I purchased already card from *************** while flying to ******************************* I put $120 on my card and I purchase a return ticket but when I get to Central mango I canceled the return ticket but never got the money back now I'm hungry at the airport I haven't ate in 3 days and I can't go anywhere I'm stuck at the airport....The last four digits of my card is 6435Business response

ReadyCard does not handle refunds directly nor do we hold them. If the airline refunded the funds, they would go back to the card ending in 6435. In order to further assist, we will need the last 8 digits of your card and when you purchased it.

I purchased a ready card at an airport because they didnt accept cash. I put 160 on there and used it successfully at the airport. Now I have 125 balance and cannot use the card anywhere. Its not accepted anywhere and Im frustrated because that money is gone now.Business response

Hi, I initially purchased the Ready card because the amusement center I visited did not accept cash as payment. However, I quickly realized that the card did not meet my needs with having to pay the monthly fee and that I would prefer to close my account altogether. Thank you!Business response

We apologize for any misunderstanding. ReadyCards are not refundable but can be used anywhere **** or Mastercard is accepted. Once the funds are used completely the card automatically closes. The fees do not apply to your card unless you do not use the funds on the card for 90 days. We do not charge you after the card reaches $0.00. I was forced to purchase a ready card with cash at a concert venue where they didn't accept cash for any purchases. I was able to use the card at the venue and it had a remaining balance when I left. I tried multiple times to use it after leaving the venue and it was always declined. I tried entering the info online to see why it was being declined and it stated it "had a problem bringing up that card number". I have the card, I feel like I had no choice but to purchase this card with my cash and then I was unable to use it anywhere else when I was told I would be able to use it "just like a debit card". In reading other reviews I see not only is there monthly inactivity fees but also an expiration date which seems unfair, money you put on a card should not "expire". You also should not be charged fees for a card you are forced to purchase to even buy water in a venue. It should be clear when you are purchasing that the card has an expiration and or fees.Business response

Greetings,
We have investigated the card ending in ***** and have found that the balance is $0.00 and has automatically closed. We have provided a separate email to you containing the complete transaction statement summary for your Readycard so you can access the entire history. All of the funds on that card have been spent and the only fee was a $0.55 dormancy fee after not using the card for 3 months.
We have also investigated the second ReadyCARD but are unable to locate it without additional information provided to us. Can you confirm how much money was loaded onto the second ReadyCARD that is currently lost? We can then investigate further and see if we can locate and see if there are additional funds on that card that we can send you.

I purchased a ReadyCard at ********* in July 2022, where they do not accept cash, and the ReadyCard is the only way to convert cash to card. I only used it once, and then was unable to make a **** game this summer, and I've realized now that the balance on the account is zero because of the inactivity fee. I would like the balance on this card refunded and the inactivity fee reversed. I should not be penalized, as this was the only way to use cash at the field. Like a gift card, this cash card should never lose value. Thank you for you attention to this matter.Business response

On 11/08/2022, my ********************************************************************** order to purchase a movie ticket. The transaction on the date of purchase was rejected. He tried to use it again at a restaurant, and again the transaction was rejected. I called ReadyCARD for assistance and was told that there was nothing that they would do. The card was now beyond 92 consecutive days since he had added money to it and it was being debited $3.95 per month.Business response

On June 9th. RCC was able to locate the card ending in **** and reverse the inactivity fee.

We purchased multiple cards at cedar point because they claimed there were no fees and didnt expire until July ****. However when we went to use them today, all the cards only have 5 dollars remaining because a dormancy fee is charged every month, but *********** isnt even open over the winter months. So now Im out hundreds of dollars in dormancy fees. Do not purchase these from *********** unless you plan to use immediately. Total scam.Business response

Hi. On 18th June 2021, I purchased a Ready Card at a kiosk at ********************, *******. I have been out of the country since then. The number of the card is ****************. I am unable to check my balance and the automated voice that answers your phone says that the card is not registered in the system. I have not been able to receive my Disability moneys on my card through the Ready Credit Corp. I have spoken to ****************************** they have stated that the moneys was deposited on 9-2-22. I spoke to ********* said the same thing the moneys was deposited on 9-2-22, but when i speak to the Ready Card people they have no answers for me. they just say that they dont see anything pending. I cant speak to no one in their so called IT team or Tech support. I need my money i am a 67 year old senior i have multiple mental health issues and physical health issues. i also have mobility issues. I feel so helpless i need help and my money ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!Business response

Purchased 2 cards at Cedar Point in ********, ** on 6/14/2022 because the entire park is cash free. The cards were loaded with roughly $42 and $100. The cards worked in the park but so far any transactions outside the park are declined. If I try to check the balance, register the card online I get "The information you have entered does not match a card on record or may not be active. Please try again." First, I want to apologize for the inconvenience you experienced when trying to use your card in making purchases outside the park only to be hit with declines. During the time you were trying to make purchases with your card, Mastercard had an outage causing declines when trying to make purchases at the registers or online. Mastercard performed an emergency change Saturday evening June 18th and cards started working again.
Your cards should be working again. If not, please contact me directly at ************ and ask for *****.
