Bad Choice This place CEI (Cincinnati Eye Institute) Is Factory like. If you want to feel like cattle this is the place. Dr ***** ******** MD is a waste of time. The test they do to your eyes can cause more damage. He seemed disturbed that he could not find any issues with my eye. I still have know info on my symptoms. I went to ****************** the day of and they did an ultrasound on my eye and did not find any issues. This was of no interest to the ***** ******** MD. He thought it was better to poke my eye out and look at it. This was a terrible medical experience. Never again!Canute - November 26, 2024Review from Bonita M

This particular CEI in *********, **** I would not recommend. I went to this particular location for a refraction for glasses as per my ophthalmologist from a different CEI facility in **********, whom I should add Im perfectly pleased with, ( should have returned there) but I live in Fairfield. I wasnt told that the Fairfield location didnt provide pupillary diameter readings, something NEEDED for eye glasses. The facility was most adamant about the 60.00$ fee to be paid at time of service, why not be equally transparent about not providing complete service???? Later Im told that location doesnt have the equipment needed to provide that service. Now, I must spend additional money. This is not acceptable.Review from Vic G

I had over 12 appointments with CEI from 11/22/23 to 2/8/24 for very serious eye pressure(Glaucoma). All but two of these appointments were done by (Fellow), a doctor in training, no other doctor was ever seen. After this fellow could not help my extremely high eye pressure for over 2 months, he finally relegated me to a real doctor. But by this time my eye pressure in real emergency position. This arrogant doctor was so taken with his own ego that he finally decided he did not want to perform the surgery, so this is when we left to get help at Midwest Physicians, which we did. CEI is complete mess with too many people involved in every decision, no communication between these people, and arrogant doctors that think they are god's gift to the world. I will NEVER use CEI again and recommend you do the same!Review from Tom L

The CEI wants you to pay up front. Usually you pay to much. Its hard to get your overpayment back, because of shoddy book keeping. When they send you a statement, its not accurate. They dont show what they wrote off. To get all the information from them you have to make numerous phone calls.If you ask for a supervisor, they put you on hold for hours until you give up.
