April 20th - I received a door-to-door auto quote for $700 to ship my vehicle from ******, ** to *******, ***May 7th - Was told to pay $200 for a reservation fee to hold a spot.June 13th - I was told to pay $1450 to ship my vehicle.June 18th, July 9th, July 14th. July - I was told I my money would be refunded.I would like my full deposit to be paid back because the quote was half of what the actual cost was, and I was never told it would be more money than what was quoted. I also have been waiting for 2 months for a refund. It is insane for how long I have been told I would get my money back and they keep say a little bit longer. Two months is unreasonable by anyone who got quoted half of what they wanted me to pay.Customer response

Contacted the company to ship a car. They quoted me an obscenely low price, so I expected a serious increase in the actual rate. I paid the deposit. Received an email shortly after paying the deposit with a link to sign the terms and conditions.I signed them, understanding that they clearly stated that only half of the deposit was refundable.if I cancelled. Unless I was using another shipper, then all was forfeit. Not a word about the additional money up front for the fuel. (Another red flag)They allegedly found a driver to haul it for twice the original quote. Still reasonable, but the driver and his employer couldnt be bothered to reply. The day before pickup my situation at home changed, so I had no place to park the car. And I decided to sell locally. So I cancelled well in advance of pickup. I finally started hearing from the shipper.I was then informed that the deposit will be ir-refundable. In spite of the fact that I actually DID NOT violate the T&Cs I have asked for the fuel payment to be returned several times and they have gone silent.Initial Complaint

04/24/2024 I was contacted by *************************** about transporting my fifth wheel. He originally had the wrong information i gave him the correct info and he still quoted me the same price, i gave him a deposit for the driver. On the day of transport the driver couldnt make it so it had to be rescheduled then on the new day with a new driver the price went up 3x at minimum of what i was quoted. When i asked for my deposit back i was ignored.Customer response

Now they wont send my money until i remove the complaint. That is blackmail. He is admitting i am owed it back but wont give it to me unless i remove the complaint. He again said by wednesday and failed to do so and now will not give me back my money that is rightfully mine unless i take down this complaint.Business response

This is not the first time customer is asking for refund. Many of customers cancel their order for so many reasons and ask for their refund and we refund their money back as it's mentioned on the contract as well. Every professional company work with contract. Every customer ask for a refund in a decent and professional way but this customer is harassing from the very start about refund. He texted me for a refund but i was unavailable at that time to respond him because i was in hospital with an emergency. When I have seen his text i replied him you will get it back by Wednesday but he said i have written a complaint on BBB. This is not a right way and he started blackmailing to us if we will not refund him he will file more complaints on different platforms. I told him and we admit that it's his $100 and it will be refunded to him but take his complaint back but he said no. The same case was happened earlier customer file complaint on ******************** and said refund him and he will take it back we refund him but he didn't took it back and still reflect on our profile. So this is not a right way to blackmail and do leg pulling of others. We have to safe our side as well. He know that very well after getting refund he won't gonna take it back. So it's a very simple thing take this complaint back and we will proceed with his refund in an hour otherwise he can right a complaint back.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
First off im not a man second off i have every right to state my poor experience with this company. They havent had integrity from the beginning. I told them once i got my money back i would handle my complaint accordingly but they cant hold onto my deposit that was paid for services that they didnt do because a complaint was made. Then tell me they refuse to give me my money until i remove the complaint. That doesnt take away from the fact that they owe me my deposit back. What they are doing is blackmailing me. I have every legal right to file a complaint when they dont refund me my money for services not provided i waited until wed the money wasnt there so yes i informed appropriate organizations that this company is a fraud
Business response
05/03/2024
Everything go through the process. This is not the way to ask for a refund by complaining the organization. First you need to resolve the matter directly with me if i refuse to refund you then you go for a legal action. And what you are talking about you gave me a time until Wednesday? You are a complaint on a same day when I told you it will be refunded. You didn't wait till Wednesday to take a legal action. Moreover you start blackmailing us. I need to file a case against you for false statements and for the blames that we are fraud. How you can say that? We do respect our customers but it doesn't mean you will do whatever you want. There are millions of satisfied customer who prefer us for our good services and prices. Many of needy people earning with us and you want to kill their child with your false statement? You will be answered at the day off judgement for this. Again again again! We do not have any issue to refund you. We will be glad to refund you and get out of this blackmailing. What you have to do just take your complaint back and let me know I'll proceed your refund immediately.Customer response
05/03/2024
I am rejecting this response because: The havent been truthful or honest from the beginning and apparently im not the only one they have done this to. My complaint had nothing to do with the fact that they owe me my deposit back for services not provided and the mere fact that they wont give me money that they owe me without me taking back a complaint i rightfully made is blackmail. I waited until wed to reach back out when the money wasnt there as they said it would be...they lied, then they say 30 min after i take it down but then tell you 1 hour still more lies, it takes 2 min to zelle someone money. They clearly have no intentions of returning me my money. The are frauds. This business and their others and i did report them as such to the appropriate places to be investigatedCustomer response

