Installation of vinyl privacy fence this business advertises "full-service remodeling company. Ingram services is a complete outdoor remodeling company, specializing in decks, patios and fences." yet his work is terrible! not only did he not know how to install a fence, but he failed to show up to correct. within 1 day the fence began falling apart! Randy (owner) also took some of my materials that I had purchased and provided for the installation!

On August 13, 2022, we signed a contract with Randy I***** of Ingram Services to begin work on the construction of a screened in deck and privacy fence for our home. The contracted cost of the project was $37,104. We've paid $18,552 to date. We were told the project would be complete in about 3 weeks. On October 24th, holes were dug to begin the work on the deck. We expected the entire project, the deck and fence, to be completed on or around November 14, 2022. Since the start of the project, there were several days when workers didn't show up or worked only a few hours a day. We experienced other issues like tire tracks through our neighbor's yard (which was repaired and seeded) and trash and cigarette butts left on our property by the workers. When it started getting close to the date we expected completion, we contacted Randy to inquire about completion since we were having family for Thanksgiving. Randy informed my husband that the deck would be complete by Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving and Christmas have come and gone. As of today, January 13, 2023, the deck is still not complete. When we last inquired about the completion of the deck on 12/27/22, Randy responded on 12/30/22 that he needed a week to get things back on schedule. In a text, he explained that someone else he is doing work for owes him money and he needed that money to finish our project. Our inquiry was the 4th time in a little over a month that we asked, but were not given a date of completion. The communication around our project has been poor at best. The amount of time and lack of integrity is unacceptable. We received updates only after we inquired and most times the response did not happen on the same day of the inquiry. No one has worked on our deck now for more than 2 weeks. We would like to forego any further work with Ingram Services. We would like for Ingram Services to remove their tools from our property and release us from the contract to complete the project.

March 18, 2022 we signed a contract to enclose our deck and gave him a deposit of $6,525.00. Start date was May 13-June 2, 2022. They didn't start until October 4 due to a situation with our pool. 3 crew members showed up. Worked 2 hours. So far, for 5 weeks they've only removed screens, railings, pulled up flooring, layed tongue and groove flooring, insulated knee walls and placing bead boards. Put up siding on outer knee wall. Might I add, the carpentry work is poor. Knee boards are bowing, nails not fully punched in, siding is flowing in both directions and Azex is cut in unusual craftsmanship. I've called and texted Randy on numerous occasions to discuss issues. He doesn't return calls, can't leave a message and rarely responds to text. On October 25, I blocked my # and called him. He answered and cussed me out with very vulgar profanity and called me horrible names. The work done so far does not warrant our deposit. My deck has been wrapped in plastic since October 13. They work ridiculous hours ranging from 2 hrs to 5 hrs a day, woking 1-3 days a week. I even helped them by cleaning up, provided food, drinks and rain gear. I've kept details of days and hours worked. They worked a total of 48.5 hours in 5 weeks. Randy never came by to inspect the work. In fact the guys didn't even know about the Ezee breeze system to be installed. On November 15, 2022, I fired him and gave him 2 weeks to provide me with an itemized breakdown for the cost of materials as we want a refund! As of today, November 30th we have not received anything. We truly don't believe (after measuring) in March that he did not order the system. If he did, we would have paid for materials and had a reputable company install. This guy is a scammer and his license should be revoked!

I filed a complaint against Ingram Services on November 30. The new contractor I hired said all construction done by Ingram Services needs to be taken down and redone due to poor construction. The flooring should have been placed using screws rather than nails due to it being an outside decking. Therefore I'm asking for a full refund.
