My car broke down break on 11/20/24. After parking and turning my car off, a shift to park message appeared on my information center and a constant beep was alarming. I put on the emergency brake and attempted to exit my car. When I did so all the locks flew up and the beeping became twice as fast. After 10 more minutes I finally got it to stop. I went to the gas station and the same thing happened. Then I went to the dealership and it happened again. The part needed to fix my car is on backorder. This is the 4th time this has happened My car has been at the dealership for 50 days now! It has ****** miles on it. I was informed that my warranty was now into the extended warranty and a rental car would only be available for 10 days with me being responsible for the tax. I kept the car for 10 additional days and was to pay $700 or $62 per day. In the extended warranty it states that they only reimburse $35 per day for the first 10 days, so I questioned the pricing. After 2 hours at the dealership, it was finally agreed to cut the cost of the rental in a half so it would be $350. When they brought the statement out it had $700 on it. After much debating I paid for the rental car and my repairs on the spot while everybody involved was in agreement on my total bill to avoid any confusion ******** part still has not arrived. I was told that it would be here the first week in January. It is now 1/8 and my part still has not arrived. It is now 50 days since my car has been at the dealership. They are refusing to give me a rental car free of charge even though this is unusually long period of time to repair a car. If I would have kept the rental until today, I would have already spent $2480 and counting. After much research the shift to park issue has been known by ** as early at 2017. There are many lawsuits for this and they still have not corrected the problem. I just wonder if this is why there are no parts available for the shift to park issue?

***************** is waiting on a nationally backordered part from Chevrolet. We do not have an estimated delivery date for the part, and we do not have any alternative repairs available. We are unable to provide a loaner vehicle. While we understand Ms. ***** frustration, there is nothing that the Dealership can do.

I am rejecting this response because: This is unfair and unjust.
