I replied to a mailed ad for a personal loan. After reviewing the Terms of the loan. I decided that I did not want to proceed. I did not provide the documentation that was requested from the company. I did not proceed with opening the account. And never received any funds from the company. On November the 30th the company opened an open an account on my credit report. After finding this report on my credit. I called the company to find outo find out why that would happen.. They requested my full social security number and banking account number. I refused to provide that because I already feel like this company is fraughting me. The representative told me that I needed to file a police report.

Dear Rise Credit, I am responding to your contact about a debt you are trying to collect. We talked on May 9th and you had a hard time identified the debt as mine. Please supply the information below so that I can be fully informed:Why you think I owe the debt and to whom I owe it, including: ?The name and address of the creditor to whom the debt is currently owed, the account number used by that ************************, and the amount owed. ?If this debt started with a different creditor, provide the name and address of the original creditor, the account number used by that ************************, and the amount owed to that creditor at the time it was transferred. When you identify the original creditor, please provide any other name by which I might know them, if that is different from the official name. In addition, tell me when the current creditor obtained the debt and who the current creditor obtained it from. ?Provide verification and documentation that there is a valid basis for claiming that I am required to pay the debt to the current creditor. For example, can you provide a copy of the written agreement that created my original requirement to pay? ?If you are asking that I pay a debt that somebody else is or was required to pay, identify that person. Provide verification and documentation about why this is a debt that I am required to pay.

This is fraudulent and done online. I've filed everything with police report including threats on my life and family. I'm still struggling to recover from my credit cards ect that were hit. I'm still having issue's with alot off proof. They got $5038.00 for a principle loan that was refinanced after missed payments. Never givin a loan origin date, how much or when refinance was done. Never have had as many ongoing health issues let alone this. I've been fighting for years. Last conversation was thier debt collector found significant fraud and they didn't like that answer. They took account back, made me submit all proper documents plus proof that I had been having trouble getting any progress in fixing this issue to this day. My account was hacked, information leaked through eqifax breech. File and claim submitted and attached. Please help me they won't get that off my credit nor refund my funds. Thank you *******************

    Complaint: 17015598

I am rejecting this response because: They fail to mention  I supported ******* for a ******* loan. I offered ***** and then **** to settle from help with grandparents just to rid of their c*** They don't seem to get the point. Why pay 100% on everything but them? I was going through mental health issues and financial was not a concern for quite some time. Now that I'm aware of what has transpired I've made every attempt to show but they insist phone contact? Refuse to send to eqifax, haven't attempted to take me to court for a judgment why? Makes no sense. I am a full blown victim of identity theft and everything I have is locked or closed as far as any cards. March I had 171 charges on multiple cards while I was sleeping.  Including my bank. I've sent them supported documents everything in my life is compromised yet it's impossible for them to be wrong. Technology can put my number calling anyone, in a process called spoofing . They waited after I made the report saying wtf? They immediately said that it would be taken care of. In light of it all past my banks 2yr status on record by 4 months works out well for them. I've furnished all proper documents,  have recordings of current theft now and yes sounds similar.  Although the merchant never receives the money so no knowledge of any account . Affirm can't confirm my identity.  I lost my job with Uber for identity issues. Also my own bank couldn't verify me so in closing since they have been digging I've lost another $3348.14. $******* paid over ******* back offered another **** didn't take it why? Then ****? Why? Over$ ******* is not satisfying enough for them on as ******* loan to begin with? Yeah sounds real legit...

    Regards,
