I had fraudulent charges debited from my Jovia financial checking account through *********. I disputed the charges through ***** & then Jovia. Jovia sent a provisional credit while a investigation is done of $2700. The third party company a month later decided that the charges were correct & jovia said they would begin to take the money back. After speaking to & getting permission to record convo with *** from *****. They state that they determined all transactions disputed were fraudulent and the total amount given back was $3816 this was sent to Jovia bank. ***** claims that money never hit our account, even though we have provided them with numerous bits of evidence that we are due back this ********** was sent to our account. After numerous attempts to resolve with jovia, we have spoken to bank ***resentatives, bank managers, member services, card services & no one will help us. ***** H @ syosset ******, ****** supervisor in member services, ***, all have provided no answers or solutions to resolving this issue. This has affected my family greatly & the inability of Jovia to recognize their error(believing the 3rd party investigation) & not providing us with a financial resolution close to satisfactory is terrible. We need help in getting them to have a qualified ***resentative resolve this matter

I reached out to Jovia via live chat on October 30th at 4:37 PM, and the representative assured me that the transfer would not process because my account was inactive. This made sense since I hadnt done any transfers with Jovia in over a year. Yet, on November 6th, the transfer that they guaranteed wouldnt go through did process, causing my ***** account to go into overdraftand now Im facing a $35 overdraft fee thats completely on Jovia. On November 7th at 9 AM, I called and spoke to *******, who verified my identity, confirmed the account was closed, and had no explanation for how this even happened. She said a manager would contact me that same day. By 5 PM, I still hadnt heard anything, so I called Jovia again. This time, I spoke with *****, who read the notes and stated that the funds would be returned in five business daysbut that doesnt address the overdraft fee Im now stuck with. ***** brought in his supervisor, *****, who simply repeated that the funds would be returned in five days but couldnt explain why the transfer went through on a closed ****************************** needs to issue me a $35 check to cover the overdraft fee that I incurred due to their error. I was proactive and reached out beforehand, and they completely dropped the ball on their end.

Jovia has given me the run around more times than I can count for paying out my checking account bonus. I completed the deposit of $100 and all terms according to the enrollment email I received. After 30 days, according to their terms, I shouldve received the bonus. That was two weeks ago with no update. After contacting support numerous times, they provided me with some new terms that I never enrolled for trying to not pay out my bonus. In their secure email, I provided them screenshots of the terms I received in the form of an email, and they then decided to ghost me and not respond. I was promised a payout of the bonus weeks ago through their chat support. I am tired of dealing with this every week of false promises and getting ignored. I have filed an **** complaint and hopefully, they decide to respond to me.

I found a hard inquiry on my credit report on 08/12/24 from Jovia Financial FCU. I do have any accounts with the bank, nor have I attempted to open any accounts with them. I contacted the bank via live chat, and they stated that someone attempted to open a personal loan with my information and it was flagged. I have emailed their fraud department and have tried to get in contact with someone over the phone for more information and to have the inquiry removed from my credit report and all three credit bureaus, but I have been unsuccessful in getting in touch with anyone. I have filed a report with the *** for fraud. I would appreciate it the company would remove the hard inquiry from all three credit bureaus.

Jovia's has removed the inquiry from all bureaus.  Please allow up to 30 day for each to update their records.
