Good Day Better Business Bureau Support. My name is *******************************. I financed a 2019 Nissan Rogue on Monday June 13, 2022, from Nissan Garden City. When i was shown the car, I was told that the Nissan ************************************************************ since i use glasses and the digital numbers are easy to read how fast I am going. I test drove the car and it didn't have the digital dashboard at all. When i asked the salesperson about the missing feature, he said that it was just a button that had to be pressed to change it to have the digital numbers. I went along and signed the car finance documents. After i signed the documents and finished with all the paperwork i asked they switch to the digital dashboard on my ride home. That is when i was told by a service tech that the 2019 model Rogue did not have that feature. When i asked the manager about it he said the salesman was mistaken. I took the car home and tried to deal with the analog dashboard. I cannot deal with it. I went back to the dealership on Tuesday June 14th, 2022, and I asked to cancel the car financing and return the car because it was missing the digital dashboard feature. The manger told me that once signed the finance documents that i could not return the car back and that all i could do is wait till the new model 2023 version on the Nissan Rogue comes in and trade the 2019 car i have now for the 2023 version with the digital dashboard. If i do that i would have to pay more money. I did not know what else to do so i came to the BBB website and i had my oldest son who name is ************************* contact 311 to see how i can file a complaint. My son saw on the 311 website that i should have been given 2 days to cancel the transaction as stated on the 311 website. This dealership refused me returning the car and lied to me about the car feature and lied to me about not being able to cancel the car financing and denied me returning the car. Please help me resolve this issue

I went back to Nissan of Garden City to retrieve the plates for the vehicle.  While i was there at Nissan of Garden City , I spoke to a associate regarding my issue and they just told me the same thing my original sales person said. Which was to return with the car once i receive the title and I could trade my current vehicle in for a newer vehicle that will have the digital display. I told them this is unacceptable since i was told wrong information twice. Once about the 2019 Rogue having the digital tachometer display and the second wrong information was that I couldn't cancel the finance agreement when I had two days to do so by law.  I was taken advantage of by the sales person since I was informed wrong about the car's features. Now my only choice is to be forced to pay more money for a new model car or deal with my current car which i can't drive comfortably since its hard to see how fast I'm going without the proper display.

    Sincerely,

    ***********************

I went to Nissan of Garden City to buy out a lease today. I was told by the finance Manager ************************* that in order to pay out the lease and take ownership of the car, I had to get a certified extended warranty or I would not be able to complete the transaction. I explicitly told him that I did not want to pay the $2500 for the warranty, but he told me that "I had no choice" if I wanted to go forward.I was coerced and scammed into buying this warranty which I was later informed by the finance company is optional.I would like your assistance in getting back this money ($2500 for the warranty). In addition, no where is this amount itemized on the ****.

I have had good experiences with Nissan of garden city in the past, I brought my Rouge there and got a good deal. On Saturday (4/2/22) I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I was called and they said I need breaks. I figured 150 per axel so I can swing it, I said ok. I asked the price and was told 700 for everything. I thought it was high and I said so, so they said they would apply a discount to bring the price dow. I got there to pick it up and they charged me 915$, almost my entire paycheck. I was charged almost 100$ for draining and changing washer fluid ( which I didnt ask for) and Im using an off brand washer fluid with a funky color, its still the same funky color so they didnt event do it just tacked on 100$ because they could. I still have to go through the rest of the receipt closer but breaks, an oil change and tire rotation does not cost 1000$. I cant afford my prescription medication because I had no idea I was about to loose that much money. I feel its predatory because of the price change from what he told me over the phone and the disparity of what I paid for breaks at different locations which all came out to less than 400$. Also the 100 $ charge for washer fluid which wasnt even changed which they would know if they even bothered to check. Each part of the receipt say (customer requested) which is not the case, they called me, gave me a false already price, and then inflated that price even more because they had my car and I wasnt going to get it back if I didnt pay for it. I have absolutely no idea how Im going to pay for my prescription drugs, my phone ****, or even gasoline for the next two weeks.

Came in to lease a 2022 Nissan Rogue SL I was shown A vehicle that did not have a sticker on the glass stating equipment and year of vehicle. I asked where it was after test drive he said probably in glove compartment. I only saw side of sticker the part not showing the year. Never was I told that it was a 2021 not. **** I understand that sec 1231-1233 of the ************* code mandates the sticker be affixed to the windshield. I trusted the dealer as I had leased a 2019 rogue with no problems. As part of the transaction I was turning in my 2019 Rogue. No one ever informed me it was a 2021 instead of a ************************************************************************************** the day of the lease Iwas shocked to see it was A **** vehicle. The next day within 24 hours I went back to the dealer to nullify the deal, They refused to. They had my 2019 rouge I was stuck. I believe I am entitled to the difference in price between a a 2021 car and a ******************************************************************************************* hours stated it was a 2021 vehicle. When I complained the next day I was told by the general manager that they had no 2022 Rogue vehicles. This was never told to me before as I had come in to get A news 2022 vehicle. The purpose of the sticker on the vehicle is to prevent situations like this, thus the regulation mandating it ******* affixed to the glass of the vehicle. I understand that there is a potential fine of $1,000.00 for not having it affixed
