Dalworth has not completed repairs to house and demanding payment. Dalworth manager has refused to escalate to upper management to resolve issue about requested payments for work not completed. Dalworth has not repaired items damaged by Dalworth workers during repairs either. I want items damaged during repairs fixed or replaced and the remainder of repairs completed before payment.

We made a horrible decision and called Dalworth to look at a leak in our kids bedroom closet. They came and tore out the carpet in their closet and cut out the sheet rock- they then went on the the other side of the closet and took out a row of tile in our bathroom to inspect the area. Their conclusion? No mold and everything was fine. They recommended drying out the area with fans. The salesman told us they would work with our insurance company to make sure everything they did was covered by our insurance. LIES. Our insurance contacted us after they destroyed our closet and bathroom to tell us there was NO WATER DAMAGE and they basically did nothing except run loud, obnoxious fans. No mold. No water damages. The best past? The sent us a bill for over $4,000. For what you ask? For running two humidifiers. Did they fix anything? No. Did they find mold or water damage? No. Did they damages our property? Yes. They think they deserve $4,000 for plugging in humidifiers and picking them up. We tried to call them to discuss their lies about checking with our insurance company before they did work and no response. Their lawyer collection agency sent us a letter demanding $4,000. The work was maybe worth $300-500. Dalworth Restoration, is a scam company which seeks to overcharge insurance and when that doesnt work, they send the bill to the customer.

I am rejecting this response because this form was created before our problems with them began. Our problems began after they left our home and sent us an astronomical bill that did not accurately represent the work they completed.

In August of 2022, I had a sewage backup and my house was torn down to the studs and had to be reconstructed. ******************* of Dalworth Restoration made me feel confident choosing them however, the service I have received has not been what ******************* said. I was assured there would be someone there overseeing the project to make sure it was done correctly and in a timely manner On March 24th 2023 I was told my house was completed and a final walkthrough was all that was needed. Due to the work, I've seen from the contractors thus far, I wanted to verify that insulation was used. I checked four different locations where insulation was supposed to be installed and it wasn't. I hired a Home inspector which cost me $400 because I did not feel confident in the work On April 18th 2023, I was told the house was complete again. I had a concern about the floors because I did not see a vapor barrier being used. I called the manufacturer of the floors and they said it is highly recommended. I was still being charged for it so I spoke with Dalworth and they said they did install it. I wanted to verify because thats not the first time they told me that. It was not installed. There were several other issues with Dalworth to include:They left our water running in the front yard where they were mixing mortar for almost a month and did not clean up the area. There is still a hard substance in the grass area They used a smaller cabinet that did not fit the area were it was being install and did not contact me about it and just did it They forgot to cut the dryer vent and A/C return in the drywall causing my A/C to run excessively The house was left a mess with drywall dust in rooms they did not even work in.Work started on the 5th of January 2023, and I was told it would be completed in a timely manner, but there would be times were the house would sit empty for weeks without anything being done The total cost for the project is $53,188.69. I paid ********* so far.

We had a water leak in late May and we called Dalworth to do the water restoration. Although they were fast, I have several complaints about their service. 1. They left our bathroom damaged (eg, left holes in the walls when removing the baseboards, drilled 10 holes in our wooden bathroom vanity that needs to be completely replaced, etc). 2. Everytime we were in contact with the sales Manager/assessor, *****, we have asked for an invoice with line item details of their services rendered and they assured us they would get it to us and they never did. This was an emergency water removal service on 5/21 and I feel they took advantage of the situation by not allowing us to competitively see their service pricing ahead of the work. 3. We were quoted $1200 for these services ($1100 if we submit a review online) and, again, we continuously asked for a line-item invoice and we have not once received any paperwork for this. I just received an invoice in the mail (8/11) with no explanation of the services they’re charging other than “water mitigation-see scope”. There was no scope in this whatsoever (see attached) and they’re charging nearly 3x what they originally quoted us. 4. We made it clear that we intend to file a claim for their services through our insurance company but still wanted an invoice for our records; however, they continued to call me to verify we’re filing under insurance after I’d already provided them with the claim number. After seeing the invoice they us on 8/11 I can clearly see the claim number listed (see attached). 5. After our claim was approved by the insurance company (6/5), Dalworth requested to come take pictures of the damages they made (7/5; assuming to fight the insurance company). Why would they ask to do this when they should have initially documented damages when they did the restoration? This feels very shady. We would like 1) detailed line-item invoice 2) how this aligns to the market 3) an explanation why this is now 3x the quote

We have reached out to the homeowner to resolve the issue.  I have also attached the detailed scope of work that was provided to the insurance company.
