  Just a few hours ago I paid $9.95 that was said to be full access to mold testing and results with online access. I set it up but I do not know why I was charged this and not given a account to log into. I can't view my subscription or what it comes with or includes. I was under the impression I would get a test kit or something with this purchase. Now they want to charge thousands of dollars for what exactly? I e-mailed them to make 100% clear that not only am I am asking for my fee to be returned to me, but also that they not to continue billing me future monthly installments. I am scared this company has already taken advantage of so many in this way. Very much so false advertisement and misleading with intent to scam people out of money for services promised but unfulfilled.

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.However, just because I have been given a satisfactory resolution (my money back), doesn't mean that BBB should consider this matter condoned business activity. Their crafty ability to play with words and spin things around into lies upon lies upon lies in responses doesn't validate them, excuse their actions, or change the fact of what they are truly doing to people. Hopefully, having so many people giving testimony to this will open eyes to their potential victims before it's to late for them.

  I am trying to retrieve from this company receipts for the medical testing that was incurred while I was a client. They will send only a generic statement which I know includes a personal markup of considerable amount by their company. I need only the amount of the medical test so that I might file with OWCP and be reimbursed. This company took thousands and gave me nothing in return but empty promises . They could at least provide some legitimate itemized receipts for their services. I have asked more than one occasion and have been told we are sending them but they never arrive. Now they won't return my calls. People like this who make money off of other peoples hardships and take advantage will suffer great consequences when they meet Our Lord and ******. I was foolish for trusting someone them. That is on me. Hopefully you can help me get receipts for the medical testing costs. Thankyou.

  Mold Law Groups medical phase is a package deal, containing multiple medical samples in addition to several in house experts needing to review the data sets and facilitate client success. We do not have an itemized invoice available for the medical phase as it is sold as a total package including all of the administrative and expert costs. If any insurance or other institution requires speaking with us, we are happy to try and facilitate what they need for any reimbursement issues.

  March/April 2022 I reached out to the Mold Law group regarding a problem getting my home owners insurance to appropriately treat the mold from water damage that occurred in my basement. They ALWAYS represented themselves as AN ATTORNEY GROUP. I was seeking damages to my sons health from this mold in the air. They gave a quote for services and I waited to get the money. January 2024 I paid them $1495 ( I thought to be a retainer for lawyer services) and was sent a urine screening test for my son from Mosiac. After receiving results I called, emailed for THREE WEEKS for next steps. Spoke to ******************* and resent all the finally,he asked I resend all the documents, I waited additional two weeks Called to ask to his supervisor. I spoke to a gentleman who promised to send an email with the next steps of our litigation. March 22, I received another email asking for an additional $2465 TO REFER ME TO A LOCAL ATTORNEY. They are NOT THE LAWYERS they represented to be. It is VERY possible that being strung along for 2 years may *** put me over some stupid ******* time limitation for lawsuits (I believe that the firm that **** quoted that to me is incorrect. I only believe the two-year limitation is only for medical malpractice.)I will include in this complaint, the quote for the phase 3 of consultation from a company that represented themselves as attorneys. And a copy of the charges I paid for my son that you have a urine analysis to this company.

  At all points, including on our website, and in all of the agreements we have clients sign we never claim to be an attorneys office. We are a legal consultancy specializing in conducting environmental, medical and expert witness services. We do work with a national network of attorneys to help facilitate these cases, and those relationships depend on us sending qualified referrals to those said attorneys.

   

  As you were unable to move forward with the environmental testing originally recommended to you in 2022, you chose to wait until after losing access to the environment in 2024. In this scenario the only option we have to assist clients is medical sampling to confirm or deny mold toxins in the body. Once those results were in you were told the next step of the process was a a toxicology report linking the environment and your body, which is also required for us to connect you with one of our partner attorneys as we lack any environmental evidence usually needed to facilitate that consult. This environmental evidence did not exist for us to utilize in your file as you did not originally move forward with that Phase One sampling. These issues are time sensitive, but we cannot help when someone takes 2 years to make a decision.

  in March 2022 I looked online for Mold litigation attorneys because my insurance was refusing to pay for one: 1) The air quality test that I paid for out-of-pocket 2) The treatment of the mold toxicity in the air that I did not have the money for at that time. I had to move myself and my son out of the house and live with family. I emailed your law firm based on the Internet search that is pictured in the files that you come up as the top sponsored law firm for mold litigation,  a sponsored means you Your company paid for that position on a ****** search. Mold litigation attorneys

  At no point in time during any of  our email Communications was I advised tell that you were NOT ATTORNEYS .

