  I hired ***** ******* who says her business is Avant Garde Cleaning Services in Lexington, Kentucky. We agreed on $185 for her to deep clean 6 rooms in my house. I specifically requested a chemical wipe down of ALL walls in those rooms. All surfaces were to be dusted and/or wiped down and 4 of those 6 rooms did not have carpeting so the floors were to be cleaned in full. Not just swept. I told her it was approximately half of my 1847 square foot house. This is important later as she tried to lie in the court of public opinion in an attempt to make me look like I deceived her. She said I represented that it was 900 square feet but was in reality much more. In reality it is 750 square feet. I pointed out before she left that MANY shelves and surfaces had not been dusted or cleaned. She said that normally she was supposed to have requested that I remove things from shelves to be cleaned but she forgot to inform me so she would do me that "favor" now. She then cleaned one of four kitchen shelves and one of 3 surfaces in the bedroom. She had not wiped down ANY of the walls in the entire house. Nothing had been moved away from the walls so this could have been done and there were still cob webs on the walls. She complained that she had to change her mop water 5 times but obviously did not as the entire house smells like dirty mop water now. She complained that the baseboards were dirty. This is why I PAID her to do a deep clean. I have made several offers to mitigate this situation by text but she has not responded. I am trying to resolve this without having to take her to small claims court. I have had to redo EVERYTHING she did as I was afraid of hygiene issues. I am 59 and disabled. I hired her to do this because I knew doing it myself will cause severe pain which it has. i cannot afford to be scammed so I am filing this complaint. I have all of the texts between her and I as well as before and after pictures. How do I send these to you?

  I contacted her by message on the ********* *** app. She gave me the name of the business but because the nature of the business is in home service I did not go there. She claims to be the owner. Her name is ***** ******* and she sent me what she said is her "work cell phone number"  it is *****  ********* We had several conversations through that number. I have no idea how to go about verifying  who that number belongs to but she says she is the owner of Avant Garde Cleaning Service.  

  Please tell me what I can do next to try to resolve this matter

  Good afternoon,

  I found a correct address for Avant Garde Cleaning. I am sure this is it as it lists the woman who came to my house to do this cleaning service as the owner