I can no longer request for my refund through zelle. The way i sent the money to them they have removed that email from zelle.Business response

Nothing is truth in her statement. Who ever is eligible for a refund we do refund. Even i told her that you are eligible and you will get it on Wednesday but she file a complaint on the same day. This is not a right way to get a business. If i get failed to refund her on Wednesday then if she file it it would be understandable. This is not a first time customer was asking for a refund many ask and they get as you can see in attachment. We have experienced that already customer file the complaint he said refund and i will remove it and we did but it is still reflection on our profile so we have to secure our side as well. I told her on the same day please take it back and i'll refund it otherwise i am unable to refund it i have to answer higher management as well but she said no. Then on which behalf she was looking for refund on Wednesday? I told take it back and i'll refund you but she didn't did it. If she has to play safety we also have to secure our side. What if she won't take it back we will be in loss. We do not keep deposit if we don't provide them with services but the way she was trying to take it by harassing it won't be possible.Initial Complaint

I was quoted 450$ agree to work with this company in which I left a 150$ deposit so my balance would be 300$ to the driver 3hrs after I signed he called that they had a driver but the price would be 800$ that I would have to give to the driver I told them thats not what we agreed on. Then they texted me saying the driver can do it for 650$ I said no for the next 2 days I called no answer. They finally replied to my text after I asked for my refund for my deposit. Then he goes on to tell me I would have to wait 3-5 days for my refund. The next day he calls me and tells me he would not be refunding my deposit after going back and forth on the phone. Any number for the company I call does not pick up the phone or text back its been over a week and I still havent received my deposit back. This was a pure scam he quoted me a very cheap price asked for a deposit then switched once I gave him the deposit the phone number I was contacting is ************ dont do the same thing I did!Business response

Version 1: I do not agree with the complaint as I responded whenever he or his wife called me. He is providing false information regarding updates, price, and refund. Additionally, he has been collaborating with other company since the beginning. I advised him to have that company remove their load to avoid competition and potential price fluctuations, but they did not comply. If customers engage with multiple companies after paying the deposit, the price guarantee is void. Furthermore, the contract clearly states that the deposit is non-refundable if the customer works with multiple companies. Despite his insistence on a refund, I mentioned that I would consult with my boss to explore any possible compensation. I did not promise a refund, and he is not *********** one. Please review the attached proofs and signed contract for reference. Thank you.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: The contract I signed with this company on march 21, 2024 the company that he saying I worked with after I signed the contract has it posted on march 20, 2024 before I signed with him I also told him when he called me that I wasnt working with no other companies that the same way he found the information online the other companies did also and I still try to contact those companies and ask them to remove it
Business response

I have refuted his inaccurate claim. During our phone conversation, he mentioned that he had been collaborating with another company, which failed to deliver the services he needed. This led him to express interest in working with me. However, he is now denying ever being associated with another company. Furthermore, I cannot confirm whether he is currently working with another entity until I post his load on the load board. Upon doing so, I discovered that his load had already been posted by a different company. It is common practice for broker companies to purchase leads from vendors, then reach out to potential customers. No orders are posted until the customer confirms their interest or places an order. Posting on the load board incurs costs, so it is unlikely that someone would waste money in this manner. He is resorting to falsehoods for support. I have presented all the evidence to you. Our company is reputable and strictly adheres to the terms and conditions of contracts. In the event of a failure to fulfill a contract, we will issue a refund to the customer, provided they have not breached the terms. I have attached the proof of refund issued today.Initial Complaint

