I requested an estimate for my home siding on September 25, 2023. Tommy E. came and observed my siding. He cut a piece of siding from the side of my home. He told me the siding color was discontinued and that He was 100% sure I would receive money from my insurance agency. I told him I only wanted an estimate and he said sure. He told me to sign the Work Authorization agreement so he could contact my insurance agent. I verified that I only wanted an estimate at the time. i did not here from Tommy E. and I emailed for him to give me an additional estimate for gutters for my garage. He never responded. On November 6, 2023, Tommy said I was approved 100% for my vinyl siding. I called my insurance agent, and he told me he did not call and I would only receive $2,000.00. Third Estimate did not give me the lowest estimate. One year later, I am planning to move and Third Estimate's Claims Department calls and says they are ready to do my siding. I have continued to tell them that I am not interested one year later. Third Estimate has called me up to a week ago to schedule my siding job.Review from A. S.

If I could give a zero for this company I would. Based on my experience I had with the company their communication skills are lacking, their response to my concerns and immediate involvement of legal was insulting, along with their lack of concern for the issues they created, Most importantly their employees did NOT follow the work requested, they stole property and the 3rd Estimate provided no supervision of their employees. Therefore, I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. The Third Estimate made several mistakes. First they removed both my chimneys, when only 1 was to be removed. Additionally their employees not only removed my satellite, cut my cables and took the satellite altogether. Obviously the employees did not read the work order and no foreman was on the job to inspect the final product. If I had not gone up on the roof myself and found that my working chimney was removed, the Third Estimate would have allowed the work to stand as is and WHEN I would have created a fire in my fireplace, I would have burned my house and caused major damage, something the Third Estimate never seemed to care about. Contacting the company was a joke, I received little compensasion for all the problems I faced and those involved could not/would not put me through to those in authority. The President and CEO never responded to my calls or letters and immediately turned to legal to intervene for them. While the office staff was professional and responded to my requests, I have nothing good to say for the rest of the company. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM.The Third Estimate Response

Dear April, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced and want to address the concerns you raised. We understand that the mistakes made during your project on May 23 were frustrating and concerning. We take full responsibility for the errors in your work order, which led to the removal of both your chimneys and your satellite. This should not have happened, and we apologize for the inconvenience and stress it caused. Immediately after learning of these mistakes, our team conducted a final walk-through the following day and created a punch list to ensure everything was corrected to your satisfaction. We completed these repairs on May 29, and a final inspection was carried out on June 4. At that time, you signed a completion certificate and expressed that you were happy with the outcome. Our CEO was out of the country when you sent your letters, but she approved a discount for you even while she was away. Regarding your request for monetary reimbursement for your time, our policy does not accommodate such requests. We also provided your wood at a discounted price as a gesture of goodwill. Finally, it's important to note that the lien on your property was placed due to the unpaid balance on your account. We truly value our customers and work hard to resolve issues fairly, but we do need to ensure that payment is received for services rendered. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that your experience with The Third Estimate did not meet your expectations. Let me set the record straight since this company is providing inaccurate statements about the situation. First the resolution the company provided did NOT include the cost of the panels. That cost was negotiated as part of the ORIGINAL contract that I signed and was in no way a consideration of a resolution. Secondly I questioned the person who came out to "inspect" the roof about a few items. That person shared it was his first day and he didn't know what he was doing. To that end when I questioned about something I found, I was told that nothing could be done and I should just sign the document. Furthermore the company was PAID IN FULL minus a whopping $750 that I felt I was owed as part of YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. The company did NOT contact me in any way to discuss this difference and yet placed a lien on my house for almost $6000 --- a whole lot more than what was owed. To say I'd trust this company again??? Had a rep come out for and estimate. After he calculated costs, he started a high pressure sales tactics. I refused to commit that day. He got man and stormed out and slammed my door. So unprofessional, Do Not Use this roofing company!The Third Estimate Response

The representative from 3rd estimate was NOT telling the truth. I was not disrespectful. I made it clear we were waiting on other estimates before we were going to decide. He attempted high pressure sales tactics which turned me off. When I stated that I would NOT decide today, he blurted out his discuss and on the way out slamming my door. I absolutely refuse to ever do business or recommend a business with a sales rep like that. I will not ever apologize for him leavingReview from Ben G

Thank you for taking the time to explain why my roof needs ventilated properly we had the roof installed now for 6 months and my attic has never been dryer and an less humid and hot. Trevor kicks ass! He is probably the best roofer in Cleveland. He kept the guys working and hydrated and my property was clean when they left.The Third Estimate Response

These guys are great! Trustworthy, reliable, and do an impeccable job. We had wind damage in a recent storm. We made several calls to several roofing companies, but Steve and Chris were the first to show up, they were the only ones who showed up on time, and their communication was amazing. They dropped everything to meet with the insurance adjuster when he came to the house and it was a seamless job. One day, done and dusted, cleaned and they picked the dump trailer up the next morning at 7:30 a.m. It's hard to find reliable contractors, but we really felt like this company and their team treated our house like it was their own home.The Third Estimate Response
