I have my 3 dogs at this clinic, but this time my 12 week old dog ate a piece of blanket and he started getting diarrhea, I called the vet and they gave me an appointment first the next morning but then my baby started throwing up so I called again and they said bring him in, so I did once I got they took me to a room which my baby threw up again off the back just fur xray and blood work was almost $700 I opted for just the xray so it went down to almost $500, they said he might need to stay overnight so I said ohh I did not know you guys stay here she said no we monitor them threw a camera which I was like noo Ill take him home, so they took him to the back then I get a call from the vet that hes very very ill the way she said it I panicked I did not want my baby to die but $3900 on the spot I did not have so I called my husband told him and asked him to call because all that was to much for me, but they gave him 3 options and one was giving up our baby to save his life we did, this was all yesterday, today I called and hes fine Im like wait what? How he was very very ill. So Im researching and come to learn these peeps could have gave me other shopping around options for me afford to save my babies life and still have him home. Im glad hes ok I just hate that I had to give him up for that to magically happen. We believe they prayed on our sadness and desperation to take our dog. Stringtown you have an ethical obligation you took and oath to do whats right and took advantage of our desperation. Im heart broken. But will never ever go back to this place again with any of my babies. I will continue to speak to everyone that will listen so they dont go thru this they dont get their dog stolen by you guys.

This person has provided a false narrative via this BBB complaint process. She has already been provided with a cease and desist notice.

She was given multiple options for her dogs treatment, but she did not choose any of them and instead requested euthanasia for the dog. Given the good prognosis with treatment and the youth of the dog, we reached out to a local rescue and asked for their help. The owner willingly surrendered the dog so that the pet rescue could take responsibility for the cost of treatment and help the dog.

We have signed documentation from the owner that proves that they willingly surrendered the dog so that it could receive treatment.

[If you do not say why, you are rejecting the company's response, BBB must close your complaint.]

    Complaint: 21924852

I am rejecting this response because: They have not given any cease and desist; my attorney has requested multiple time the pet records for Nova, they ignore my attorney and the ignore all request. I am legally allowed to request the pet records that they ignore and do not share.  They altered the diagnosis to scare us in to giving up the dog and one of the 3 options they gave, 1st was to take him home and watch him die. The other euthanized and they quoted my husband close to $800 dollars. Then the surgery that they claimed he needed desperately but they never did the surgery, I have begged them to give me the pet records or give me back my dog and I will pay the Xray, and medicine and ***************************** replied we could have talked about options, but I just got the letter from your attorney. see attachment.

    Regards,