I decided to ship my car and IShipautotransport came up on my email after an inquiry i submitted with uship. I called and spoke with *********.He said it was a 250 dollar deposit. I had used my credit card at first but he had said that it declined. He gave me no other option than to use cashapp. The original quote was for 650 and a 250 dollar deposit was required for the order. I had changed my mind the next day and tried to cancel the shipment, that wasnt for another 2 month. They denied my request as they said that my order had already been dispatched. And there terms and conditions stated that "If you place an order with us, you have the option to cancel any time prior to your vehicle being assigned to a transporter". At this moment I realized that this was the reason that they make you pay with direct payments. This company will quote you low to make you pay them through venmo or cashapp and then deny your cancellation. Fast forward to this month, I required a change of pickup and they demanded a $75 rescheduling fee although there hasnt been a driver assigned. I refused to pay this fee because I knew that there was no driver that accepted such low bid 3 weeks out from pick up. There never has been a driver assigned to my order, ********* repeatedly had communicated that with me. But when I tried to cancel on 3/15/2024, he said that there was already a driver assigned to my order. They will hold your deposit hostage and make up stories to refuse you a refund. BE AWARE do not use this company. They think they are sneaky, but I have done my research and have caught them on many lies. They will put your order on the dispatch and act like they have your issued a driver to your order. This is not how the process work. Above all, I was concerned with the person that he tried to pass off a the driver that supposedly was in charge of picking up my vehicle. I am requesting a refund due to not requiring service and not being against their terms and conditions.Business response

I hired iShip Auto Transport to transport my vehicle from **********, ** to *********, **. They quoted me $450 for an enclosed trailer. I told them that the car needed to be there by Friday, 3/15/2024 for an event. He reassured me the car can be there by then. Initially asked for a $100 deposit for the "driver" and then another $50 because he said the "driver" wanted more money. Few days later, still no schedule and no driver so I contadted him again. He said drivers wanted $750 instead of the $450. Already a red flag after hearing this. I asked for a refund but he kept deflecting my request. So I told him, ok I can pay $600 and if you can't do that, send me a refund. He agreed to do it for $600 and told me my pick up was on 3/14/2024 and gave me driver's name and number. I called the driver on 3/14/2024 around 3PM but no answer so I contacted iShip again but they said driver is coming on 3/15/2024 instead. i said that will not work because my car needs to be in ********* at a specific time. I asked for a refund but they refused and said the contracts says no refunds but here's the thing. He asked for payment before even providing any sort of contract. Their way of doing business is modelled after scams. They might as well be crooks and scam artists. $150 is one thing but the time he wasted is something I can never get back.Business response

Hello there! I'm ******* from Iship Auto Transport. Allow me to clarify the situation. I have completed my responsibilities accordingly. Initially, I had arranged a pick-up for Thursday as per the customer's request. You can verify this information by referring to the dispatch sheet attached. Unfortunately, on Wednesday, the truck's axle broke down, causing a delay for the driver. Consequently, he was unable to collect the load on Thursday. However, he assured me that he would pick it up on Friday instead. It's important to note that this mechanical issue was beyond my control and the driver's control. Mechanical faults can occur with any vehicle. The customer should understand this.
Regarding the price, please understand that we are brokers and do not have control over the pricing. We provide quotes based on the rates set by the last vehicle shipment on that particular route. The change in price occurred because the driver demanded additional payment. Despite this, I personally contributed $50 to assist in completing the job, ensuring that the customer receives their vehicle by Friday. You can verify this information in the attached dispatch sheet.
Furthermore, it's regrettable to mention that the customer has used inappropriate language, as evident in the attachment. I have fulfilled my duties for the individual who hired me, and I believe a refund is not warranted in this situation. The customer received a clear contract, which I sent during the order confirmation process. Everything was outlined explicitly in the contract.Business response

