Leons Towing is preying on people, going late through ********** apartment complex to tow vehicles, son got brand new car late at night and within 6 hours the car was towed from the apartment complex- this is organized crime between the two and police need to investigate this; as this is a scam-

The tow was lawful under Texas regulation.

I am rejecting this response because: The tow should of not been done so *****, anyone could see the temp tag on the truck dated 1/15/25- and given at least until the next day to get the decal from the apartment - as the truck was there for 5 hours only - I understand the policy but his situation was a bit different than the normal- given he is in the military and had to be disciplined for being late today to get the truck from the lot and I just feel some empathy could of been given for his situation - vs the others!

your son is a grown man, as a grown man, he signed a lease with the apartment complex when he moved in. in the parking addendum that he signed, he was made aware that any vehicle on the property at ********** apartments would require a parking permit or parking pass. he was also given a visitors pass at the time that he moved in that expires at the end of his lease, he could have used this temporary permit to place in his truck to prevent the towing of his vehicle OR he could have simply parked on the side of the public road way of ***************. there are usually about ***** vehicles parked on the side of the street as they do NOT have a parking permit.

at the time that he made a decision to purchase a NEW vehicle, did he have a parking sticker on his OLD vehicle? I find it odd that if his old vehicle had a parking permit, why wouldnt he think to have one ready for his new vehicle.

did he buy the vehicle on a whim? just drove by the lot and decided that he was gonna take it home that day??? id guess not...if i was a betting man, which i am, i would bet that he had a 2-3 day though process to buy the new vehicle. if it didnt enter his head that he needed to get a NEW pass for his NEW car, then one of the FIVE (5) tow signs that state in english....RESIDENT PERMIT PARKING ONLY.......i think that means he needs a sticker.....

I am rejecting this response because:

Yes he did buy the truck on a whim because he does not have time like that to look around for days on end, due to his current situation in the military and current car issues, his has been in the shop multiple times- and couldnt risk it breaking down again, therefore it was a 1 day unplanned purchase- which unfortunately he could not help - he couldnt remove his current parking decal off his car because it is still parked in the apartment complex parking lot - and still has this car, so I guess the whole situation is disturbing; I just do not feel like this situation deserved that, others who park w/o decal illegally is different and I am not saying that someone should not be towed for breaking the policy, but this was a lot different of a situation *

My tow was towed from my apartment complex stating that it was in two parking spots, when I asked for proof they would not show me, I parked right in the same spot I always do, the parking spots in my apartment complex are not painted correctly I just park where the yellow cement is in a straight line allowing everyone next me to still park

I am rejecting this response because: we were told that it was towed because of the parking space and when we paid to get it out which was the next day after I made the complain they told us it was because to sticker that why they took it cause they were supposed to give a warning but because we have no sticker they took the car and the sticker is in the window and was in the window when we went pick it up we asked so why do we still need to pay if it was yall mistake they said we have to cause its already there and then the sticker has cleared indication that it was pulled up and put back and yes his right side front door doesnt lock useless we do it by hand so we understand how they would have gotten in the car they also said we were double parked so they took it cause no sticker instead of given us a warning and our landlord contacted they and told they they was supposed to give us a warning so Im sure they haves talked about where the car was before and yes the line is very faded but you can see it if you was like here and on the other said in the same spot it is lines going through the same spot by the stairs the indicate its not a parking spot and that wa the same thing our landlord told them and we know they were in the car because some of our things are missing and we had a whole big bag of snacks and they ate them all and left the trash

March 12 11:30pm-12am my vehicle was towed from a apt complex in which i was ONLY visiting from that time. I was parked in the extra car visitor section so no i did not have a residence sticker. I visited my ***** for about 1 hour and a half then i leave walking to where my vehicle was parked seeing it was gone. I call 911 to report it in which they referred me to calling this company because it showed i was towed. ( LEONS WRECKER ) which is located in kileen texas off veterans memorial drive . I call and then they make me schedule a "appointment " a hour later to pick up my vehicle. I then get there which i asked why my vehicle was towed . I was told i didnt have a resident sticker and i proceed to tell him neither did any of the other vehicles in that section he says they were doing random patrols . The entire thing should not have happened this place needs to be looked into or shutdown even residents have had this happen to them . I asked what the charge is thinking it wont be much due to them only having my vehicle for maybe a hour or so but due to my "appt" it had to stay longer he then tells me my price is $331 for everything.

Visited my senior citizen mother apartment complex due to my mom just having neck surgery. I wasnt parked at the complex an hour and my vehicle was towed. I park in the same spot everyday when I come to check on her. My told me this is where the rental office said you can park. Then when I called the company they were rude and hung up the phone on me 3 times. Once I paid the guy at the window states it wouldve been cheaper if I didnt get smart. Really when you tow someone vehicle, how calm would you be when you think your car is stolen.
