On May 12, 2022, I contracted Safe Ship H3234**30**3637363731H to move my belongings and was given a binding estimate of $2,774.76 for 406 CF plus a broker fee of $1,267.00. Safe Ship H3234**30**3637363731H then sold my contract to H33323031303032**34H.I spoke with Safe Ship on July 17, 2022 and added 2 bar stools and a skinny hallway table during the re-verification of the items to be shipped and was told that they did not need to be listed due to the size. When the driver for H33323031303032**34H arrived, he immediately told me I had too much stuff. The driver stated that any pricing I received from Safe Ship was just an estimate and that I would be charged $3.75 per cubic foot for any additional space used beyond what Safe Ship had reserved as well as for wrapping.I called Safe Ship H3234**30**3637363731H as per the instructions in my contract and told them the driver wanted to increase the H313533**333734363133H cost and charge for wrapping. The Safe Ship representative said they couldn&#**;t charge for wrapping and she would call me back after consulting with her boss about increasing the cost for H313533**333734363133H my belongings since I had not added anything since the reverification. Safe Ship never called back. The truck was loaded before I was given an updated cost.Original estimate $2274.76 for (406 CF) minus $1267.00 for broker fee Additional Costs Cubic Feet (452) $1695.00 Shrink Wrap $ ****** Fuel Charge $ ****** 75 ft long carry $ ****** The cost of this move went from $1507.76 to $**61.98, an increase of 263%.When I returned home I measured the items that were shipped, and it came to a total of 333 cubic feet. I filed a complaint with Elite H3234**30**3637363731H but I have not heard back from them. I talked with Safe Ship but they are unable to do anything. I also filed a complaint with the ************* Carrier Safety Administration.H33323031303032**34H was in violation of my contract when they charged me the additional cubic feet and wrapping. As well as not providing pricing until the truck was fully loaded.

These guys scratched my furniture when they took the plastic wrap off with a pocket knife. The damaged my table and the console. They kept jacking up the price. I was quoted $4K then, they took it to $9K, and finally ended at $21. I told them no way on that. When I talked with the guy, he was very rude..

May 6, Elite Moving and Storage packed us up. We paid them a deposit of *******. They changed our estimate 3 times. The delivery date was supposed to be May 21. We have called the broker *******************, which we did not know was a broker, and Elite Moving and Storage repeatedly with no delivery in sight. Last Tuesday they said the furniture would arrive Sunday 7/17, but nothing arrived. We called today 7/18, they said they couldnt get a driver. Then said they are loading the truck and it should arrive either Wed, Thurs., or Fri. They will not give us the location of our stuff either. We have truckers in our family who can go pick it up. We literally have nothing but 3 suitcases and a hideabed sofa, this is extremely hard on us. I am thankful we put my oxygen concentrator in the car so I could have my oxygen at night. It was an awful way to experience our 50th wedding anniversary.

I went through *******************. They booked this moving company even though company guidelines state they are to not use businesses pending investigation or court action. They are trying to be shut down by the ******** attorney generals office. The movers keep changing delivery of my stuff. They allege things in the contract that arent there (like they have 21 business days to deliver my stuff from the delivery window date) I just want my items.

I moved from *********** ** to ************ on April 11 2022. I paid them to deliver my furniture to my apartment. I just got it this weekend. They kept postponing and said they would call me back and never did. Every piece of furniture is damaged and scratched. I am a disabled veteran and they broke my scooter and I cannot use it. Couch has scuffs, tables have scratches, etc. I keep trying to report the damage and again they keep saying they will call me back and never do. I called today and it went to VM and it says it is full so I cannot even leave a message.

Elite Moving and Storage was hired to move us from Lee's Summit, MO to Mountain Home, AR. Elite increased the agreed upon price after loading began, and because of timeframe constraints backing out of the the deal and getting another carrier was impossible. An expensive toolbox full of tools was lost/stolen in the move. Since the movers were the only ones present during the move, it appears the toolbox did not make it onto the truck, and most likely ended up in the personal vehicle of the local helper who drove to our house to assist with the loading. We definitely know the toolbox was there before the move and not after the truck left. Since we have no pictures of the toolbox and the mover said it was not on the truck we have no supporting evidence to press charges. Also, the footboard of our bed was damaged during the move. We do have pictures of that. The mover agreed to send a check for $60 to reimburse us, but never sent it. On at least three separate occasions over the course of nearly two months *******, the Elite contact person who seemed to be in charge, promised he was mailing a check, but he never did.