I requested transport for a vehicle from ****** to *********. Several carriers responded with varying quotes. I found a few that agreed to take the job for $800. I picked iShip because they were quick to respond. I signed one contract and that was with iShip. At one point the representative, ******* said, On Friday, 03/01/24 texted, "I'm going to reserve your slot with the driver and i have to pay him $250 so how would you like to pay? By *****, venmo or cashapp."Time passes and ******* sends me a text telling me to call two competitors and tell them to drop the load and stop working. Im confused and began to but the needed information I did not have. I let ******* know and he repeated the same message. I was able to reach one company but only left a voice message with the other and later a text. Apparently this caused a breach in the contract I signed so they refused to refund the $250.00 I sent via cashapp purportedly for the driver. ******* blames me for the increase to ship the car, and is now asking, Can you pay him [the driver] $1000.Why would the driver want $1000 now when he was willing to do the job for $250 on 03/01/24?******* was clear the $250 was for the driver ( I have the full string of text if you want it). He did not say it was for him, iShip or anyone or thing else. That driver is apparently no longer available.Business response

Hello! I quoted her $800 to transport her vehicle, and she confirmed her pick-up by paying a $250 deposit. After posting our load on the board, I noticed other companies also working on her order. I advised her to request them to remove her load so I could provide a driver at the quoted price. Due to the competition between companies, prices increased, affecting the original quote. I explained to her that working with multiple companies changed the situation. The contract clearly states that if the customer collaborates with another company after paying the deposit, the payment becomes non-refundable. She violate the contract, causing the price fluctuation, making her ineligible for a refund as per the contract terms. Please review the attached documents carefully before making a decision, Thank you.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
the "$250 deposit" he refers to was not called a deposit: the followings taken directly from the text thread:
On 03/01/2024 at 10:56 AM ******* sent this text: "I'm going to reserve your slot with the driver and i have to pay him $250 so how would you like to pay? By *****, venmo or cash app"
At 12:34 PM I sent ******* the following text: "Ok paid via cash app: $iShipAutoTransport, $250.00"
At 4:36 PM ******* sent me a text, "Please ask them to remove your load". I had no idea what he was referring to even though that text was followed by something that could have been copied from a computer screen. He explained,"They are working on your order and posted it on load board to get a driver" followed shortly by, "They are creating a competition". I was thoroughly confused, but went ahead and called the two companies he indicated. I was able to reach one but only left a voice message and later an email with the other one asking them to "drop the load and stop working".
Prior to contracting with iShip through *******, I was communicating with several competitors for the obvious reason, shopping for the best price and guarantee. After I signed with iShip, I stopped communicating with any other company other than to inform those that continued reaching out. To those I indicated I no longer was looking, that I had signed a contract, but appreciated their efforts.
I did not collaborate with another company after signing the contract with iShip.I did not send a deposit. I sent a payment to a driver indicated buy ******* at 10:56 AM Friday 03/01/2024.
I don't know how to copy the string of text between ******* (iShip) and myself. There is a lot for certain.

She is reiterating the same information once again. I collected a deposit from her, so as soon as I find a driver for her, I can secure a spot by paying a reservation fee. However, when I posted this job to find a driver, I discovered that she was collaborating with multiple companies. I informed her that this would create competition among the companies and lead to price fluctuations. This is a significant factor in price increases. If multiple companies are vying for the same job, the price will rise as drivers are attracted to the better offers. I advised her to ask the other companies to remove her job, but it was not taken down. I have provided you with all the evidence of our conversation and the listing from the other company. We do not engage in unethical business practices. We operate with transparency. Whenever we are at fault, we refund our customers. However, in this case, she has violated the terms of the contract. If we are not obligated to adhere to the contract, then why bother signing the agreement? Please commit your mistake.Customer response
03/05/2024
I am rejecting this response because it is patently false. There was no deposit requested. There was only a request for $250 to secure the driver. He may want to call it a deposit now, but that is not what he texted. Again the exact quote On Friday, 03/01/24 was, "I'm going to reserve your slot with the driver and i have to pay him $250 so how would you like to pay? By *****, venmo or cashapp."
to reiterate, i have to pay him $250 not please remit $250 as deposit.
Again, as soon as I signed the contract with iShip I had no reason to work with anyone else and did not. I was satisfied with the agreed total fee of $800.00.

