My tire blew on a Friday night and I did not have a spare. Called this company at 10pm to get a tow their website says 30mins or less. The lady on the phone told me $299 for a tow and that it would be an 90mins. Well 12:30am comes and Im still waiting. I had to call and ask what was going on the lady calls me back and says their driver broke down and I need to pay an additional $61 to have their sister company come tow and if I dont pay the additional $61 then I would have to wait till Monday morning when more drivers were available. I argued and asked for a manager no one ever called me baxk. I cancelled the tow and asked for a refund and they refused so I called my bank the next day to dispute the charge thought everything was fine till I looked today and they charged me AGAIN when I called they said it didnt matter I cancelled I still owed them. Mind you I was never sent an invoice or receipt and when I asked for one they said they dont keep those

I called the company to get my car towed. The only issue was the car wouldnt start. (Most likely a drained battery) I wanted to in my driveway and not left overnight in the parking lot it was currently located in. Nothing was wrong other than the vehicle not starting. When the tow truck dropped my car off it seemed fine, I went out and asked what they needed from me and I was told nothing and to have a good night. All of a sudden my horn is going off and the guy just leaves! He was at my house from 12:30am-12:38am. My car now only will stop honking if my lights are on! When I called to ask why this was happening they made it very clear that it was my fault and it was like that when he dropped it off (which it wasnt!) and the tow truck driver apparently waited for me for 15 minutes because I was suppose to bring him my keys or something. Then I was told he had unplugged the battery? Which is also a lie because it definitely hasnt been touched.I have video and audio surveillance showing a turn stamp and my car not honking when he first got there and then it starting to go off while hes unhooking and then him just driving away. All I wanted was possibly my money back so I could put that towards my now honking horn that wont stop unless I leave my headlights on. Which doesnt help with me getting my battery working!

My son had a tire blowout yesterday and called for a tow truck. Nearly two hours later after he had been sitting in the cold in the dark, this company did not show up. They are a scam company. His dad talked to someone supposedly from this company. We finally had to call and pay for a different company who came to help quickly. This company in question did nothing but steal my son's money with a fraudulent charge for no services provided. This should be illegal! They even sent an invoice as if they are a legitimate company. There are some evil people out there these days. My son is only 17. We will be separately having this investigated through the bank and private investigators.

On Saturday August 19, 2023 I had a major tire blowout and needed service. I looked up tow trucks near me on ****** and Central ************* was the first listing and it was sponsored. The ad indicated they could have a tow truck to me in 30 minutes. I called, pre-paid for tow service, and was told a truck would be to me in ***** minutes. The service I arranged was to have my car towed 8 miles to a service provider that was open and could fix my car in time for me to get home that afternoon. During the wait, I received a call from someone calling themselves dispatch and they took more info from me and again indicated a truck was on it's way. A little later I received a second call from a person who identified themselves as being from Summit Towing and wanting to know if I still needed a tow truck. I indicated I thought a truck was on the way and this apparently indicated to the person I was speaking with that I did not need them. After an hour passed and no truck had arrived I called Central ************* again and they told me that they had to cancel my first tow truck because it was needed elsewhere and that the call from Summit was a second tow truck they had tried to send to me but that I cancelled it. They had not told me about the first cancellation so I did not know they had sent a different company. If I had known I would have handled the call from Summit differently. Nevertheless, I still needed a tow truck so Central ************* said they would take care of it and a truck would be to me in 30 minutes. Again, 30mins passed and no truck arrived so I got back on the phone. At this point it was 4:30ish on a Saturday and the service provider I had planned to have my car towed to was closing at 5pm. After another 30mins (+) on the phone with Central ************* they offered to tow my car to ********** (an oil change provider) because they would be open until 6pm. This of course was not going to work. By the end they decided they would not help.

