Their insurer H32303235**303035**32H () damaged my vehicle and I am getting the run around and nothing is being resolved. They claim they do not know where the oil went, which I have explained the situation and they have all the info from me and the shop. They don**;t call me back and they don**;t give me any info. They have all the info they need. The one I have been working with is ***** *********. This is all in reference to my Jeep, in which they had it for 2 months now. They worked on it previously, they did not s**** the oil cap for the oil pan on right and caused my engine to stop while I was on the interstate. They brought it back to the shop and there it has remained since December 2nd.Business response

My family, had a family owed business and used Federated Insurance and had a policy on 2 trucks. I started an LLC and I got liability and workers comp insurance with Federated starting January 1 of this year. My families business sold in April and I moved the 2 business trucks from my families policy to my policy. When I got the bill in May, the truck insurance was almost double from the families business policy. They said when you change policies they can charge whatever they want. They would not work with me on reducing it, so on May 30th, we set up a July 1st cancelation date. I also asked them what I owed so I could leave in good standing with them. They told me ****** (liability, workers comp and 2 months truck insurance), which I paid. Now in July, I received a bill for ********. I know I owe a month of insurance and want to pay what I owe. However, my figures come up to around $600.00 for a month of premiums. The bill says "earned premium" is owed. I have called the company 7 or 8 times and talked to various people and no one can specifically give me details for these amounts. I was also told, that cancelation fees are charged industry wide. I have checked with another insurance company and it is not industry wide.I know I owe a month's premium, but I am not willing to pay excessive cancelation fees.Initial Complaint

I was injured on the job 12/28/2023 when I was assaulted by a co-worker. I was off work for a month. I actually went back to work before my doctor authorized, because this dishonest company never paid my lost wages. I needed to have some form of income. It appears I will need to hire an attorney.Business response

I had insure my business equipment with this company, one of my printers ink went bad and exploded, I file a claim all was going great. They told me they needed a tech to see the printer and give a diagnostic, the tech was charging us ***** Federated told us they will reimburse the money. We had explained to Federated agent all that was wrong, we took pictures videos, and they knew since beginning of the claim that they wont covered it, why they made us spent all that money. They did not cover the printer and they did not reimburse us the expense we had with the tech when they knew from us exactly what the tech sent them.. Very irresponsible, making others spend money promising they will cover it when all they tried was to wipe their hands. Bunch of thieves...Dont bother to do business with them, **** and unprofessional insurances are for solutions not to add the client more burden.Business response

When we first signed up, they were great & we had a pleasant experience with them.But in the past couple of years, after our initial rep left, they have been disorganized, non responsive and extremely incompetent with responses and help. Despite all this, we renewed last year, even though, no one came or followed up. This year again, i had lots of trouble getting someone to service me - they failed on all levels. Anyhow, they informed me that they had a new rep, who reached out to us and seemed like he knew what he was doing. He called us to make an appointment to renew the policy and then a few days later said that they can't renew us and that our insurance will be valid until the end of the month. I asked him for an explanation and he had none - we have always paid on time and are good customer sos this caught me off guard. Anyhow, I come to find out that our policy canceled on the 7th of July and not at the end of the month so I was left with my landlords getting upset because they got a cancelation of insurance, my vehicles were not insured - this caused me so much stress that I ended up in the hospital. I called Federated and their managers, NO ONE called back with an apology or explanation. I would be weary of doing business with them because they can leave you stranded and really don't care about giving any explanation. *************************** was my sales rep who really is incompetent and had no idea what was going on - just gave us all the wrong information which ended up costing us lots of money, time and stress. After this happened, he completely turned his back on us and provided no help or assistance. Just very disappointing. I would definitely stay away from these guys, there are better insurance companies out there! We reached out to another when this happened and they stepped in to help us and get us taken care of. I definitely don't recommend them and urge everyone to avoid them at all costs.Business response

This has been an absolute nightmare. We were in an accident that was very obviously the other driver's fault, and he was insured by this company. My husband's car was totalled and I had to spend the night in the hospital being monitored because I was just short of being 30 weeks pregnant. It's been over a month and a half since then, and we're still dealing with this claim! An agent called my sister and was badgering her about accepting a settlement before she even knew what it was. My husband's settlement and that of our now-18-month toddler came through, but we had to keep following up to get them. With every step we've had to stay on top because otherwise the process wouldn't move forward. Even though it was the other driver's fault they wouldn't offer us a rental until after they decided our car was a total loss, and it took at least a week for them to tow it, but it wasn't deemed a total loss at the time, so they wouldn't accept the title. We finally got a rental, but had to exchange it because there was a bad tire, and we were told that it happened to be due that day, but no one had bothered to inform us! We had to pay out of pocket for two days because my husband needed to get to work. When we were finally asked to send in the title, my husband received an email almost a week after doing so, saying that the title had not been received, but the other paperwork sent with it had. My husband immediately called the agent now over our claim, and he simply didn't care and just blamed *** and refused to help us further, even after it was confirmed on camera that everything was immediately sent. Through no fault of ours my husband has been without a car for a month and a half, he's having to drive my car all the time, which leaves me home and pregnant (with early labor scares) with our toddler and no transportation, and I could go into labor any day! And FMI couldn't care less as long as they don't have to pay out for an accident that was their client's fault!Business response

Their agent doesn't pick up phone and sign off very early(12:30pm). My car had an accident and need to be towed. I couldnt contact them for whole two days and I was thrown on the highway during the waiting time. Now it has been two days I still dont have any response from them. Incredibly not responsible. Dont use this insurance, they dont do their work.Business response

This company insures POMP's Tire, who did a negligible repair. I have dealt with many insurance companies but this one is by far the worst. First off, I have paid for all my own repairs, which caused me to drain my bank account. They refused to pay for the first rental that I ended up with a $1500 dollar bill. When they finally did set up a rental for us, I told them Monday it needed to be extended on Monday 4/10 till Friday of this week and they are refusing because I rejected their s*** offers of a settlement. ********************* is the most unprofessional person I have ever met, his comments such as " It's not our fault you can't drive and ran off the road", You should have been able to go buy a car, I know for a fact you should have bought one because of your business revenue.", It's stupid you don't know how to mitigate your own damages. WELL, the negligence was due to the company he insures, they didn't tighten our lug nuts and on the highway the tire was hanging on the hub by one lug nut. The way I have been treated the things that have been said, were uncalled for an very unprofessional. Now this company is bullying me into a settlement by refusing to continue to pay for the rental any further because I rejected their settlement offer.Business response

Vehicle was stolen from the body shop. The insurer, Federate, is not processing the claim efficiently; I have been told by two parties ( the manager of body shop -******************************, as well as my insurance agent- Progressive, who confirmed independently and directly, the body shop sent the insurer video surveillance footage of the theft. This footage, per insurer, is necessary to process claim and provide me with a loaner vehicle and reimbursement.Business response

I took on this company as my insurance provider for my commercial business owners policy, my building burned due to a faulty electrical system in a vehicle in my auto repair shop. In that policy I had loss of wages, loss if income, amongst other things. Inside the shop was also one of my wreckers which was a total loss. I have reached out to my adjuster numerous times, and all I keep getting is the reply, we are still waiting on reports when he does reply. It has been 45 days to the date and I have had to dismiss all my employees, and fixing to lose my land due to not being able to move forward and loss of everything to conduct my business. When I pay a ****** dollar a year premium, I would expect to receive a more prompt response in claims service.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
I have still yet to receive settlement or timely responses so them"responding directly to the complaintant" is about as as useful as Bidens election.
