            We had our first home inspected in February. We chose this company based on the number of 5 star reviews. We paid 500$ for this inspection, and in less than two months have experienced several issues costing us thousands of dollars, which could have been avoided if the inspector had done their job properly. On top of costing us financially, we are now facing possible mold in our crawl space, with a young child living in the home as well as expecting another. We were told there was no mold or mildew found in the crawl space, but when the inspector supposedly came back out to check the crawl space, they never contacted me directly so that I could be here, never sent pictures of this visit, and I don’t trust that it was ever actually done. The AC not working because it wasn’t installed correctly, would have been noticed if the AC was even turned on during the inspection, but it wasn’t. The leak and water damage we ended up with because the shower head/surround weren’t installed properly would have been noticed if the inspector had ran the shower as he was supposed to. And again, the issue in the crawl space was probably not checked anyway. Their neglect has caused us medical and financial harm. It has caused irreversible damage to our family. We trusted them and relied on their expertise and they failed us. Had these issues been disclosed to us, which was the service we PAID for, we could have turned away from this house or at least requested these additional repairs from the sellers. We would not have known to look for these things, that was the whole purpose of having the inspection done. And who knows what else we will face in the coming year(s) due to their failures. We have only lived in this house for TWO MONTHS. I have also attempted to contact them regarding each of these issues and have never received a call back. The least I ask is that they acknowledge this and refund the cost of the inspection to be put back towards one of these issues.
