I have a collections item on my credit report (account #********* for $303 for a business that I never used. I contacted them (CashnetUSA) when I noticed it, and they could find no record by name, email address, or SSN that I had ever had an account with them. Plus they haven't even done business in ********** in at least three years (the transaction date is October 25, 2024), and I have only lived in ********** for the last 38 years. So I don't know where Consumer Adjustment Company, ***** got this account from, but it wasn't from me. I have not contacted CACI yet, but would like to get this removed ASAP; and after reading how many times this has happened to others, I figured this might be the best way to proceed.
