would have to file it under my insurance. I do not believe I should have to do this. This is a brand new car I have the paperwork stating I have 5 repairs covered by the dealership and they are refusing. Since the weather has gotten colder my windshield has cracked to the point it needs replaced. When if they had just taken care of the problem in the first place it could have just been a repair.Business response

I am sorry to hear about rock. The windshield repair insurance does not cover replacement only windshield repairs that can be filled in. I will be happy to meet with you and see what can be done.

Honda recall - scheduled and took car to this place for transmission software update. First time, they said they could not do the update due to their USB being down. Took car back same afternoon because parking brake engaged and locked up. We did NOT *********. They say they 'did' the update this time only now, I have a brand new headlight out which was working fine when they were handed my keys. Also, now have a parking brake light lit up on dash. Headlights were installed Saturday, March 30, 2024. Car taken to this *** service department Thursday, April 4, 2024. Headlights were $30. I want them to replace them. Only passenger side out but they come in a set. Not at all happy with this dealership.Business response

I have had zero connection with the customer. My personal cell and email is on the website. If the customer wants to contact me I am willing to investigate. I can't imagine my staff not helping a customer with a $30 repair.

I purchased a 2020 Honda Civic back in September and was told that it was a certified Honda vehicle and that it had 2 complimentary oil changes. I know that a Honda Certified vehicle costs more and I also bought the vehicle for that reason. I went to go get my free oil change in November at the Honda dealership on ************** and they told me that they didnt see any free oil changes on the vehicle. I called Shottenkirk and they said that I did have complimentary oil changes since it was a certified car. They told me that they would fix it and I paid out of pocket for that oil change. I was also promised a spare set of keys which I havent received despite calling and messaging ************* (the salesman who sold me the car.) I havent received the keys to this day and I even drove to Cartersville from Ringgold to pick them up a week after purchasing the car. I went back a few days ago to get my oil changed and this time the ************** dealership said that there were not any oil changes on the vehicle and even said that the vehicle was not certified by Honda. They printed out the screen where it would show that it is certified and I called Shottenkirk. I called them 3 times that day and they took my name and number and promised to call me back. No call back, so I called the next day and the same thing. Was promised to get a call back, so today I called again and same thing. I have been told by multiple sales managers that they would call me back. The dealership was fraudulent by telling me it was a certified vehicle and even listing the car as so. I am also still missing the complimentary oil changes and the spare keys. I have not received one call back as well. I know that this is auto misrepresentation and is not acceptable. Especially since I paid extra and even decided to buy this vehicle because it was certified.Initial Complaint

Very unprofessional service I took my 2019 Honda accord for service lady at the front desk named ****** and the manager *** very greedy people money hungry they told me pacifically bill change my front brake pad and front rotors, rear brake pad and rear rotors for $630. I agree with the price, when the job was done, I came back next day to pick up my car. It told me no it was only the front brake pad and front rotors. I told him if they would told me about this yesterday I would not pay $630 for the brake pad and rotors to replace in the front of Used Honda accord. They told me they can do nothing about it. They already been replaced now I have to pay it, or they would not give me my car. I had no other choice, but to pay it, but my point is they are very *****, they tell you something they do something else if they wouldnt tell me it would be very easier to make my decision if I wanna get the work done yes or no but they keep me in secret by not telling me straight up told me get the work done. Well do it for really good price and I look at the market *****, Auto Repair, it will charge me $430 for the brake pad and rotors I took it to Honda because I figure they are original dealers for the Honda when they told me the price is $630 and I told him he ***** is charging me 430 why are you charging me 200 she said its a dealership and I totally agree with that and I told her dont worry. Ill pick up my car tomorrow but they ripped me off took my money. It was my one week paycheck now I dont have no money to feed my kids because I paid them for a simple job, you ***** they liar and mean people I tried to talk to the manager. He was very rude trying to curse me over the phone. I told him hey take it easy ***** why do you have to yell at me I was just trying to be nice to him by explaining to them but no, they dont wanna listen , so in my mind, Im thinking they are rip off people they might do it to every person in cartersville so I paid $822 including diagnose feeBusiness response

2018 **** Mustang EcoBoost was purchased by on April 12, 2023 from this dealership in used condition. It has only been two months of normal driving and the tires are disinigrating on the tread and thus are unsafe to drive with. Was told to bring the car in and they would make it right if they are at fault. Brought car to dealership at 7am as requested. Dealership states damage is from hitting curb which is inaccurate as we have never hit the curb. Curb rash would effect the outside of the tire not the inside. Car was purchased with curb rash already in place. That is not the concern. The breakdown of the thread is issue as it is new and severe. Dealership is incorrect in their allegations and refuses to answer my phone call to explain how they have come to this conclusion or provide any further details.Business response

When I purchased the pre-owned white 2019 Honda CR-V EXL from Shottenkirk Honda on August 3, 2022, I noticed the windshield was cracked. I was promised it was fixed and will not be a big problem when I'm driving the car. The shop said it was sealed and is as good as new despite the crack being present. This was not acceptable to me. The sales manager told me I will be able to get it replaced during my first service, which he scheduled for February 3rd, 2023 with an oil change and other checks. I had to reschedule the service to February 11th. When I arrived at the shop, I was told I would be able to have the car serviced, but the windshield will cost $700.00 to replace, but will be split half and half, which means the shop will pay $350.00 and I will have to pay $350.00 out of pocket. The sales manager had scheduled my service with the note fix windshield for 6 months later, the shop pointed out the service should have been done within 30 days of the purchase, and it is to fix windshield not replace. I believed your sales manager when he said the windshield would be fixed at my service appointment that he scheduled, regardless of what the shop said when I arrived. Also, I do not understand why the term fix windshield would have been put down if the windshield is already fixed. I purchased this car because I believed it would be in perfect condition, and the windshield would have been replaced so it is not cracked, I am not comfortable with the fact that the windshield have been cracked already, and as I told the sales manager at the time I would not have purchased the car without it being fixed ( Meaning there would be no crack), in other words replaced.Initial Complaint

I bought 2021 Honda Accord sport from heritage Honda aug 2021. I put down 25 thousand dollars on this car its first new car Ive ever bought an last it was every bit of money I had saved for yrs to do this. The car had to be out in shop twice less than three months of having it due to sensor issues, august 2022 my car had trouble an shut off in middle of road! Would not crank nothing 11 lights came on the dash again like before except before never this many. I had to get tow truck. I called dealership because my car is under warranty an was told right off bat its not warranty issues its not covered. They had not seen my car heard my car or saw all lights on my dash on, first red flag second the manager would not speak with me I was made to talk to 18 yr old girl who had only worked there couple days. I repeatedly asked for management. I asked for loaner vehicle again as two previous times my brand new car had to be fixed an was told no they dont do that an I know they do. I demanded a car an sent images of all the lights on my dash. This was at 9 am around 440 that evening I was called told they had a loaner to come get it. Over week later ** told my car is fixed I pay the $530.00 an go to leave an as pulling out lot my car starts to skip, I called was put on hold. I drove the three miles to work an it skipped whole way an called two more times no call back nothing. I leave work to take car back an it cuts out an shuts down as Im crossing a large highway an was nearly ran over by 18 ******* he had to go up on curb to avoid me. I call shop crying terrified an am told no one is there an back on hold, I limped my car to shop my car will not goover 12 miles hour, I had documentation saying my car had been test drove an was told they drove it nearly 20 miles ran perfect that was untrue an they apologize for the lie, I was called an text last Tuesday after horrible rain storms for days an told my windows were left down over weekend.