Sat. August 5 at 3:15pm called Central Roadside ***** for towing services for a 2008 ***** ridgeline truck that broke down at *****************************************. We were on a RECORDED LINE. Multiple times told dispatcher location was in RIDGE. Was told tow would arrive in about 1 hour. Invoice was sent via text for $335, which we paid. We did note wrong name was on invoice. The correct name was **** but **** was on the invoice sent by *******. She had trouble understanding. My son said **** is American name for **** which is why we didnt question it. Received a call from company about 1 hour later stating they had to send a new tow driver and that it would be an additional hour. Told if we cancelled it is an 100% cancellation fee. After 1 1/2 hour the new tow driver called and said he could not find us and he was in SOUTHAMPTON **. The company sent the driver to the wrong town. Both we and the driver called central towing to resolve this. It took over 1/2 hour to get hold of someone First **** and then *****. Was told we had to pay an additional $135 to have tow driver come and get the car. ***** admitted when *********** was googled, the *********** address was listed first and they just clicked it, but insisted it was our fault since we did not pick up the original invoice had wrong town incorrectly entered. At this point it was getting dark and had no choice but to pay the additional $135 When invoice was sent for additional charge the wrong pick up address was still there. This time we knew enough to check and had them correct. Company unwilling to work with us and put the blame on us. We are looking for the $135 refund and an adjustment to the original $335 that was charged to go to ***********, approximately 23 miles away since this was due to there error. It was 5 hours before tow driver arrived. I just pulled up the 5 text messages including the original from 3:15 that had the wrong address and all 5 changed with corrected info. I sent what I have. O

This company has already ripped you off if you are reading this. I contacted them to tow me after hitting an object in the road resulting in a broken radiator. The towing Company I googled sent me to this number. The woman answering asked me to repeat myself a dozen times. I got to the payment portion. Then she repeated the correct address but on the invoice it stated a distance 55 miles out. I signed it hurriedly as I was in 95 degree weather needing to get to my child at daycare. I had to leave my car where it was. I contacted the company asking to refund the difference and they refused to correct and refund since I signed it initially. Repeating back a distance of 15 miles not hearing they charged me for 55. A short while later this company called telling me they would refund the difference if I would just sign the document they send. Well that document reflected me paying $539 for 15 mile difference. The 55 miles cost $539. They refused to refund me unless I signed this. I didn't trust this and told the guy no way am I signing this so they could rip me off for another $539 and then refuse to refund it. I locked down my bank account and will have to report this to my insurance company. These people are the scum of the earth!!!!

On June 4 two tires blew out on our travel trailer about 10 miles from ***********, **. We were in an area with poor cell service so detached from the trailer and drove to ***********. My husband called a local towing company he found on ****** *************). I found out later that the number was for a Capri Quick Towing in SC and is no longer showing on ******. He spent nearly an hour on the phone with someone, describing the trailer, its make and model, location, etc. They had him agree to a $1558.80 charge ($500 hook fee and $799 mileage - 11 miles!). They said someone would arrive in ***** minutes. He drove back out to the trailer. About a hour later a tow-truck driver came without the equipment needed to transport the trailer. The driver was aghast at the cost and said he would have received a just a small fraction of that and said that he couldnt do the job. My husband came back to town. The company then called my husband and said they were going to charge a $950 cancellation fee. When he said that we hadnt cancelled, that they hadnt sent anyone who could do the job, they hung up on him. I then called an actual local towing company what quickly sent out a flatbed and took the trailer 40 miles to a tire shop to be serviced the next day. They charged $600. We accessed the invoice online from Central Road side *** showing the $1558 charge, with a different phone number, ************, ********************. When we returned home on 6/8 I tried to contact the number on the $1558.80 charge on our ***** ************, and found it was for some guy named ******* in ***** with a full voice mail box. I filed a dispute with ***, and they credited our account at least temporarily. On 6/21 I saw that Central Roadside had refunded $608.80, thus charging us $950 for not providing towing. On June 24 I emailed them asking that they refund us another $690, leaving them with their (unearned) service call fee. Have had no response and dont expect one.

We were finally able to resolve the complaint this week to our satisfaction by having them repay us everything but the $260 service call fee. We still consider that fee a rip-off since they really did nothing for us, but at least we got most of the $1558  refunded. I would definitely not recommend this business to anyone and they should probably be investigated for fraudulent business practices.

On 6/14/2023 I contracted Central Roadside Inc. To pick up my 2011 ****** Maxima at ********************************************************** on 6/15/23 at 10:00 am and tow it to ****************************************************************** I paid ****** dollars in advance. First of all they were late and didn't arrive until 11:00am then Dispatch sent the driver to the wrong address. It was totally their fault. I had provided the correct addresses. They called me back and said since the driver went to the wrong address I had to pay an additional ***** or I wasn't going to get my car back. So I paid the extortion payment. I would like to have the extra payment refunded to me in full, because it was not my fault. My Name is ********************* you can reach me @ ************ Thanks!

Their advertisement says 30 minutes to get to your car to tow it. After they charge your credit card they tell you it will be ***** minutes.
