I have been trying to call the two office numbers provided but no one answers or returns my calls. I contacted the company through the Thumbtack App on Sept 13, 2024. The following day (Sept 14) a technician came to my home to complete a diagnostic for my broken fridge. I was given an invoice for the parts that would need to be replaced - Compressor (covered under warranty), Compressor Drier Filter ($96.95), the Evaporator Coil ($186.95) and Condensor Coil ($73.95). Which came out to $357.85 total for parts, plus an additional $300 for labor for the repairs. I was told that it would take a few days. The parts were delivered on Sept 20th and I was not notified. I had to reach out to ** to get the tracking information since Texas Home Appliances did not respond. After waiting an additional week, the company finally contacted me and scheduled our service on Sept 29th for Sept 30th. The technician that came to the home replaced our refrigerator compressor and compressor drier filter. The Condensor Coil and Evaportator Coil were not replaced. I was told that those parts did not need to be replaced by the technician. Since then I have been waiting to be reimbursed for those two unused parts. I have not heard back from the company or received any follow-up phone calls, texts, or emails. Every time we call we either get no contact, or someone states that they will give us a call back, and nothing else happens further. We were told to that the parts had to be returned by the business first, so they could be reimbursed BEFORE we could be reimbursed. We ended up being charged $255 (with a 15% military discount) by technician ****** **** for labor but only two of the four parts were replaced. Wed like to be reimbursed for the labor we were originally charged for the additional two parts that werent used. Weve called the business multiple times, left voicemails, text messages, and emails with NO RESPONSE from the business.

I waited on hold with Whirlpool, got the run around, and then they agreed to provide cost and labor for a goodwill replacement of a young (14 mo old) dishwasher. They scheduled the appointment with their certified repair company - Texas HOme Appliance Service. I received a job confirmation for July 5 (the earliest available date) between 8 a.m. and Noon.No one showed up. No one called. No one answered the phone, returned my text, or responded to my email. I waited over a week to get the appointment and my internal deadline because of an event at my home is July 9. Texas Home Appliance Service has horrible online reviews. I am confused as to why Whirlpool forces its consumers to use them. The only way I can assure my dishwasher will be functioning on Sunday is to purchase the part and hire a independent reliable technician.

I was assigned Texas Home Appliance Service from Maytag for warranty repairs. Neither Maytag or I have been able to get a hold of anyone at this company. They scheduled my appointment with them a week ago and no one has come by or even tried to call me. This is a bad reflection on not only this company but on Maytag as well.

I paid for an initial visit and parts. The company has since gone silent. I have tried to call, email and text them on over 20 occasions they do not respond at all. I need to get my oven fixed and I have paid almost $300 for absolutely nothing, thus far.

Texas Home Appliance Service was the company that Whirlpool uses in the *********** area to handle product issues. The technician came out to check on dishwasher issue 9/9/2022. Said he would be back in 2-3 weeks and complete repairs needed (which were under extended warranty). However, despite messages and phone calls since 9/28 to check on status...there has been no response. In checking with Whirlpool Extended Warranty, Texas Home Appliance listed the work order as completed on 9/29/2022, which never happened. No technician ever returned, and the company has not responded to calls and messages from either us or Whirlpool.

Texas Home Appliance Service came to my house to assess my refrigerator, which was not cooling properly. The technician assessed the fridge, determined that the air damper and thermistor needed replacement. I was charged for the service appointment, but could not reach Texas Home Appliance Service for several weeks. They have done a terrible job at communicating with me and would not return my voicemails or emails. When the technician replaced the air damper and thermistor, the top panel was reinstalled incorrectly and the lights for the fridge and freezer no longer worked, and even though I sent pictures and videos of the problem, Texas Home Appliance Service was not responsive. Now I have called a different, more competent appliance repair service (Pro Tech) who came and assessed and confirmed that the top panel was indeed reinstalled incorrectly and that the air damper was also installed incorrectly by Texas Home Appliance Service. The fridge is now functioning well, no thanks to Texas Home Appliance Service. Texas Home Appliance Service ultimately did more damage than repair to my fridge. The whole ordeal has cost me a great amount of stress and money. At the very least, Texas Home Appliance Service should refund me the cost of labor that was charged, as their labor did not result in my fridge being fixed. I have attached that receipt.
