    I wouldn’t even give this 1 star. The food was cold. They were out of chicken. They had no food out at the salad bar after asking if we would like the salad bar. They sent our server on break and we got the check. No refills. I guess if we wanted desert we would’ve been out of luck. Not sure what happened because this place used to be great.

    Just shows you how much the company changed& not for the better. Its extremely disappointing to see how often this happens at many different locations. They’re either closing early, you’re ignored for a while before someone acknowledges that you’re there(this happens in dt or the inside) or you get pulled up an wait 15-20 min for your food. when you try to say something you get shrugged shoulders from crew ANDthe GM! This is not from 1 visit worth of frustration, this is coming from MANY visits& from many months. I try not to complain because no one in the company seems to care, so what good will it do? This 1 was the icing on the cake for me. So maybe with the comment goin to the BBB, someone will actually listen & be proactive about what’s going on in the company? I used to love going to frichs. At 1 point I knew I would get good food/service & you would get it EVERY time! That really used to be a thing! Unbelievable, right? This literally seems like a long gone memory. Its like no one cares about their job so good food/service with a decent wait time is too much to ask for anymore & that shouldnt be the case. Without customers, you can’t keep the doors open. I think people that work there must have forgotten. Its almost obvious why so many locations are permanently closing down. Why continue to keep a place open when the employees dont care to be there & don’t care about the customers & run on their own business hours cuz they obviously don’t care what the store hours are & close early, don’t care about how long you have to wait! People like me, stop coming & you can see why! Something needs to drastically, drastically change! I get hard workers are hard to find, but it starts with upper management. Stores should be reassessed when you have store managers that shrug shoulders because you waited 20 minutes for one burger and fries & they dont think you should be upset by that. & the food is STILL COLD AFTER YOU WAITED 20 MINUTES! **** Get it together frichs! 2/2

    Went to location (this time) in Bridgetown OH but this frequent happens at all locations I go to. It was 1040pm on a Sat it was 4/13.I sat in the dt a was told Ill be with you in a minute. Ok, cool. About 5-10 minutes of patiently waiting, the person on the speaker says Im sorry were not taking any orders. So I say, now all of sudden youre closed? They say theyre just not taking any orders. Literally the same thing. If you arent taking orders, then youre clearly closed. Did they plan on taking orders in a few minutes when the time is now 1050 when you say you arent taking orders an you close at 11? Doesnt seem to make sense. He then says oh the cook just closed the grills down so we cant take any orders. At what point is any of this okay? Frichs has gone WAYYYYYY down hill from what it used to be from when I was younger. And Im only 33, so Im not old by any means. I used to really love going to frichs because #1 the food was good, and it still can be but the employees just dont care in the restaurants so it shows in the presentation of the food and the service that you also receive and #2 holds a lot of good memories for me.     Definitely NOT an A+. More like Fail. Ever since they sold, this place has been GARBAGE. STRAIGHT GARBAGE. Every time the order is WRONG, COLD, BURNT, SOGGED OUT W MAYO OR TARTAR SAUCE. like they only hire lazy *** kids, or ppl who just don't care about their job, so they shouldn't have it. I went there last night, ordered a BLT cheeseburger COMBO, and an ALASKAN COD sandwich cause it was Friday, so my grandmother wanted fish. They have you wait 10 minutes at least and the order was completely ******. Cold burgers. They never even gave my grandmother her order. They came outside handed us a bag, get home, there's no fries, and they ended up giving us a BLT cheeseburger, and a ******* cold bigboy soggy as **** w mayo, she didn't eat it. She gave it to the dog. This place is trash and should just be closed. The owners don't deserve to even be serving ppl this trash. Ppl are going to be consuming this, and it's not even fit for prisoners. It's a franchise right? Which means they have to follow corporate policy. I don't understand why anyone in charge of the big picture would want someone misrepresenting your product. Frisches USED to be good.... And corporate just don't care, they'll let ANYONE run a restaurant apparently... It's a joke and not worth going to. Since they sold, that was the beginning of the end, and especially w covid, it's dead now.

