DO NOT WORK FOR THEM THEY WON'T PAY YOU! This company is a scam they have no working support phone numbers I worked a four hour shift for them and they paid me for one hour they have no working phone number I have submitted both messages and tickets which said wait 48 hours it has been five days no response and on the app is says you have already been paid and when I go to support tickets it says you have no tickets, I asked the manager at the store for help and they had no idea who to to contact thus far it still says I have yet to work my first shift on the app basically this app is designed to gain free help for these stores without paying legal wages it is a scam all reviews online say the same some 2000 reviews saying no working phone numbers no option for support this is insane that they are still operationalReview from James N

They hide and never try to call back or help. All 3 companies.1. ************** 2. Shiftsmart 3. People Ready uses to be but now is broken off and guess what? People ready is now great!Avoid these first two; ******** is the parent company and are awful; they break the law and don't care because they are in ******.Review from Jacob S

I give them zero stars, I worked for shiftsmart at royal farms in ********* since April, in the beginning stores had check in codes and check our codes, now managers are saying they have to email shiftsmart and let them know I'm there and working. I do the shifts but I do get paid. On *************** store 159 both managers have emailed them about 09/02/2024, I've put tickets in myself but my pay is still being rejected. I'm supposed to do 2 shifts today but I had to cancel both because I am not going to work if I'm uncertain I will be paid. Shiftsmart started out good for me, but now I can't even get check in and out codes and am not being paid for shifts I worked or were turned away. An example is 09/02/2024 my second shift was store ****************************, the manager said she didn't have check in or out codes, I tried the taking a Pic feature on the app several times but wasn't checked in, then the manager said she didn't even need anyone that day so I could just go. 2 hours later when I arrived home shiftsmart had me checked in at 1:06 and checked out at 1:12, I explained that I never was checked in and they paid me for 6 minutes of work. Why would I pay 4.60 to get to work just to make 1 dollar and some change. This company has became bs since AprilReview from Rhonda G

I worked a shift on 07/29/2024 and I was marked a no- show, I submitted photo proof and the employees names also,and they still won't acknowledge my attempts to contact them or pay me. They will ban you rather than pay you. I got banned from the platform as the way they chose to acknowledge my attempts to contact them and request payment for the shift I clearly worked and completed.By banning me, I am no longer able to contact them or try to recover the payment owed to me by the company.I have been treated unprofessionally, unfairly, and not like the "valued partner" they claim that we are supposed to be.I am currently residing In a homeless shelter and that money they are refusing to pay me means alot to me. I don't see anywhere in the policies,etc. where we are working for free. It reads like you are having issues in the app and can't upload photos,etc proof of shift worked send proof thru message manager with all **** info and they will verify the info and you'll be paid within ***** hours It's been almost 2 weeks now. No payment or contact about paying me. I believe right is right and they are terribly wrong for banning me from the app instead of paying **** only want paid fory shift.Review from Tisa W

July 24, 2024 I had a shift out of town like 20 miles away from me. The app kept saying I was over 0.5 miles away and couldn't check in. I tried numerous of times, but it kept saying the same thing. It was a waste of my gas and put me in a big situation because I have bills and I had other shifts that were over 20 miles away that I couldn't get to due to the fact I wouldn't have been able to make it since my gas was so low in my truck and the shift I was suppose to do was the money I was going to use to put gas in my truck to be able to make it to my next shifts for the last couple of days. I messaged them and the only thing they told me was they had other options on the app, and they don't have other options. I had to send them an email and the store manager had to do the same thing, so including that shift I had to cancel 3 other shifts and now because of that I can be losing my truck soon! Now they don't send me any shifts. What can I do? Something has to be done about this.Review from Jason R

I arrived at my assigned location on July 6th. Because there was no manager available and no code provided, I had to use the bypass feature to login and work. The cashier did not see me enter the store's cooler where I was assigned to work. When someone from shiftsmart called the store's location and asked if I was there the cashier informed them that I had left. Because I had no reception in the freezer, I missed three calls from shiftsmart. After exiting the freezer to empty trash, my phone informed me of the missed calls. They were within ten minutes of the time shiftsmart called. The cashier also informed me that she thought that I had left and that's what she told whoever called. My job was canceled at 11:00. I worked that morning from 9:30-11:00 am. I took pictures with time stamps to prove that I was at the location. The assistant store manager also wrote a note stating that I was there at 9:30 after reviewing the cameras. I submitted my pictures and note to shiftsmart. When I check on the website for an update, all I see is "Solved". The timestamp and location of my pictures are more than enough evidence, but no one has reached out to me. By law I have to be paid for the hours worked. There is no one to speak with.Review from Demetrius E

Just like everyone else, I'm frustrated with not being paid for turn away and not being paid after working a full shift but not being able to clock in due to the system malfunctioning. This is the third time I've dealt with this. This company has the worst customer support ever and no way to contact an actual English speaking human to resolve your issue. I'm advising everyone to go to another gig app, this company is trash.Review from Manfred W

My account was deactivated after working with united health care and topgolf. My internet went off one shift and after I got it back on I couldnt log into app I couldnt reach out to anybody. And when I end up talking to *** via zoom call I was informed someone would reach out regarding this issue. Due to my account being bannned I couldnt get back into app. I sent in multiple messages and emails and no response. This was my main source of income and still I am interested in working with the company. I just want a fair chance and my internet going out shouldnt have resulted in my account getting banned. I was turned away on June 13,2024 from a Circle K.Ive been trying to get in touch with Shiftsmart for over a week.The agents send emails only to get smart and nasty. I was paid 2.99 when my payment should have been much more.They even sent that to the wrong account.I thought app jobs would be convenient,but no customer service is aweful. I asked a rep for a real email for problems.She said this is a real email and its the only way to get in touch.Beware of shiftsmart
