We ordered a 35 RV carport7/12/24. We paid $453.60 deposit with the remainder upon delivery. Once the building was complete they scheduled a delivery of 8/8/24. When they arrived, they were actually at the wrong location, 3 hours early and barely spoke English. They refused to deliver the building or to drive down our driveway. Mind you I live in a 40x60 red-iron building, have two additional buildings that are 30+ feet long that have been delivered (one delivered already BUILT) They refused to drop the building supplies, the whole thing. Then they just left with us having no idea what was going to happen. called the number for my contact and had zero contact. Emailed as well. It took two weeks of me calling to talk to someone about rescheduling. When I finally did speak with someone they had NO idea the building hadnt even been delivered. I was put back on the schedule for delivery. I called about every three weeks to only be told Ill call you when we are about a week outits in the managers office for scheduling, we will call you. Every excuse given. When they DID answer my phone calls. In early December they called to schedule. We wanted to speak to whoever was delivering it so we could minimize any issues. Oh yes theyll call you and talk it through. Then Nothing. I have called about every other day (if not daily) to only get a voicemail. I have left voicemails. No response. Today (1/9/25) was the day they were to deliver. I was told noon to 1ish. And while I understand we are in a polar vortex whatever..at 330PM I just received a TEXT from them saying they must reschedule. Like I had any thoughts they would deliver. I believe delivery was another 2600 and some changes This is awful business practices and I feel we have been completed duped. And weve been too nice apparently. We cant be the only ones. There are numerous ******** groups calling it a scam. Also works with ******** carports who basically responded they can not help us.

I used Millenium Buildings for a car port. I paid $1884.72 for a down payment on Aug 28 2024 for a garage invoice number is INV-******. I began to have a lot of issues with communication. After asking for a refund I was told they do not do refunds and I would have to forfeit the deposit. After learning this I decided to change to a carport as to not lose the deposit and signed a contract for the *******. I have not been able to get ahold of the company that millenium buildings contracted it out to which is top tier metal buildings. No one anwsers the phone or responds via email. I have gotten a response from millenium saying that they would get back to me but have not heard anything from them besides saying that they will reach out. If it is possible I would like a refund if not I just want to be done with this company I no longer want the carport as it has been nothing but a headache that I do not need.

I am rejecting this response because:
I am not happy with either Millennium or Top Tier as I havent been able to get a response from anyone thus far. I have been told on multiple occasions from ****** that she would take care of this for me and get back to me but yet still am waiting to hear anything. I am totally fine to accept the fact that I will lose the down payment of ******* as it is a small price to pay to be able to sever all ties with these companies. I just would like to not have anything to due with either company and would like to sever all ties. I do not wish to have a carport from either company and am expecting that the contract with Top tier which was facilitated through Millenium Buildings would be able to be canceled. As stated before I am alright with losing the down payment as it is a small price to pay to have this headache be over. I am a 100% disabled veteran through the ****************************** and suffer from PTSD and depression and anxiety and truthfully do not need this stress in my life right now.
    Sincerely,

    ***** *****

I ordered a building 6/14/24 from millennium buildings LLC. I have a signed contract and all paper work including down payment has been paid. Balance was to be collected at the time building was installed. I have NOT heard from the company and they said it could be 2 to 4 weeks before delivery so I decided to call today on the status of the building. Now they are stating they made a clerical error and want to charge me ***** more for the building or issue a refund. I have had trees cut, grading, gravel etc done at the location the building was going to be and have my end of the deal ready for delivery. To find all this out 3 weeks later. I feel the company itself should honor its contract and price on this matter to solve this.

