    Why are they an A+ BBB? This is a scam. I just got a renewal notice after working hard a year ago and thinking I had cancelled and ended all payment. Luckily, ****** sent and alert, I called ****** customer service and they cancelled it immediately. 1. Please explain their rating 2. If so many people have the same issues for years, obviously something is wrong.

    My subscription isn't due until 2/1/2025 but Cleverbridge charged my checking account on 1/2/2025. I neither cancelled nor agreed to continue their service but whichever I choose, they should not charge a month ahead. This tells me they are desperate for customers. I have the plus and have disliked the changes since I got it, Last year the billing took place when due, 2/1/2024.. The year before I was given two free months and subscription was good until April 2024. Why did they not honor that? I did send them an e-mail informing them of this but it was obviously ignored since they complained their costs had gone up. Last year reference wasXXXXX8500. This early reference is XXXXX9773. I am not liking their billing practices or deception.

    Got a free trial for CCleaner for my pc and in trying to stop the free trial. I see that you have to go through Cleverbridge to cancel this free subscription or to stop any automatic renewals. I never received any email from them or CCleaner confirming my free trial so there is no way to stop the free trial using their subscription management page because you have to "use the confirmation email address you used to purchase CCleaner" and then "enter the 9 digit "reference number found in your confirmation email" to stop the free trial. So how do I stop the free trial if I never got a confirmation email from them in any of my 3 email addresses?! Seems like a scam! Where's the supposed new U.S. legislation requiring all companies to provide a simple click to stop a free trial or renewing subscription??

    i was charge by Cleverbridge for *************** Repair (ASR) charges for an account which I had officially cancelled and had paperwork showing it. I consider *** a fraudulent software company which loads viruses and malicious software into the registry which is difficult to remove. I was also charged a monthly fee then started receiving large bills of $69.00 every month for no reason. Every call to ASR did nothing and often was transferred to phone with no answers and no VM. Cleverbridge took on this company and is allowing it to "re-open" closed accounts to start charging. Although it appears to you they are handling the complaints they ARE NOT VETTING the companies they take on as partners. I see in comments about CCleaner which I used in 2021 but canceled. It started to charge me as well. These software companies are keeping our credit cards and using at their will. When we block them from our card they charge through a company like Cleverbridge. They should own part of this as they "take on" the companies. People need more support from the BBB as how many are being charged without knowing it?

    Received a charge for 47 dollars that I did not recognize. I went to the site to try and determine what this was and I could not log in. If I purchased something how can I not log in and find out what it is? It is yet ANOTHER ONE of those online subscriptions that you get billed for when people STEAL your accounts. Ridiculous. Get a job scammers. I have a great bank that supports scammers like you. Got my money back and you can't bill that card again. I am going to stop shopping online.

    My charge account has charges from an account I stopped in 2022 with CCLEANER and I am still receiving these charges under a different name Cleverbridge. It is impossible to recover your lost money or cancel your account. Cancel your charge card and have a new one sent. This company is bad news. I do not think this company deserves a star but they will not accept without a star.

    I got up this morning and noticed money taken out of my account for a service, ccleaner, which I have an active account. I did not received an email from ************* but they were mentioned on the response email I got. I looked at my existing ccleaner account which is active and good until May 2025. What the heck is going on here???

    they were not given permission to bill my credit card for a renewal. They just went ahead and did it. I am waiting to see if i get a refund, I don't even have this company as a virus protection plan on my computer.

    I was billed for a subscription renewal for a product after I submitted a cancellation request via a glitchy link. I reached out to our rep for the software I was trying to cancel and she claimed that I needed to submit a letter to cancel 30 days before the renewal date. So why is there a cancellation link accessible on your website (that clearly doesn't work)? And where was the email notice before the 30 days that you said you would send so I didn't miss that deadline? And here's where things get really shady. I have reached out repeatedly to the rep since this initial conversation where she was going to look into a refund and she has completely ignored me. So I came here a few weeks ago to see if other people have similar issues and there were dozens of similar reviews. In my latest attempt to get a respond from the rep, I shared the link to the reviews and noted that I'm not the only one who is dealing with these shady business practices and now, all the reviews are GONE. Completely wiped clean and a note on their profile to contact them about billing issues instead of leaving a review. I have tried to contact them and they are ignoring me. I demand a refund for a subscription I am not going to use! That's thousands of dollars to purchase literally nothing.
