Ms. ****** was enrolled into our star service membership by mistake. This is a recurring service we offer all customers at a monthly charge. Right now we are still investigating how this oversight happened so we can better prevent it going forward. Ms. ****** was refunded,

Paid for a waterline installation and water heater repair last Monday. The technician completed the work but damaged our living room wall when installing the waterline. He also cut a whole in our laundry room ceiling to access the water heater but didn't seal said hole afterwards.

ACCUTEMP July 27, 2022 Application #XXXXXXXXXX At 7:15am was told that company reps had been "dispatched.' 2 guys, ****** team" arrived at 8am, parked in driveway. They quickly began work & lined our floor with a drop cloth. A third guy arrived van & assisted the work for appx 1.5 hours. All persons wore AccuTemp attire. Equipment from the attic was removed in parts, various pieces: the green box (coils), the drip pan, other flat pieces (doors or vents), lots of insulation & some covered metal pieces with installation. At some point, an orange circular plastic wire balloon was installed - cool attic. When I asked what happens to discarded items from customer homes, I was told that AccuTemp had a salvage company partner. I took pics of items removed and replacements. Asked installer to place the new condenser on its platform. The installer responded that it was an "eye sore" & he preferred not to. Grudgingly in the rain, once wires were disconnect, both installers and myself, placed the support platform under new compressor. Ironic since humidity and rainwater is one reason for decay of old one. Circle thermostat removed, told worker to replace it. He said it could "not be used with new equipment. I could hardly see the numbers, letters on the digital screen so I knew it would be even more of an issue for my Mom. Had already addresses this issue with sales rep, Preston. Another problem, black plastic, wiring among debris. We inquired, told that it was the replacement for metal pipes in attic. Informed about AccuTemp "protocol" was to remove 5 feet of pipe, standard, b/c plastic is "easy" "malleable", "less heavy" "reliable than metal." We are furious.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/08/16) */ The customer reached out to us directly with her concerns. We were able to find and install a thermostat comparable to their original that we removed. As for the ductwork, we first attempted to explain that the ductwork installed in the attic was done at no additional cost, was superior to what was removed and used best installation practices and materials. The customer still demanded her original ductwork re-installed. Due to the poor insulation quality and age of the old rigid duct that we removed, we opted to replace the new wire helix duct that we installed and replace with new rigid ducting. The customer was satisfied with the modifications and her installation, even calling to thank the salesperson for the quality of service. It is our desire to provide Five Star Service to each and every person we encounter, and I believe we were able to achieve that level of service for this customer. We have used this example to coach our team to provide better service in the future as well. Consumer Response /* (2000, 10, 2022/08/17) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) RE: AccuTemp Service Corp, N. Harco Drive, Baton Rouge,LA In July 2022 we commissioned AccuTemps to perform HVAC work at our home. Once the work was completed, we discovered a few discrepancies in regard to our chosen option. We brought this to the attention of the company's management and local advocacy agencies. After careful listening and evaluation of the matter, the manager, ******, and salesman, ******** offered an apology and requested the opportunity to make corrections. The very next day installers were sent our home and promptly implemented the necessary improvements. These men did a thorough job and we are very pleased. Hats off to ****** (manager), ******* ******* (Design Consultant/sales rep), ****** Team'" and the two *******'s (installers). Thank you, ******* and ******** CC: Better Business Complaints #XXXXXXXX, #XXXXXXXXXX LA State Licensing Board for Contractors LA Dept of Justice, Consumer Dispute,Case ID #XXXXXX

Date of transaction: 7/10/2021 Description: Falsely charging me for work that was not completed. Was told they were honoring previous quotes and they actually created a new one. Changed the pricing and lied on the new invoice saying they completed work that was not performed. I signed for them to complete the service unaware that the electrician change my quote to something else because verbally told me they were honoring the previous quote.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/14) */ **** needed the details on the job invoice to match the tasks approved by her insurance. Our electrician service manager was able to add better detail on the invoice and resent it to her. She also needed two separate invoices for the same visit in order for her insurance to properly fund her claim. This is not something we typically do, but we made this accommodation for her. While the pricing for the work was correct, we also gave her a partial refund of $308 for her trouble. At this time, both parties consider the matter resolved.

This company came out and charged me for a service two weeks ago and billed my credit card without a receipt. I have been calling two three times a day and have gotten nothing resolved because everyone who answer the phone works from home. I'm starting to think this company charged my card but didn't do the work because the card had been on my account from the previous service
