I ordered a DoorDash gift card for $25 to be delivered via text message on 6/20/22. Gift card was not received from GiftYa.Business response

The gift notification was just resent to your recipient and a team member will be calling you today to insure a positive experience.
GiftYa offers several options for gift redemption including 1) linking the gift to your regular Credit or Debit card, 2) selecting a traditional digital eGift card, or 3) selecting a VISA card.

On 5/27/22 I ordered two egift cards for my college daughter. A $50 Panda Express and a $25 Dunkin Donuts. When she went to redeem them, they were $0. I attempted to call the company, but no LIVE person ever comes to the line, they just redirect to online. Thus, I filed a resolution ticket on 6/6/22. The response I got was>>> Thank you for contacting us. After reviewing this order, I see that your daughter has successfully redeemed her gift as a traditional Dunkin eGift. Unfortunately, after a GiftYa is exchanged for an eGift, we are no longer able to issue a refund. To access her eGift, please advise her to go to her account, select the gift, and click View eGift. She should see a screen containing the gift code and a QR code that can be scanned when making a purchase at Dunkin. For further assistance using her eGift, please have her contact Dunkin's customer support. More information can be found using the link below. Use as an eGift ****Please note my daughter is very cognizant on how to redeem/use these cards. As I have sent her many times in past, from other sites. So the ERROR is not on our part. Which obviously they can see as she never REDEEMED/USED them. Since there is no LIVE contact, and the cards have ZERO value, I really think this is a SCAM.Business response

During our call you did not share that you had initiated a payment dispute with PayPal. Once the dispute was initiated, we removed the balance from the Panda Express gift card and refunded your money (which is why the gift card had a $0 balance).

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Giftya did issue a $25 refund to Paypal, and I have enclosed a copy of that refund. But Giftya also made the 2nd gift card for Panda Express $0, as noted in Giftya's response to the complaint....see excerpt below:During our call you did not share that you had initiated a payment
dispute with PayPal. Once the dispute was initiated, we removed the
balance from the Panda Express gift card and refunded your money (which
is why the gift card had a $0 balance).***So if both gift cards are $0, why is the refund not the total amount of purchase of $78.90 and only $25?????

Client had multiple more interactions with GiftYa support this morning (June 8, 2022) by email and phone.
Client advised the full refund of 100% of purchase paid is being refunded.
Client indicated she would advise BBB that everything was taken care of.

I was trying to reach customer service, which is the number that they give you to call, however they don't actually have any customer service on the weekend. So what the heck do I have to do to get help? Like, why would they have a number to call, have you able to speak with someone if they aren't customer service? Who did I speak with then? They should have 24/hour customer service or don't have a number to call if they can't help. The two people I spoke with stated that they would submit a request ticket, which is ok and all but who the heck did i speak with and why wasn't it customer service.Business response