  I am a single mother of a child with a disability And was suffering from mold, toxicity symptoms. How dare you say I chose to not move forward. If you quoted me a price back in March, it wouldve simply been waiting for the money to pay for it. Because I will put any money down to make my child healthy and as soon as I got that money, I got him a brain scan in ***** that proves he has mold Toxicity damage.

  I reached out to you repeatedly with the results of the scan and when you finally responded, you told me I had to pay $ 1495 To your firm for testing.Which I promptly did, and as soon as I got the results, it took four weeks for you to return my calls for the next step. We have a brain scan that shows toxic, mold effects and urine screen that shows toxic mold effects.And I cant get you to respond to my emails or calls. Meanwhile, Im suffering with my child who is suffering all the toxic effects and the brain damage side effects. Running out of money to treat him and waiting on who I thought was attorneys to get a lawsuit going so I can cover his medical expenses.

  And now you have the audacity to ask me for another $2495 For phase 3, To evaluate if an attorney can help us or not you never represented yourselves as anything other than attorneys and all the other emails to you now youre asking me to pay you another $2500 to refer me to someone who might consider referring me to an attorney. Meanwhile, Im running out of money for my kids medical expenses, I might have to put him in a hospital for his behaviors because of the side effects of the toxic mold

  no one has ever told me that your group is not attorneys. Your advertisement on ****** says you are a law firm. I cannot afford to give you another $3000 just to consider whether or not my child has enough damage to his body to constitute an actual legal case. Will be dead by the time you get to the point of deciding whether we have a case, and I dont have enough money to Pay consultants What I have left of my money will go to my childs medical needs. You can get off the hook for that $1500 lab test by giving me the name of attorneys to consult myself to find out whether we have a case.

  On 10/13/23 We spoke to Mold Lawe Group about my daughters horrible mold situation in an apartment complex. We were promised an in-depth mold test, a complete and proper case for loss of property and health-related problems, and an attorney referral depending on the results of the test. They said the cost was $2995.00. I was helping my daughter pay the cost so I asked specifically on the recorded call if that was the full cost for all of the services through the whole process. The representative said yes. I let him know I wanted that in writing. He sent the digital client brochure that showed all of the steps of building the case and in the email he sent the partnership with Legal ****** and a typed statement that with this partnership we would have access to vetted attorneys. Email is attached in documentation. We asked about this process on the recorded call because my daughter needed help getting out of her lease and being reimbursed for the damages of losing all of her property. **** said they have attorneys in every state that they regularly work with that they can refer us to. Specifically, my daughter was told that if she mentioned working with Mold Law Group the attorneys would have no problem taking the case. The most important piece of this was their service would put together a complete and proper case that would make it easy for an attorney to work with us. This is not the case. The attorneys they sent us to did not know who they were, non of them take mold cases and the information they provided was not acceptable for attorneys we paid to speak to. We reached out to our own list and no one would take the case either. Services were not completed. They used bait and switch tactics asking for more money at medical phase. I told **** the manager I was told they were included in the initial fee he listened to recorded call and said he would cover the cost of whole process and then never completed the process. We never got the case summary report.

  I am rejecting this response because: We have completed all steps they asked us to do.  we have reached out to them numerous times with no response.  We have texted with no response.  They can't get us an attorney because they already tried and all of the people, they gave us were either bad phone numbers or they said they did not take mold cases and did not know who mold law group is. We have done everything they asked us to do. The "complimentary" health screen they said they gave us was to make up for the bait and switch tactic from our initial conversation. The manager listened to the call, and I forwarded him the email I was sent and that is when he offered to give us the health screen. I have attached screen shots of Texts with us telling them about numbers being bad and attorneys not taking mold cases. There is also a screen shot of a message when they did not show for the attorney appointment. At this point we want a refund.

