Moved into Simmons motel 11/07/2024. I paid 698 dollars for 2 weeks. Day after I moved in management showed up and complained because I brought a little fabric dresser my mini fridge and a dvd shelf. I was not told rules or anything. They took my payment and said 698 includes all fees. Management when they first came after I got settled in and was mad because I slid there dresser across the floor so I could sit my tv on it. Management got mad and said I need a 600 dollar deposit. That should have been mentioned before I moved in. Management said they are coming to inspect on the 12th to see if there may be a scratch on the floor from sliding the dresser. I told him i am moving out on 11/21/2024 a Thursday when my 2 weeks are up and he said when he comes in on the 12th to clean and inspect if he finds a scratch he is kicking me out that day and keeping my money. A deposit should have been mentioned before I moved in. Management is mad because I said Im moving out after my 2 weeks. I explained I am disabled and he said he doesnt care. I am a victim in this situation and I do not deserve to be bullied.

Thanks for informing us of our guests concerns. The guest did pay less than $50.00 a night and all our guest does pay a security deposit. The security deposit amount is based on whether they are staying for 1 night or 14 nights or more. The guest did ask about bringing in his own fridge and we asked him not to since it would make the room crowded. Also, we had just installed new floors and did not want the floor scratched. We did have a guest in another room that had taken upon themselves to move furniture and scratched the floor that had just been installed and to have it fixed cost several hundred dollars. Older Man upon check in asked to go in our room looking for his backpack. Came back to the room 5 hours later. Again asked if backpack was in room we firmly told him no. From *******am older man knocked and walked away. Even attempted to use a key to unlock. Front desk knew of this man and told just call 911 if feeling unsafe. Seemed to be a normal occurrence.
