Vehicle was released by financial corporation. Was supposed to release my vehicle but only wanted to release my possessions but not my vehicle. Even though vehicle was released. Requested I needed to make an appointment to pick up vehicle. Which only has appointments over 10 days later. I don't understand how this is legal and how a business like this is allowed to operate. I would really appreciate it if someone would put a stop to the sharks. And focus on giving people their vehicles. When released by there financial institutions.

Romans Adjusters never received a redemption release to release the unit back to the debtor. Romans Adjusters only received a transport release from the lien holder. The unit was released to the auction on 1/2/24. Once the unit is released to the auction, the consumer has to pick the unit up from the auction NOT Romans Adjusters. Romans Adjusters stores the personal items that were in the unit up to 60 days.

Romans Adjusters has to receive release documents directly from the lien holder in order to release a vehicle.

The vehicle was repossessed on 10/18/2023. The lien holder sent release documents on 10/23/2023, please see attachment. The consumer redeemed the vehicle on 10/26/2023. Romans Adjusters releases vehicles by appointment only once documents are received from lien holder.

My Son's car was picked up. When we contacted the place, we were told that an appointment time was needed. The Lady who answered the phone was very RUDE and disrespectful. We also were advised that it was going to be $75 a day. SCAM because car was picked up on a Thursday and next appointment was on Tuesday. Moving forward, my Son picked up the car. upon picking it up his car was ran sacked. His gun had been touched, bullets been taken out of the gun. Cologne was missing, MUD inside and all over his personal items. When my Son called the police and they showed up, his cologne magically appeared, and bullets were given back to him. The officer did take a report. No one should have their vehicle gone through. NOR should you touch someone else's gun.

Per client contract, once a unit is on the Romans Adjusters lot, we are required to remove personal property. We do not store liquids, flammable or perishable items to avoid damage to personal property. The release documents were received on November 17th at 1:45pm and vehicle was released to the consumer on November 18th.  Romans Adjusters is by appointment only and release hours are from 8am-3pm. The release documents from the lien holder stated to collect $75.00 a day, and $75.00 redemption fee. The storage fees start the day a vehicle is repossessed and stop the day the release documents are received. The consumer was charged $75.00 storage and $75.00 redemption fee. Please see attachment for the signed release form by the consumer which states what the debtor was changed.

I paid all that was owed - I made an appoint to retrieve property and ****** and ** dart at the Romans Adjuster at the 5300 Buford address kept my car 4 days longer - I continue to call to ask why I was charged a no show fee when I was there to get my wallet from my jeep - ***** was at the window and gave me my wallet- ****** very unhelpful said she couldn't make any acceptions that they had to have a separate appointment for retrieving the vehicle - I called Roman's after I was assured that the release from my car company to the towing company - for a simple appointment that I have record of - they stated I didn't show. ******* lied and said I wasn't there . ****** the worst manager over ever met - hung up on me 4 times in a row- was consistently putting me on speaker phone when I wanted to speak with her briefly- and privately- she kept calling me angry and she was going off continuously not letting me ask how much the impound fees were. I have two jobs and lost both because I was without a car for a week - it's just me I didn't have a ride. I have a lot of responsibility and I was recently assaulted by 4 African American teenagers - which is the only reason why I got behind in payments - that is my fault - but the towing company made my situation much worse - they cost me more money and were so dishonest that the stigma of sleeve ball towers - that would be ****** and ******** they are suppose to put the customer first. ****** is the manager - communicate horribly. She disregarded my confirmation for my appointments and was completely rude and taking an employee word over mine when she herself saw me and talked to me - she may see a lot of people today but she was the only crappy manager that I had to deal with . It costs me whole day of them ignoring me and treating a client like dirt. This place needs to cited or send a violation of according circumstances- I can't believe. And I here other people have bad experiences but this was terrible

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/11/02) */ debtor scheduled an appt online for personal property ONLY, once debtor arrived to retrieve her property, she wanted to take possession of her car. At the time we did not have any release paperwork from her lien holder to release the unit back to her. Debtor called the office 16x in one day to only yell, scream, and cuss at the office because we did not have her paperwork. She was advised for 4 days straight (as she continued to call and yell) to contact her lien holder. The debtor was able to retrieve her car the day we received the paperwork from her lien holder.

My car was towed to their lot 8/24/2022. I went on 8/25/2022 to get my property and they had already went through my car and gave me a little bag of items. I'm missing my gold necklace, 4 expensive bottles of perfume; chanel, juicy, daisy, one in a million. Among other things. When I asked where the items are they don't know. Whoever cleaning out those cars shouldn't. This is not the end! I want to talk to the manager

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/07/21) */ In regards to the mechanical condition, Romans Adjusters cannot attest as to the mechanical condition of the unit as keys were not obtained. Nor do we have the proficiency to assess any mechanical condition upon recovery as our sole purpose is to secure collateral on behalf of the lien holder due to loan delinquency.