  We have taken additional measures to ensure the best potential outcome for ************ and her daughter, including but not limited to free medical sampling, and free expert witness work in an attempt to assist her despite the confusion on how our process works. The only thing needed to finalize the file is a writing interview needed to compile the Case Summary Report. This document gives our clientele the best chances at securing representation.

   

  Our records also indicate that we did facilitate consults between the client and potential representation. We do not have control over our affiliated attorneys retainer structures, nor their judgement on each case we place in front of them. It is up to each attorneys own judgement when it comes to whether they will represent the client or not. Different cases have different merits outside of the scientific information that MLG can confirm. Statute of limitations, Releases of Liability and other issues that MLG cannot verify as a consultancy can impact the ability one of our partnered attorneys may have to litigate the claims. On every document we have client sign in addition to the information provided by our consultant and on our website it states that we are a consultancy and not an attorneys office. 

   

  At this time the only resolution offered by MLG is for us to finalize our process as 2/3 of that has been at ZERO cost to client.

All numbers they gave us were bad phone numbers and people who did not take mold cases and consults were not even set up.  We did push one attorney to speak to on our own and Mold law group said they would come to the meeting to speak with the attorney with us.  Mold law group missed the appointment. We will complete the process since they are not willing to refund our money.  I want to stress to anyone reading this. Do Not spend money with the Mold Law Group.   I called MoldLawGroup after fighting with my landlord for months regarding mold found in my vent system. They have you take a mold urine test and once it comes back positive, they lead you to believe you have a case and that you are going to keep getting sicker until all the mold is gone. They convince you that you need mold bombs and air purifiers and more tests at the rate of $1400 per person. I dont know how out of control it would have gotten, but Im about $3000 into it now with no hope for resolution.

  I retained the mold law group at a price of ******* on 9/11. They told me that it was a one time fee for their three phase process. They assured me that any further costs would come from the case settlement. So far for my **** I have recived enviromental testing that would normally cost 300 to 500 to conduct. I was called by a different specialist after mold test came back postive stating phase two medical testing costs were an additional $1900. This was never discussed and I spoke to ***************** and ******************* asking about pricing on two seprate occasions. Both assured me **** covered all phases and if anything I might need to pay a lawyer an initial consult fee of around 300 to 500. I am angry because this is not what I agreed to! I did not agree to keep paying **** to **** at each phase of their process. Very misleading business pratice preying on people desperate to get help!

Not only do we send someone out to perform said tests, there is also lab fees, industrial hygienists time to review, our case managers and senior mold analysts time as well.   I contact the Mold Law Group in Jan 2023 due to confirmed mold in my new build home. I was provided by brochures detailing the process, which mentioned environment testing, medical testing, and preparing of a final report. I was told over the phone the entire cost to me would be $2995. I paid the full amount, and an environment testing tech was scheduled who prepared a report with multiple inaccuracies, including misspelt names. The testing came back positive, and subsequently I was told that I will have to pay and additional $1990 if I wanted to get medical samples tested. When I told my rep that this was a misleading practice and the additional surprise costs were not disclosed upfront to me - they stopped responding. I am out $2995 - and all I have to show for it is a mold air and swab test that other companies offer to perform for $300 - $600 on average. This company is making money by locking in customers to pay more after they have made their initial payment, without disclosing upfront that medical testing and all other portions of the program are charged extra. They have not yet provided me with my final report either, which they claim is included in the program. Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience with the Mold Law Group - and would advise anyone else considering paying them to hire a property damage or personal injury attorney instead and save their money.

  Your response is correct that you make it clear there are phases, but when you charged me the $2995 upfront you never let me know that this is only covered the first phase, and I will have to pay and undisclosed extra amount for these future phases. I also never received the final report from your company which you claim is included in the first phase - this is unacceptable and is simply a money grab. I need a at cost refund of the amount I paid - subtract whatever the lab testing charges were, I estimate them to be no more than $450, and refund the remaining amount from the $2995 I paid since you did not provide any other service. I will be disputing the credit card charge if this isnt done.

