    I purchased an entertainment center from them on Oct. 3, 2023. I waited and was told it would be in on Nov. 6, then Dec. 7 before I received it. I called them today and they told me it would be here on Dec. 30th. I requested a refund and they said they can't give me a refund. They had me sign a paper for proof of purchase. They said they can't give me a refund since I signed the paper and the product has to be marked as discontinued for me to get my refund. I ordered coffee tables from them before and they sat there for 2 weeks and they didn't tell me about. I could go years without getting my refund. I would like a refund on the entertainment center.

    This customer was informed at the time of purchase that the items she was ordering did not have good availability and that it would likely take a long time for them to come in and was encouraged to make another choice and go with a different product but she insisted that these particular items were what she wanted. The customer signed a special order policy which clearly states in it that a 50% NON REFUNDABLE deposit/down payment  before the order can be placed. It also states that cancellations will not be accepted and that there will be no refunds except in the case of manufacturers defects. It goes on to tell that vendor delivery times vary and that Bullock Furniture is only provided ESTIMATED delivery dates, the date is NOT guaranteed, and that it is subject to change. It also tells that Bullock Furniture is not responsible for manufacture's delays and that NO REFUNDS ARE ALLOWED on special order merchandise due to the manufacture's delivery time.  I have attached a copy of this special order policy signed by the customer.

    I am rejecting this response because: First things first no one ever told me about the availability of the entertainment being poor in yall getting it yall told me about 4-6 weeks and yall would have it! No ******* never once tried to make me change my mind or look at something different!!! I have witnesses to state that! The fact that they can’t give me my money back on something I wanted but they are beating around the bush to get it I understand about them being stuck with something that I ordered IF IT WAS ON ITS WAY BUT IT ISNT YALL WOULDNT BE STUCK WITH IT! Y’all could easily cancel the order since the warehouse doesn’t have it yall don’t have it and I don’t have it which means I should get a refund there is a certain time frame for you guys to refund me if I dont have the merchandise at all which it should have been in in NOV and it isn’t therefore refund policy or not yall will still have to refund me my money if I don’t have it within a certain time frame to get me my merchandise yall have been scamming people for years and have done this to tons of people and it’s sad that people even do business with you guys anymore and The fact that yall said before yall could refund me my money that it would have to go “discontinued” not at all how that works!! talked to ******* on dec 5,2023 and she stated that it would be here by the end of the week that they where trying to schedule a truck to get it down here cause they pulled it from another warehouse apparently?! But today I called on 12/7 and they told me that they haven’t gotten and truck scheduled and still don’t know when it will be here!! Do yall think if someone else ordered something and yall kept giving them different dates and then saying oh it can change you don’t think that someone will want there refund? If it isn’t here within the time frame you gave them? BTW I asked for the paper I signed to be sent to me being it won’t load for me to see anything it says “error”! I’d appreciate it if you could sent me that cause the only thing I have is a receipt with what I paid and what I owed it says nothing about yall not being able to refund me! Refunding and canceling a order was never talked about at all between the employee and myself!

    The customer is more than welcome to come up and get a copy of the signed special order policy that was signed. It was sent to her phone, I am not sure why she can't open it.

    If you are looking to buy new furniture of any kind I most definitely do not recommend Bullock Furniture & Home Decor of Paragould. We bought a couple items through them. First a mattress which we had to replace within 6-8 months of purchase because it was already breaking down. I can’t fault them for that completely because we did not call to see if they would make it right. We just figured that’s on us because we went to them for cheaper options and you get what you pay for. Lesson learned. Second and most recent we bought a recliner in April. It was broken within 3 days of purchase. The back wood piece snapped, and the “mechanism” underneath the chair was warped and would not rock or recline at all. The kids had not even been in the chair or jumping in it or anything. Just normal sitting down and propping up our feet since I was on bedrest at the time. Basil tried to fix it himself and the metal underneath was so flimsy that it was comparable to cheap thin sheet metal. We were impressed at first because they said they would make it right they just had to wait for the new “mechanism” to come in and they would get it fixed. It took over 2 1/2 months but they did get it fixed. We got it back home, within a week it was broken again. Same spots. I called. She advised that she would get it fixed, but she would have to contact the manufacturer. I gave her two weeks to get back to me; I called to check in with her apparently someone was sick.. I understood things could happen, gave her a 3 more weeks still nothing - called back and she advised someone had been sick again - I guess she didn’t realize she used that same excuse already. I told her I was very frustrated with the situation and we would like to just return the chair, and either get our money back or even just buy a different chair from them. She said she would have to get approval but she would get back with me… well it’s been about 2 months or more since I’ve heard anything. I just wanted to put my experience out there that this place sells cheaply made furniture, and will not backup their warranty. Buyer beware.

    The mechanism has come in to get the chair fixed and I have contacted the customer and informed them that the mechanism was in and they could bring the chair in to have it repaired.  The customer responded with Thank you.  I have not heard from the customer since.  This is the second time this mechanism has been repaired.  I sent the text message on 10/31/2023.

    I bought a washer and dryer for about $2300.00 on February 25th. We could not use the washer, it would not work. We contacted the company on February 26th. They said all sales are final but the problem is it didn&#**;t even work when they sold it. We asked them to repair it and they will not return our calls now.
