Last night my car broke down. I called "***'s Towing" at ************ as my husband has had good experiences in the past. I spoke to a customer service person who took all of my information, including payment in advance of $327.00. He told me at that time that he would contact the driver and call me back. Instead, a few minutes later he called back and repeated/asked me to repeat all of the information again, and again said he would contact the driver. A woman then called me back, confirmed my information and told me that driver would arrive anywhere from 1/2 hr to 1 hr but the driver would call me just as he was arriving. One hour later I called back as I had not heard back. She said to give him another hour. In the interim, a tow truck labeled as (***** towing) drove by us and went to the end of the parking lot and stopped. We ran to truck and the driver seemed very confused. He said he had no idea who "***'s Towing was" and said that he was there to pick up a **** Explorer (I have an Escape). He got the dispatcher on the line and confirmed that we were not his customer. He even had us on speaker phone. The contact number for his client was not my number. I called "***'s" again one hour later and they rudely told me that that we had sent the driver away and that they were going to charge a cancellation fee of $129.00 on top of the $327.00, and that the driver would not come back. All of this began at 5:j35 until 8:30 PM when we had to call another company. I paid $397.36 for the tow. This company used different numbers each time - Three from ******* ** (all different) and one from ********* **. Again, the driver did not identify himself as our tow person and said he was there to pick up a different vehicle. I used a debit card and was not able to stop the payment from leaving my account. They did not charge the $129.00 thank goodness. Uploading two invoices, one from this company (Paid Invoice for no tow) and the invoice for the actual tow.Help?

Hello, I discovered just this morning a credit to my  bank account of $198.00 from the towing company. I am not in agreement as they need to refund me the additional $129.00 that they charged me for turning away the driver that convinced me he was not out tow guy.   The total amount I paid was $327.00 and they only refunded me $198.00.

Thanks so much for your help!

This company stole my money and never came to pick up my vehicle. It's been over ********************************************************************************************************************* hundreds of dollars to get out of impound. The company kept me on hold for hours on the phone and kept telling me to continue waiting and that the "driver would be there in 20 minutes." Theft. Fraud.

The business poses as a local tow truck company in Dallas under a false name on google as '***********************' however the invoice they sent is under 'Central Roadside Inc'. I called them for a tow on Oct 3rd for 16 miles to a repair shop. They charged me $342.7. The driver who arrived was from '*****************'. After some confusion the driver told me he was called by roadside to complete the tow and that he had charged them $220 for the tow. When I figured out something suspicious was going on I stopped answering phone calls from roadside, they then proceeded to call me from multiple numbers registered to different cities in texas and South Carolina.
