As with some other customers I would give them less than 1 star if I could. I paid $2200.00 for a complete system cleaning in November 2024. This service included removal of blower motors and cleaning of cage blowers along with other items. Now, today I have 2 of my 4 units that the blower motors are not working. Technician says they must be replaced to the tune of $1800+. I suggested that maybe the service they did on the units caused the motors to fail. This is emphasized by the fact that one of the blower motors was left without screws holding it in. Unit was making a noise so I called and they came out and found missing screws. A week later one of the units was making a serious humming noise. I called they came and found a service panel door left open, causing the noise. Now the first time we need heat the blowers don’t work. There was no consideration in their replacement price for the money we had spent and the possibility that their tampering caused damage to the units. Sure seems strange to me. Accutemp is designed to maximize profits for the company with no consideration for customers. Stay away from these folks, they will bleed you dry.

The service teams provide consistent quality assurance, are courteous and very knowledgeable. Accutemp does back their work and are a very responsive company. ***** ***** was fast, professional, and courteous--a hallmark of this company. On another note, be prepared to pay for this high quality with a premium price. Unlike the past, you are not able to price service calls by the hour and if you do, well...The company has a high overhead and it shows with its rapid response and great communication tools. Some folks could be easily priced out of their market. Like most things today, there is little transparency as to how service prices are set. Far beyond my capability to ascertain how this market works and I do know that I am paying for well-trained service and a company that has a lot of pride in its public presentation and is definitely not your "mom and pop operation." It took a half hour to change both parts and I was charged over $700. I was initially quoted over $900 and I balked so they did reduce a little bit. The high prices are for highly specialized training I was told. Also, I was charged a $69 service call to assess the problem and I was originally told when I signed on with this company, that if they performed the repairs, those fees would be waived. I will follow up but it is hard "getting to the right person" and their gatekeepers are well-trained to field their calls and want to know why you are calling for a particular person. I intend to pursue the $69 charge but it gets very tiring just trying to manage my budget and much less someone else's! Stay turned and we'll see if anyone reads this or cares. The sales rep who sold me the system doesn't, but he did give me a Yeti when I wrote a check for $15,000 for the initial sale.

I'd give Accutemp less than 1 star rating, if I could. Their "5 Star Service" is most likely from 5 dying stars. Several times now I've been disappointed. I actually believe I would have been better off doing NO maintenance, than ever had someone come out in the first place. Keep in mind that these are all separate occurrences... I've had them forget to put the AC back together, leave brand new components (still in the box) behind without ever attaching them to the system, and did not tell me of leaks in the system until it was too late and the AC stopped working... and the list goes on. I just paid $1305 for 4lbs of R22, some dye, and the AC is still not working. Go figure. Serves me right for giving them another chance. The ONLY thing they have not forgotten to do was charge me an exorbitant price for shoddy work. Do yourself a favor and do NOT go with this company.

From my experience, AccuTemp is a marginal business. Every time they have sent out someone for what should be a routine maintenance, they always try to "upscale" you into buying rubbish you do not need. I decided to give them a try, since they were servicing my next door neighbor. After I contracted them to regularly service our HVAC, I found out they tried to tell him he needed a completely new condenser/compressor unit, when later he called out another tech, who fixed his problem with some overdue routine service. Upon the routine check last year, their A/C guy pressured me into buying a "soft-start" kit for my A/C. Our A/C was not acting quite right this spring, so I called them up, and I found out that I was due for routine maintenance, although they had not called me. So we had him come out and he sold me on another $200.00 gadget as well as the routine maintenance. Meanwhile, the unit does not seem to be doing any better. Previously, one tech tried to sell me the complete replacement of the HVAC's condensate drain pan because of superficial rust. I had to have them make an additional service calls before they admitted the expensive replacement was not necessary. To make matters worse, in our typical service calls, you do not normally see the same person twice. So far, in typical service calls their people are new to the area, as well as new to us, which suggests they have difficulty getting local, reliable, dependable people. Meantime, since they advertised that they serviced emergency generators, I had their sales rep come out and quote us an installation. Since they told me that they serviced the two major brands, so when they called I told them I wanted the second one. I turns out, the quote I got which was emailed, was for the wrong one. So when I tried to set it up to see their sales rep in order to give me a correct quotation, with the correct name brand in it, his manager called me and abruptly terminated our service contract with them.

AccuTemp installed two new HVAC systems and completed maintenance for me. They also completed electrical work. We had an awesome experience with each technician. They stayed late to ensure the project was completed and provided great customer service. We recommend them to family and friends and continue to use their services.

Tech came to replace 2 parts on water heater, covered by warranty. So our bill for 1 hour and 15ish minutes of work ( includes about 4 trips to truck) was $698.75 ! We also agreed to sign for work, but did not receive an invoice. Called office for one and were told it would take 24 hours. Who charges $600.00 /hr for labor??????

I requested an estimate on installing a tankless electric water heater to replace an electric water heater. I knew more about the installation than the individual that came out to give me an estimate. He wanted to give me an estimate of a "whole house" tankless water heater vs. determining the size needed for a one bedroom condo. In addition, he did not know whether the electric service was adequate for installation. I became frustrated with his lack of knowledge and asked him to leave, but paid him for his service call. In the invoice he issued the next day to me by email, he stated that I yelled at him, which is not true. I did become frustrated and told him to leave before I lost my temper. I phoned the company on two different days to complain, but the service manager never did return my phone call. I am unhappy with the lack of knowledge of the service individual and the lack of a return phone call to my complaint.

I hired Accutemp to come and unplug my washer drain pipe. The young man told me that my drain pipe needed to lazered due to a clog. He then told me that my pipe was cracked and it would have to be replaced which meant digging up the floor. I paid him 910 dollars because of diagnostic that I was given. I contacted my home warranty for payment assistance at that time they contacted another plumbing company named Already construction. The Already construction was able to unplug my drain and found my pipe was not cracked. I contacted Accutemp and requested a at least a partial refund but I was denied because they showed up and pretended to treat my drain pipe.
