Today, January 31, 2025 I called ************** because it is the last day to register for health insurance coverage where no days will skipped. I waited 20 minutes on hold before they answered. When she answered, there was confusion about what I was asking so she got very angry at me and started to yell. I asked to speak to someone else who could help me and she would not transfer me to someone else. Instead, she hung up on me. I then called back and waited on the phone for another 25 minutes. The person who answered was also not able to answer my question fully. He gave me unclear answers. I also asked him if I could speak to someone else who could answer my questions clearly since this was an important issue regarding my health. I am almost certain that this person also hung up on me. I am left not being able to address my health insurance concerns today and today is the last day to get coverage for 2025. I just need definite answers.

I received a 1095-A form from the market Place, I receive Medicaid and did not apply or use the market place to my knowledge at any time, I used my medicade. The agent at the market place told me I signed up in 2023 for a 5 year automatic renewal,I was signed up by an agent **** ******** his ID Number is ******** but my 1095-A form shows May until December of the year 2024. I spoke with my medicaid worker today 1/24/2025 and she stated this has happened to other receipents. I need your assistance in making the Market Place void the 1095-A and helping others with a similar situation. My Medicaid case worked gave me my forms showing where I have received medicaid since 12/1/2024 until present, I put below a Dollar amount the business said the state paid for me.

I acquired insurance through ****************************** last year when I became unemployed. When I became re-employed in October I contacted ********* ***** my carrier, and they transferred me to Marketplace where I explained again that I needed to cancel effective October 31, 2024. I was told the policy would cancel and I would receive confirmation in the mail. Mid November I received a policy invoice and repeated the process above. Once again I was informed cancellation would process and I'd receive confirmation by mail. End of November I received a late notice... rinse and repeat above, though this time I requested and was told I had been transferred to, a supervisor. December 6 I received ANOTHER premium invoice. I called Marketplace directly, spent 22 minutes spelling my name for the rep, in order to be transferred to a supervisor. I was told the exact same thing again and this time, the policy was cancelled. EXCEPT it was cancelled with a termination date of 12/06 instead of 10/31, so I am still receiving "overdue premium invoices" for coverage in November and beginning of December. The first person I spoke to today told me that the information I was given was incorrect and the rep "should have..." and that I "should have checked my policy" and that the people before "didn't know how to do it right". When I said their lack of training should not cost me almost $500, she offered to transfer me to a supervisor. THIS supervisor, that I spoke to today, not only informed me that I was STILL ENROLLED for 2025, also just repeatedly repeated that the policy cancelled on 12/06. I had Employer Provided Coverage as of 11/01. I cancelled this policy effective 10/31. The employees at Marketplace either do not know their jobs, how to do them, or simply don't care. At least 2 of every 3 representatives I speak to are either chewing in my ear, can't spell or are just plain rude. 3 out of every 3 have been inept, incompetent and truly just don't care.