I have not said anywhere that we did not take it for our own use. The money was taken for reserving a slot, and I handed it over to the driver. However, upon checking the load board and noticing that other companies were paying more for the same load, the driver demanded additional payment; otherwise, he threatened to take the load from another company, causing the price to fluctuate. She was the instigator of all this, yet she refuses to acknowledge it. this is not my mistake; she breached the contract. I have already provided evidence of this.Initial Complaint

Really couldnt have had a worse expierence with this company. January 2nd I was quoted by *********************** (quote #********) at $500 to have my car shipped. I expressed I needed it soon as I had a rental due soon paid for by my work. January 5th i filled out the form and then january 8th he insited i pay a "security deposit" via cashapp or zelle. When asked he stated "this is the reservation fee that you have to pay now to RESERVE a slot for your vehicle with driver" I paid it, assuming that it reserved my slot for the driver and price he had quoted me at january 2nd because he had stated that nothing had changed. January 12th I recieve a message saying due to new year holidays he is un able to schedule at the quoted price but theyll keep looking for a driver. at this point it has been 4 days after paying the fee. January 18th I hear back again and he states due to weather conditions the driver is asking $1800. I said that it is not in my budget and i will go elsewhere. he then states he will do it for $1300, I refuse. Then $1000, I refuse. He says he will keep looking. Then january 25 he says "i have a driver who can pick up tomorrow, delivery tuesday." I asked the price, never hear anything. Obviously I then go with another company as its obvious my time has been being wasted. finally on FEB 2ND he says he has a driver, i say ive already moved forward and i would like to refund my deposit which of course if you couldnt guess by now, they are refusing to refund. I called the company asking for a refund and was told they would call me back in 30 min. i then shortly recieve a text from ***** yet again saying he knows i called asking for a refund and that they will not give me one because i went with another company. obviously if i hadn't i would most likely still be waiting for a car. I reported the charge to my card because obviously this is a big scam and will continue to escalate this further until my problem is resolved.Business response

This is Iship Auto Transport. Affirmative! We have quoted him $600 from which we get $300 as a reservation fee and $600 is the customary price on his route but due to Christmas and Incipient Year holidays the driver was on Vocations. We arranged a driver for him, so we can give him a pickup. Because the driver need to drive on his holiday to give him an accommodation that's why he was asking for more money because he was doing this route only for one conveyance, and he needed to manage all the expense by his load. That's why he was asking for more. And we are an astronomically immense company we take money for what we have done the job for. We don't require to take the money of somebody if we haven't provided them accommodations. And we immediately restituted his money back. I am attaching a proof as well. All this happen because of holidays of the driver. Usually i do not happend. As we were unable to complete this job we have refunded his money back. I hope you will consider this response.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: For the record. I have wrote via email to ***************, after he tried to lower the price from $1200 to $850 which i rejected knowing that is only an empty promise , telling him that I am calling Credit Card and will file fraud(which I did) he knew that he doesnt have options left and he did shortly after that refunded my $300. So yes i got my money back, thanks God i used CC which is protected from similar situations. Money is no longer an object. Problem is the bad intent on his side .First they swarm you with calls in spite you indicate that you do not want them to call until the communication and details are exchanged and agreed via email. Once they promise you same day load of your vehicle and you give them CC to which they charge you a deposit story changes immediately. That where they start to lie and look for excuses hoping that customer is desperate and will pay anything just to move . Trucks do not stop for holidays. Trucks do stop for severe weather and that's about it. What they also do they post on NT board way higher price than offered to customer and then come back to you as price went up etc. Its a shame in what a way some of those brokers operate. Purpose of not accepting response is that other costumers like me will be able to **** experience i had and will be careful when shopping for broker.

I denied with him because We are broker and our job is to provide our customer a driver in a cheapest price that's why we negotiate with the driver again and again and get lower from $1200 to $850 It is because we have good relations with the driver. And moreover we refund the money back to the customers it doesn't matter from where they has paid. I have attached the proof that we do refund our customer when we fail to provide them services. That customer paid us by ***** and refunded back on same Zelle account.Customer response

This review is wholly untrue. If we are unable to fulfill a customer's request, we return their money. A day before they filed a complaint, we gave him a refund. I've attached the evidence to support it. She has also sent a screenshot showing that @iShipTransport is not on Venmo. I've also attached the evidence to support it.Customer response
