    I purchased a new CX5 Preferred December 21 with 3 accessories. The delivered vehicle came with one and the dealer was to add the other two upon delivery of the vehicle to the dealership before or shortly after delivery to my daughter. After multiple phone calls and texts with the sales person (called again 1/27 said that he would respond with an answer after talking to parts. No response. Called again 2/4 said that he would get back immediately. No response). Called for the new vehicle sales manager today and was told that he would get right back to me. No response. We still dont have the 2 accessories added to the vehicle and in the dark as to when they will fulfill their sales contract.

    Our salesman used deceptive sales tactics to close our sale. We had a competing offer with another dealership who offered a lower interest rate and $1000 more for my trade in. I had a fully approved deal with the competing dealership and they were waiting for me to sign the paperwork and put $2000 down payment. When our salesman “Rusty” gave us the terms of their deal, I reiterated that we had a better deal and may need to think about this. He then said that he had contacted the finance company and that they would need $10,000 for that deal to go through at the lower interest rate. I again said the the other dealership had gotten the deal through and he said “No, they do not have an approved deal - when you get there they will tell you that $10,000 is required to close the sale. He specially said that the other dealership did not have the approval, that he had just gotten off the phone with the finance company. So we went forward with the purchase at Germain. The following day, the salesman from the competing dealership called me to see if I’d be coming to sign the paperwork and take possession of the car. I shared what Rusty, the Germain salesman said about the need to put down $10,000 and I told him that I did not appreciate their “bait and switch” tactic so we purchased at Germain. He was very concerned and frankly angry, because he reiterated that their deal was 100% approved at a lower interest rate, with more for my trade in. I am absolutely livid that Germain blatantly lied to me too close the sale. I have written multiple emails and have had multiple conversations with Mike Worthington to share my concerns. At a MINIMUM, I want the commission that “Rusty” made on this dishonest sale sent to me. He should not benefit from dishonesty and I’m stuck paying a higher interest rate and $1000 more for this car than I would have if we had gone with the competing dealership. I want this rectified immediately. Next complaint is to the State Attorney General.

    I had my car towed to Germain Mazda due to ************* change not placing an oil filter on my car so the motor locked up. I called and talked with Germain Mazda customer service mechanic every other day to find out about the parts (motor). He never called me with any information and when I called him he always had general information, nothing specific. So when I called and asked about the motor coming in he just responded the motor had came in and told me no information about the motor being a used motor. I then found out the motor they used to replace my motor is USED I have no information as to where it came from. I was told the motor they put in my car has OVER 107,00 Miles on it. I asked is it common practice to use, Used Parts in your auto repair department with out my Knowledge. I was then informed by the service manager that I was not the customer that ********* was the customer since they were paying (for their Mistake). I told them this is unacceptable that you did not contact me and informed me of this after me repeatedly calling to get information about my car! The fact of them having a non Caring attitude with Horrible customer service, I would not buy window washing fluid from ANY OF THE GERMAIN CAR DEALERSHIPS! They were not upfront or honest!

    I recently had the pleasure of stopping into Germain Mazda of Columbus this past weekend. I had been to multiple car dealerships without being able to find the *** at the payment I was looking for as well as a good number for a trade in I had. Not only did Germain Mazda give me a good number on my trade in but they went above and beyond in order to get me to my goal monthly payment. The sales manager ************************************* "Mazda ****" and sales consultant *********************** '*******" were very personable and made my family feel comfortable at the dealership. They took their time making sure I was confident in my purchase and went over multiple options. I can easily say I will be doing all my future car shopping at this dealership and recommend anyone to stop out.

    I bought a car from them and paid in full and they signed over the title but they had to keep the car in order to fix something that was wrong with the airbag. 2 weeks go by of them not being able to fix the airbag because someone ordered the wrong piece twice for them to eventually call me and tell me that they are unable to fix the airbag and that they were going to have to refund all of my money because they were unable to sell a car with a broken airbag to anyone. They do not offer to help me find a new car or other arrangements and then start ignoring my phone calls. I have to accept their offer because I am without a car and do not have the time to fight it so I tell them to just refund my money. The day after I receive my check for the full refund they list the car that I was trying to buy for sale on their website for $800 more after they told me that the car couldn't be sold to anyone because it had a defective airbag and that I had no other options.
