We have a repair for a 2018 Ford that is under warranty. They refuse to give us a loaner vehicle or to expedite the repair. I have a serious medical condition that requires transportation to the hospital on a weekly basis. I just want a loaner vehicle until the car is repaired and returned to me by the dealership.

The customer's work does not dictate that a loaner is provided or paid for by the servicing dealership. The customer can rent a loaner or rental car, however because it's not covered under the warranty, he would have to incur the cost associated. This information was given to the customer.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The initial contact with the business, it was stated and reiterated that we could not go without a vehicle as I have pressing medical issues and require transportation. I was assured and reassured that a loaner would be available at no cost to me by the customer service representative and Mr. M*****. I believe the business should be bound to these guarantees, as they were offered voluntarily by the business and intimates an implied contract / agreement for services rendered.

The customer stated I promised a vehicle to drive. I have never met this customer and have never promised any customer in the last 10 years a vehicle to drive in service. No other person here told the customer he would recieve a vehicle to drive.

No, we did not meet in person. It was via phone. When I called to confirm the status of the loaner, the customer service representative became combative / defensive, and would not give me their name. I was referred to Mr. M***** during this second call, to which he did not pick up nor return the call.