    My family loves Frisch's, and have been loyal customers for 5 decades, but our last experience caused complaint, without an acceptable resolution. We came in on a Monday (three weeks ago) for the advertised "Weekday Breakfast Bar", listed at $8.99. They had large signs displayed at the street, another in front of the entrance doors, and more signs on each table; they read "Weekday Breakfast Bars Are Back. Only $8.99". There were no exceptions listed on the signs, as well as no fine print. We never bothered opening a menu, as the signs led each of us to order the breakfast bar. After we finished our meal we received the bill, where we were each charged $12.99 for the bar. We asked the server about it and she said they're charging "weekend" breakfast bar prices that day because it was Labor Day. We're retired and had no idea (or care) that it was Labor Day, regardless, the signs don't list exceptions for holidays. At the register we spoke to a manager that said "Corporate sets the prices, there's nothing we can do about it." We explained simply that it is a Monday, and all the signs say that the weekday breakfast bar is $8.99, with no mention of different holiday prices at all. She said they're keeping the breakfast bar open till 1pm that day, and had put out a few of the (weekend) extras on the bar, so they are charging the weekend price of $12.99. We explained that we noticed nothing different about the bar, and being that it was 9:30am, why would it matter to us (and how would we even know) that they're keeping it open till 1pm. She said that our server should've told us before we ordered (but she didn't), and that they couldn't put out all the normal weekend breakfast bar items (goetta), but they were still charging $12.99, despite the signs. We contacted Frisch's corporate office, but got no return call. A second call to corporate a week later only circled us back to the local Frisch's. They refused to refund the difference for the false advertising.

    One car was over 15 minutes at the window instead of being told to pull ahead and wait. Other patrons had to sit this time to get to the window. kayla was at the window and when I brought the excessive wait to her attention she was rude and dismissive. This was 12:30 p.m. on the 19th of Sept. Typical of an unimportant person given authority.***

    It is ridiculous we can't even go in and sit down at the bethel **** location to eat because your air-conditioning is not working properly on a 100 degree day. I feel bad for your employees and it's horrible that you haven't even tried to fix this in months. Get the air conditioning fixed or you will lose more customers as well as employees.

    the location on Orphanage Rd-KY is over charging at the window in the computers other than what's on the menu-- I ordered sandwich for 4.49 and then gravy and biscuits for 5.49 and it should ring up to 9.98. but it rang up to 11.96 and with 72cent tax became 12.68. If this has happened to you lets get a class action law suit going. How many times have they charged you more? I called it out and they told me they have no control over prices and couldn't give me my money back. The manager went out to look at the menu and I took pictures of the menu. Anyone ordering it will get overcharged and if you are not paying attention you will just think its extra tax. They are stealing from people using the computer program the register uses.It made me pick a star or I wouldn't leave one.

    There is an absolute offensive odor at all the Frisch's restaurants in the Dayton,Ohio area. My wife and I purchased two very expensive bowls of Chili for take home and the odor permeated even from just the food and packaging in came in. that just like the last two restaurant visits for a sit-down dinner inside. The fact is tonight with smell was the final nail after a lifetime of Big Boys and Fries from Frisch's restaurant done, gagging in Kettering, sad to say.

    I paid $7.29 for a Turkey Club. When I have purchased this before there has been 2 slices of tomato and 3-4 slices of "thin" turkey deli meat. Today there was only 1 slice of tomato and 2 slices of turkey. I am wondering if this is the way the sandwich will be from now on. If so, I will find somewhere else to have lunch.

    They are starting to charge a convenience fee of $1.50 when you order at the drive thru, at the counter in the restaurant, or online. What is the reason for this, no other restaurant charges just to order. That is ridiculous. It is more convenient for the staff when I order online, or at the drive thru that it is for the consumer as they can have the food ready ahead of time. This is just a way for the greedy owner to steal money. I walked out when I was told I was charged this fee and after decades of going to Frisches Big Boy, I am no longer going there. You will go out of business. Everyone is now ordering at other restaurants as they are not greedy, and you can order for free and not pay a convenience fee.