  Spoke to ***********************, LITIGATION CONSULTANT with the Mold Law Group. During this time I was vulnerable and this group is aware of the state you are in when you call them. Your child is sick and you have no where to turn as every attorney has deemed your case a losing situation. The apartment I reside in has mold and my son has been so sick because of this. I had my self and 2 children blood tested for toxins and it showed high levels of each mold. ****** and I talked for over an hour on the phone. I now see it was a tactic to gain my trust to continue to get money from me. I was told they would do everything needed for litigation and once its complete THEY turn the case over to an attorney and they will now take it now because all the work has been done for them (LIE). They made it seem like they would handle everything. For the money you pay you would hope that they would handle it all. They will take your last dollar. They dont care. I was told there are 3 phases and the total cost of it all would be ***** dollars. The price is endless phases keep going, I stopped paying at 2, once we got to 3 and she explained sone stuff I said to myself this is never going to end. They are going to keep taking my money, so I decided to stop right there and investigate. Phase 1: Mold Law Hires a third party company that comes out to your home to gather air quality and bacteria testing. His cost was well under $****** - and a pack out list of your items in the home. I was charged $2550.00 Phase 2: if mold is found inside your property from the air quality test in phase 1, which it will be because they doctor the documents so mold will always be present in your home so that you move on to phase 2, the Health phase. They want to sell you and all family members living in the home a urine toxin and ***** test done by Great Planes Lab at **** per person. Great Planes Lab the cost is well under ****** per person. You never speak to a doctor ever, regular in office people are ordering these tests saying you need them. There is a a doctor on the form but you dont ever speak to him, not even if you ask. I had already had the blood tests done at another lab 2 month prior but I was forced to pay this if I wanted help from the Mold Law Group. Phase 3. This is when I started to question what I was paying for and receiving and refused to move forward. They wanted to charge me for a report and then an actual diagnosis from a doctor. Then they started talking about attorneys and that I need to make phone calls to obtain one on my own but if I needed their help to have them on the phone to help. The very first time I spoke to ****** she told me what was included and for no more than *****. This would now cost me ******* more bringing my total payment up to around 14k. They prayed on my sons illness and a my vulnerability. Thid is not super legit. What you are paying for is illegal documents to prove you have mold because this is the hardest case to prove in court. Even if you can prove it you will end up spending all your money and go no where. I am a highly educated human and they got me. I am glad I did my due diligence and investigated all the results provided to me. None of the results actually matched the company performing the testing. They lie so that they can continue to make more money from you. I decided to end all communication with them and decided I no longer wanted to work with them. I wanted a refund for the deceptive business model practice. Would like a Refund of phase 1 - $2550.00 phase 2 - $5924.00 Total paid $8474.00

  We use 3rd party labs for all the tests that you referred to. We cannot manipulate them. We do not prey on people at all. We have helped many families get what is due to them. You quit working with Mold Law Group before you finished so we could not help you conclude your case summary report.   They are able to manipulate the records because the actual results from air quality testing company do not come in the exact format you show to me. I received the exact format it comes in from the actual company and the results were different. Not to mention you sent me someones results from Georgia. I wonder if ************************* in ******* would like to know that I got her results or that I am aware she is using your company. Her results are in my report. That was the first trigger to make me investigate your company. On further investigation I did find that you do mess with the findings. Its very easy to create a document that looks just like theres. It doesnt take a rocket science to create the template and have one of your employees type numbers in. I will not stop until I receive a refund,  if I do not receive some sort of compensation I will stop at nothing to let the world know who you are.

  In 6/6/23 I signed an assignment of benefits for mold law group to contact my renters insurance company to begin a claim and get paid through the renters insurance for mold exposure that made me severely ill. I was set up with a client portal and gave them health information, photos, and copied them on correspondence between me and my landlords attorney. They were to have an inspector at my house to test the unit and air quality within a week, presuming my insurance paid for it. After two weeks they stopped responding to me entirely. I checked with my insurance company and they never received any correspondence or claim filed on my behalf. In that time my landlord went into my unit and began taking steps to lessen the visible mold and dried the unit out while I sat waiting for help promised by this firm. They have not responded to me in weeks. My **** *********************** never returned my calls or email, nor did she state that our relationship was terminated. The main number pushes me to voicemail when I call and no one returns the call. Im thankful I didnt pay cash as they initially requested 3k to have these services. They potentially diminished my ability to prove mold intoxication by prolonging the time until I could hire someone to do the inspection they repeatedly promised was to occur within days. I want my benefit assignment voided and them to stop abusing people suffering from mold exposure
