Purchases a used vehicle from the dealership with ****** miles and purchased the highest warranty offered by the dealership. After doing a routine oil change at ****** miles it started misfiring at ****** miles on multiple cylinders. Took vehicle to the dealership for codes to be read on April 13th, 2023 they scheduled an appointment for April 18th *****. They did not contact me until April 25th, 2023 to tell me that I had to authorize and tear down of my engine and I would have to pay about $637 dollars if the warranty doesn't pay for it. I have driven to the dealership and called multiple times and am always told its the warranty companies fault. The shop say they want to put a whole new engine in it and the warranty company is slowing down the process. However the actual issue has never been told to me the vehicle owner. It is now May 5th and I have yet to hear anything from the business.

My 2018 **** Ecosport has been at Brinson for a month(towed there on 2/24) and I can not get them to tell me a diagnosis. I have made multiple phone calls and exchanged several emails with this place. My car will not crank and had a light come on saying low engine oil pressure. From my understanding this is a known issue with this year model with ****, due to the tensioner belt breaking on the oil pump. This part is NOT on recall, but the only solution is replacing the entire engine. When I call, they do not have an update for me, IF I get to speak to anyone at all. I do not have another car to drive while they have my vehicle, and they have told me that they do not have loaners that they can give. No parts have been ordered, no updates have been given, I can not even get them to return a phone call most days. I do have a **** Premium 6 yr/******* mile warranty, with ******* mile powertrain warranty on this car. I need help getting a solution for my car so that I have reliable transportation for my family. After a solid month I should at least have a diagnosis. I had an appointment for my car to be looked at on 2/27 but my appointment was cancelled by a representative. I called to ask why and ***************************** stated that I needed to send her an email just stating that it was ok for them to look at my car. No one ever told me that and I was not made aware of this until after my appointment was cancelled. To my knowledge, no one has looked at my vehicle and given an official diagnosis but she did state to me on a phone call that the technician did say that he thought I needed a mew engine.