    Business response

    07/12/2024

We apologize for the inconvenience and understand the efforts and expenses the customer already incurred in preparing the site for their building. The site needs to be cleared and level prior to scheduling. The situation described is certainly not in line with the service standards we aim to uphold. Unfortunately, it appears that there was a significant mispricing error on the unit by our sales representative. The additional amount is for the actual amount of the cost of the building. We can not honor the original pricing on the contract due to the amount, and we completely understand the frustration. We have offered a couple of options to resolve this issue: a full refund, which includes the down payment, or a discount on the correct price of the building. We acknowledge the mistake and regret any frustration caused. We are waiting on the customer on how to proceed so we can address this matter promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have a signed contract for a price and a down payment was  made. It states the customer which would be me only has 3 days from the signed contract to make changes. However 3 weeks later I call the company to see what the status was on delivery to find out that the building had not been ordered from the manufacturer or anything and then wants to charge me ******* more. I was thinking ***** but when I added it up it is closer to $*******. I have since done research with other companies and this price is also way off the market as far as comparable pricing with other companies. If the shoe was on the other foot as a business owner the mistake would be my responsibility to honor the signed contract. Also a business does not leave a customer thinking a building is coming or an item for the matter for 3 weeks with no phone call if there is a problem. This should have been handled asap when the mistake was made. After all the work I have done to uphold my part of the contract I think this company should also.  If it wasnt for me calling I would still be thinking next week they should be calling for a set up time. I was told to allow up to 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.

In reference to the 3-day cancellation policy outlined in our addendum, it is important to clarify that this provision exists to provide customers with a brief grace ****** in case they reconsider their decision despite the established no-refund policy. The original contract explicitly states in the section titled "Rejection of Order and Cancellation of Contract" that the Seller reserves the right to cancel the order at any point prior to installation or confirmation of the scheduled date, with notification provided to the buyer via written notice, email, or telephone call. We acknowledge the situation arose from an honest oversight on our part, for which we accept full responsibility. However, given the customers statement that our pricing was way off the market compared to other companies, we must reiterate that we cannot honor the initially quoted price. To address the issue amicably, we offered the customer two options: a full refund or the opportunity to proceed with the order at the corrected price, complemented by a significant discount from our side. The customer opted for a full refund, and we have successfully processed this request. We appreciate the customer's understanding and are committed to resolving this matter in a fair and transparent manner.

On March 30, 2023, I signed a contract as **** **** ********(my business) for a 20x40x10 carport and paid the deposit of $1038.45. I sent site pictures and they were approved. Millennium Buildings contracted with ******** ******** who came out twice. The first time around April 28, the ground was too wet. The second crew came out in May 27 and didn’t want to do the job. They turned their trailer around facing away from the driveway before contacting me that they were here, then made several excuses for not doing the installation. Millennium told me that they were having problems with ******** ******** crew and refused to refund my deposit. Then they got me a price from 5 **** ********* around May 31. They added extra money due to having to carry the materials about 30 feet. I called 5 **** ********* about a week later and they had a difficult time finding my contract, but finally found it. On July 28, I emailed Millennium Buildings again because I didn’t have my carport. They have never reached out to me to see if the work was done. They said they would reach out to * **** and get back to me. On August 14, I emailed again and was told that my salesperson Leslie H*** was going to contact their manager. I then got an email saying that I would get a call for installation the week of 8/21 depending upon weather. * **** called for 8/23 installation, then called back saying it would be 8/24. They finally showed up late afternoon on 8/24 and told me they couldn’t get their trailer to the location - I have a trailer the same size and have no problems getting it to the site. On 8/29 I emailed Leslie again to see re was any news. Nothing. * **** contacted me on 8/30 and told me they would use another crew and didn’t see any issues with my driveway. I a]haven’t heard anything from Leslie H*** or * **** since. I requested my deposit back again and am awaiting their reply. I was told I’d have a carport in 4-6 weeks. I have emails documenting all conversations.

Mrs. ******** *******, as your contract states, we do not deliver or install the buildings. The first manufacturer assigned to you encountered difficulties due to your unique driveway. As a solution, the sales representative offered an alternative manufacturer, which you agreed to. However, the second manufacturer also faced challenges with your driveway and attempted to resolve the issue by using a smaller trailer. We made every effort to ensure you were connected with the appropriate manufacturer. It is important to note that we are not accountable for their inability to deliver. We acknowledge your frustration and, given the circumstances, have processed a full refund for you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and I accept it. I disagree on the reasons why they couldn’t install my carport, but I accept my refund.
