We purchased a new 2024 3500 ***** Silverado for $72000+ with approximately 300 miles. We had it less than 24 hours when it quit, and we got stranded at the gas station. The dealership came and we got it back to the shop where it sat for two days. The vehicle was returned to us when the service department couldn't find anything wrong. Three days later the check engine light came on again, so we notified them. We were told to "drive it; it should be fine". The third time was less than 12 hours later when we were driving the vehicle and it became inoperable, all the lights were on including the check engine, the 4-wheel drive, and every alarm was sounding. The windows wouldn't roll down, all the heat was one and the driver was unable to control anything. We are attempting to return the vehicle and get something else, and the dealership is uncooperative to this point indicating we just need to keep the truck and have repairs made however, the master technician is unable to determine exactly what the issue is. I spoke with the sales manager and explained the situation and that we would like to work with them to remedy and now no one will return my calls. It appears they are going to try and force us to keep a non-functioning vehicle which creates reliability and safety concerns.

On February 6th I took my 2020 GMC 1500 ************* to Lithia to be looked at for a warranty issue. I had an appointment at 9 am. I had to call to find out the status of the truck later in the day. I was told my front differential went out. They weren't sure when they could get to the repairs and would let me know. I was not offered a loaner vehicle. Several days passed and I had to call to find out the status of my truck. I continued to get the run around. Ultimately, my husband stopped at the dealership to talk to the mechanics and they stated the repairs they made didn't fix the problem and were thinking it was the transmission. About a month later, I was told the "torque inverter" and the "valve body" needed to be replaced. Those parts were not readily available and were on back order. I was told the parts would arrive the end of March or early April. Meanwhile I contacted GMC corporate for assistance. On Thursday March 28th I received a text that the parts were in and that the dealership would try to have it done by end of day on Friday March 29th. I was not contacted after that, so I sent a text on Monday April 1, per the instructions given on the initial text, asking for any information on the status of the truck. I was told "Not quite yet, unfortunately we got so backed up last week and were missing a couple of techs i'm hoping it will get started here soon in the next day or so".I was then told they would check with a tech and give me an idea of when it might be completed. It is now Friday April 5th and I still have not received communication from Lithia. Tomorrow, April 6th will be 2 months that Lithia Chevrolet has had my truck. This has been the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a dealership or service ***** I have no confidence in Lithia or my truck. Our patience has run out and we are very disappointed in how we have been treated and the lack of professionalism and communication.

I purchased a vehicle from this company and was told that I would receive a reimbursement for the gap insurance on my trade in, I have not received it and when I called them to ask about it they told me that it was applied to my loan and said that I will not be getting a check because they do not do that but at the time of purchase I was told that they would refund my gap insurance check, I asked them to show that it was applied to my loan they said that they have no record of it and said to expect my check in the mail, they said that right after saying I would not get a check but has never showed up. Also I purchased this vehicle in November of 2023 and the transmission is going bad in it I thought I had purchased a powertrain warranty but it looks like I only got a comfort feature warranty. Im not sure if anything can be done with that or if there is a lemon law.

I misunderstood the questions you originally asked I am only owed $800 for my gap insurance check not $44,000. $44,000 is how much I purchased the car for, I thought when it said how much money was dealt with the business I thought that was how much Ive spend with them not how much Im owed.

Purchased an 06 Escalade from here two years ago. July 2021 I called and paid only $300 as down payment and the salesmen back then said that nothing was wrong with the car. When I got the car the dash was lit up like a Christmas tree and there were fog lights missing and damaged and the front bumper was damaged too. A few months later a salesman from there called me saying that the person who sold me my car was fired for unethical business practices. I tried talking to get out of my loan, but they claimed there was nothing they could do. I was working in ******* ******* at the time. I am wanting to get my money back and get this taken off my credit. This is dishonesty at its best.

I purchased a 2007 Jeep Commander from Lithia GMC of Helena on the 4th of April, 2023. After I picked up the vehicle, there was rips and tears in the front driver seat, the parking brake didnt work and the pads actually fell out of the bracket when driving a week later, the 4wd low system warning came on the day after, the auto lights didnt work and none of this was told to me when before I purchased the vehicle. Fast forward to the first week of August when I went to register my car, and the *** had no record of the title or paperwork being sent to them. I spent three weeks attempting to contact the dealership via phone, email and in person. I was transferred to voicemail that was never returned, I was hung up on and outright ignored. When I went down and tried to speak to the sales manager face to face, I was told they dont know where the title is and the 3rd party service, they used never got the paperwork. ****, the sales manager, then called me back and advised me they had to order a duplicate title (implying they never had the title for the vehicle when they sold it to me) and that it would be there no later than the 25th of September (over 5 months after buying the car). I never received any of the finance paperwork and have not been able to contact the dealership since. Lithia's corporate has not gotten back to me either. This is a blatant violation of ******* Code Annotated 23.19.204 and is illegal. As a last resort, I will be filing a lawsuit against the dealership to have the vehicle taken back and the loan paid and taken off my credit. I am now suffering damage to my credit score as the finance company tries to figure out what to do (******** Financial still does not have any title paperwork as of this complaint). Any help would be appreciated. Link to MCA: ****************************************************

I purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox from Lithia Chevrolet Helena. The car that ******* the salesman bragged up to me was absolutely filthy inside and out. Asked why it was so dirty, said they haven't had a chance to clean it HE GUESSES. Then asked how long it had been there? 3 weeks to a month...and its still this filthy. Then I confronted him about the 6 large rock chips in the windshield that he OMITTED to disclose. He just shrugged his shoulders and said I will talk to my manager about it. I was throughly upset about the whole exchange but he insisted this was a great car, mechanically sound, and offered a car wash coupon and a tank of gas for the inconvenience. My daughter who wanted the car said that would be okay, she was uncomfortable with the salesman and just wanted to go. When I was done signing the papers for my car 2018 GMC Acadia-they wrote up to buy-and the Equinox, They informed me that their program was down and couldn't give me a 40 day sticker!!! I asked how am I supposed to drive the car-promised it would be emailed later that night, for sure the next day--Sunday.--NO EMAIL-NO 40 day sticker--found out Monday afternoon at my local MDT office that they car was still in another person's name since April! I called about ***** times to get them to explain, left messages at the dealership and the salesperson---NO response! They still have not sent the check for my car I traded in. It has been 7 days now and nothing!!! If I didn't live in LEWISTOWN--3 1/2 hours away I would have been there Monday morning demanding an explanation. I can NOT drive the car, no registration, so its not legal on the roadway, and I can NOT insure it as it still belong to someone else!!! How do you sell a car you don't own!! or have the title too??? DO NOT BUY a CAR FROM LITHIA!!!

My husband and I purchased a Bolt EV 2023 from Lithia in Helena in April this year, and subsequently placed an order for a rapid charger. Our credit card was charged $599 for the part and it was supposed to be delivered via FedX in mid May. We never received the order and reached out to the ***** concierge service for assistance. They assured us they would expedite the order and we were referred to the parts manager in Helena. We just submitted the following email to the ***** concierge service re the lack of response from Helena:Hello ******,After ***** made initial contact with us weeks ago and assured us that our part would be arriving shortly, we have yet to receive the part and no one is answering the messages we leave at the phone number she provided ************. We have left numerous messages with the parts department at Lithia GM Chevrolet in ***** MT and have tried calling their parts department but get no response. We are now 3 MONTHS out since we placed this order and you have been paid nearly $600 for that part, but we have not received the part. Please advise on next steps. We are seriously displeased with the lack of communication and follow through. Had anyone bothered to return our call and provide any explanation, we would not be as exasperated as we are with Chev/GM. If there is a supply chain issue or at least some regular follow up with us, it would go along way toward mitigating our frustration. At this point I would strongly discourage anyone from buying a vehicle from your organization which appears to lack any kind of organized service, and will happily take your money but not provide the ordered item.

Bought a used 2015 ******** 200. Salesman Al promised that every car they sell goes through a complete diagnostic, and the report is given to the buyer. This did not happen, only a very minimal safety check. He also promised a full detail and tank of gas prior to release. I got a very poor hand wash and less than 1/4 of a tank of gas. He was adamant that anything safety related would be repaired. Less than 10 miles after owning the car, the service air bag light came on. Took it to their partner, Lithia ********, who pulled the code and said that this issue was not new and that Lithia Chevrolet should be responsible for the repair. Not small change, **** dollars. The Lithia ******** service agent said that the code had definitely been known and cleared. Lithia Chevrolet. refuses to pay half or any of the repair, and also refuses to reverse the transaction and refund my money. This is highly unethical of them, manager ***** is a snake and the actions of this business are well known throughout various review channels. I do not have the money for the repair, I am a disabled veteran. The car is for my daughter, who is a broke college student. They need to make this right, but refuse to budge.

On March 31, 2022 I purchased a 2011 ****** Scion XB Mar/Maroon from Lithia Chevrolet here in Helena. When the time came to license this vehicle, I was advised that they did not have a title for this car. They issued a 90 day sticker and after that date expired, they still did not have a title so they issued another 90 sticker, when that expired they gave me a Dealer Plate to use. I have been to the City county office numerous times and they have no title to this vehicle. I am currently driving with that dealer place on my car. I have been paying a payment of $ ****** ever since April of last year and still have no title to this vehicle. I am tired of trying to get those people to find a title and I just want to be out from under this contract, Return the vehicle and be refunded all the money I have paid on this unlicensed vehicle to date. I have heard that they have laid off numerous employees due to ethics issues and that they are pending lawsuits against this company. I simple do not want anything to do with company and just want my money back .

On july 9th we purchased a vehicle from this dealership. A few months go by and we had never received a title .. fast forward to October and my husband was involved in an accident to which our car was totaled by insurance. We never received a title still . Our DMV had no luck along with our calls getting the title let alone getting a returned phone call. Insurance as well as our lender does not get returned calls or responses to the situation at all. As of today we are still waiting for this dealership to get back to people to get this claim that happened in October to be done . They never call back and their customer service is garbage . We will never go thru them again. There has been no attempt to contact us to see how they can make any of this right . We are now waiting for the business manager to finish this request that was sent by our lender November 1 . We want them to do their job
