Serial number #******** Case #********. Invoice #******* *************** head went out July 4 2022. New part ordered and did not arrive until end of January 2023 and at that time they realized the adapter plate was cracked so that part was ordered. And original was scheduled for March, then pushed to April, then May , then June and that date has now passed. We call customer service at BRP and they cannot give us any information and will not let you speak to a manager. Just that they cant tell us anything more than we have already been told. We are just trying to find someone that actually knows what is going on. We have been without or boat for nearly a full year now and missed many holiday weekends we would normally be on the water. We would just like the part or for someone who knows something accurate to reach out. I feel like they just give us a date every month and no one actually knows whats going on.Initial Complaint

Purchased 2022 Can-AM in Jan. 2022 from ****** Motorsports since then Unit has been at ****** Motorsports getting fixed more than it has been at my residence. The following are some of the issues I have had with my unit. I was not able to get all of them as according to ****** Motorsports, Can-am got hacked and lost all warranty claim information. *Unit has always shifted extremely hard *Had multiple issues from Jan. 2022 to Dec.2022 which was filed under the can-am warranty,*Issues with the doors having big gaps in them,*Broken axles. When I picked it up I noticed it had a noise in the transmission when I drove between 18mph to 24mph. Took it back said it would be down a couple months, told me to bring it back in Jan. 2023. However, during that time, another axle broke in Dec. 2022 so I had to take it in early to fix axle, transmission, switches for wipers and windows. Finally I got it back in Feb. 2023 and noticed the wench didn't work and the rear end was leaking.*Then on Memorial Day weekend, the front end broke, so I had to take it back again. *On the 4th of July the shifting cable broke Contacted Can-am @************** on 7/3/2023 to let them know the issues I have been having with my Unit. Talked to Belise and she said she would send it the the "upper team".Contacted Can-am again on 7/11/2023, got my case number ******** and was told to call back in a couple days that it was still with the "upper team".Contacted Can-am again on 7/14 was told it was in the "higher department" was told they do not have a contact #, the only way they could talk with them was through messages. Was told to contact ****** Motorsports they would have more info. Told to call back in a couple days.Contacted ****** 7/17 - ***** stated Can-am had not contacted them. So call Can-am, talked to ******, she said "higher department" was experiencing difficulties. She forward the case to compensation department "Level 3" call back in ***** days.Initial Complaint

I purchased a $25000 ATV in February. I took my ATV in at 200 miles and told them the machine was burning oil. The dealership ********* of ******** **. found that the motor was indeed bad and requested that BRP send a new motor but BRP continues to instruct them to try and repair the motor! My ATV has now been in the shop since April 4th. I want a new motor at minimum put in my machine immediately!Initial Complaint

I purchased a brand new 2022 Can-Am ***** and I have already had 2 recalls and the battery went dead and I was forced to buy a new one. I cannot even ride my bike because they are waiting on a recalled part. I am stuck paying the payment and the insurance I am not happy with the quality of the bike or the lack of customer service. I tried calling customer service and they say "I'll have someone call you back". but I don't get a call back.Initial Complaint

On December 15 I purchased a 2021 can am **** rc from ******************** in ****** ** . I took the unit out to the trails and with in 1 hour the drive line fell out of it and eversince it has had one problem after another it has been in the shop for almost all the time I have had the unit I am still making payments and believe I have been sold a lemon this unit has only 60 miles on itInitial Complaint

Hello,so i bought a brand new 2021 Can am from **************** in ******* **, after the first use which was brand new i had a rolled over with all my family in the vehicle and my wife and daughter even went to the hospital. the wheels got locked on a hill and i could not do nothing to fix the issue. Right away i took it to the dealer and dealer notify me it needed to do a claim with BRP can am for warrany. after almost a month and a half just going back and forth with the adjuster which he is super rude name ***************************** phone number ************ he said they will not be responsible because they found no codes wrong on the unit but the problem is the dealer or a technical person from BRp have not actually inspected the vehicle in order to say it's nothing wrong with my unit especially when is brand new, first drive, and it even cause the death of my Daughter and wife. i really need the help in this matter and i will appreciate all the help. The person handling this matter at the dealer his name is ****** phone number ************. Another concern is why should i have to pay for a unit i bought brand new to avoid issues and especially when it has a defective problem and they don't even want to be responsible for it. i asked for documentation regarding the dealer and his technician and he did't send it to me and i even asked to speak to a supervisor and they don't want to provide me with a phone number neither.Initial Complaint

My 2017 Can Am Defender HD 10 was delivered to ** Poweraports in ******** ** on July 10 2022 for repair. Dealership identified a failed flywheel pin and ordered needed parts from Can Am. Can Am delivered incorrectly manufactured parts to my dealer 3 times most recent October 7 2022. My dealer has contacted Can Am directly and raised an incident ticket. No resolution has been found. My dealer has advised that Can Am has no interest in correcting its manufacting defect and that I would be lucky to have my unit back by Christmas 2022. I am currently renting a unit at $1900 per month as this was a business machine.Initial Complaint

I received an immediate recall notice over a week ago about my 3 wheel motorcycle having an emergency recall and do not operate. It stated that my 2022 Can Am ***** Sport 900 had a faulty steering bolt that could snap off at high speeds. I was told to not operate the unit and get it to the dealer immediately. I called Can Am BRP and got it towed to Mountain Motorsports in ******* *******. I was told that Can AMs system has been down since August and they can not fix the unit and do not have an estimated time of repair for the unit. My question is with the summer winding down, will Can Am BRP be reimbursing me for payments i am still making on this vehicle that I can not operate. I am still paying $210.00 on this unit each month.Initial Complaint

On March 25, 2022, I purchased a new 2021 Can-Am Spyder. The *** Number is *****************. I had numerous problems with the dealer.After I left the dealer, I took the Can-Am Spyder home on a trailer. My wife rode this machine for the first time on April 2, 2022. With less than 40 miles on the odometer, the bike displayed a *** fault. I believe *** stands for vehicle stability system. This fault restricts the top speed of the motorcycle to 50 mph. Eventually, we cleared this fault, but it continued to reoccur. My wife would ride for approximately ***** miles, and the *** light would come back on. This was occurring on a brand new motorcycle!I called the local Can-Am dealer. The service department informed me this was a common problem. He said he did not know how to repair it. I live approximately 210 miles from the closest Can-Am dealer. On March 25, 2022, I took the Can-Am Spyder to Star City Motorsports in *******, ******** to get this problem repaired. I picked up the Can-Am Spyder on April 2, 2022. The fault came back on within the first 30 miles of leaving the dealer. I drove 210 miles to drop off the Can-Am Spyder, and 210 miles home. When the bike was ready, I drove an additional 210 miles to pickup the bike, and 210 miles home. In total, I traveled approximately 840 miles, and nothing got repaired.The problem persisted, but my wife continued to reset the code when the *** fault occurred. On July 27, 2022, I took the bike back to the local dealer. I left the bike at the dealer until August 30, 2022. The dealer did nothing to repair the *** fault. This was an additional 840 mile round trip. Combining both trips, I have traveled a total of ***** miles for nothing. Can-Am has not repaired the problem.The problem gets worse. Each time I travel to the dealership, I take a second vehicle because the Can-Am Spyder must be left at the dealer. I have put ***** miles * 2 vehicles into these trips. Nothing has been fixed.
