I hired this company to do repairs to a dethatched office/guest house that was damaged by a flood. They initially told me that the building was not covered by residential code because it was not a house. Because of this they told me I had to pay their subcontracted carpenter cash in order to have the ceiling properly and safely repaired per code. They continued to be deceptive lying about their communications with the insurance company and the work they were doing. I ended up terminating their services prior to the work being completed. They then filed for work they did not do and coded it as work to a residence in order to raise their billable and lower my total amount of funds left to complete the work. They claimed an electrician diagnosed socket that was already known to be independently wired and was already known to be shorted out with code below. When confronted with the fact that the work was not actually done they told me that the code was the only one available for them to use and was the industry standard. Separate electricians have confirmed this was not true. They also charged for a dump trailer that they never brought to my house (instead the subcontractor removed some of the waist with his personal pickup truck). When asked about the money that was obviously not spent on repairs they said it was the companies to keep at their discretion. After fraudulently charging my insurance company and decreasing my funds they tried to collect a $500 deductible on top of this. I offered to pay the deductible once they corrected their fraudulent billing. They refused and are now threatening to place a lean on my building. This company has submitted multiple invoices to me as this has progressed removing other false charges. 12. After a review of the file, we dispute the allegations of Mr. *********.  After a review of the file, it is clear the customer experience was not executed to our internal standard nor Mr. *********.  During the time Mr. ********* was our customer he made complaint to his insurance company, this prompted them to engage an independent third party to review the job site, workmanship, and billing accuracy.  After this independent review and our business relationship ending with Mr. *********, we were paid for the work performed directly by the insurance company.  It appears his allegations have resurfaced after our pursuit of an unpaid deductible from the insured,   Texas state law requires the deductible be paid by the insured.
