This hotel is saying I had an animal in the one room even tho I do not own any animals and refuse to give me a refund and my incidental fee back. I stayed at this hotel February 14th into February 15th 2023. They state there was animal feces all over the floor after I checked out. But when I arrived to the property I had to throw away a black washcloth out of the bathtub.

After the guest left, the housekeeper found something on the ground that resembled feces. The room was also accompanied with the foul odor of feces We attempted to charge an incidental fee, but the transaction was unsuccessful.

My son and I checked in at 4pm on 3/15. I made the lady aware at the desk that my boyfriend would be arriving later abd she left a key for him. My son and I went to the room and we saw the door that you usually see to the adjoining room but there was also another door in the back of the room. We didn't think much of it and left for the event we were there for. My boyfriend checked in at 902om and Noone was at the desk. He called someone and they let him in. He texted me abiut the door in the back of the room because he checked it out and it opened up to a hall with a red light. He also heard people in the hall. He s*** the door but could not lock it as the lock had a dead bolt that was only accessible to the hall side. He left the room and met my son and I in town. We all returned to the room to find the back door leading the the hall open into our room. I attempted to lock it bit could not. We still heard people on the hall . My son was scared as were we and we didn't feel safe. We all left a little after 11pm. Once again, there was noone at the front desk so we left our keys in the bin and left. I contacted the hotel and they blamed my boyfriend for the door. They refused my money back stating that we were the only ones with a key so it had to be us. I told them the keys we had didn't even work in that door as we tried. I later asked what was up with the door was and they then admitted that it was an access door for staff and they must not have locked it. They told us we should have called. No. We felt unsafe. I would like my money back.
