    Hi *****,

Thank you for letting us know your concerns and feedback.  In reviewing your account in detail, and the many conversations we have had with you, we would never want you to not be pleased with our service.  We do see you voluntarily contacted us and signed up for your Credit Repair.  We have also reviewed the call when you signed up since all calls are recorded for training purposes, and you mentioned you were told it's a 90-day full refund but that was not mentioned in that call at all since that is not something we have ever offered in the 21 years we have been in business (we would be happy to play that call for you if you'd like).  It sounds like you may have been looking into several companies and it's possible another company may offer that, but we do not and did not state we offered a full refund in your call when you signed up.  Our refund policy for all clients is listed on our website (***********************) and has not changed for several years.  As a monthly client you can continue as long as you'd like or cancel at any time.  As an additional courtesy, upon your cancellation requested yesterday, we also provided you a 1-month refund of $119 which means outside of that refund you only paid us for 1 month.  We see that you were able to login to your account to review your reports and scores (which we obtained for you), and we sent out disputes to all three bureaus on March 29th and May 3rd.  There are costs in doing our service, and we hope you understand it can't all be done for free.

Your account has been canceled as you requested (a confirmation email was sent to you for your records), there are no further charges, and the refund we issued to you yesterday can take the bank on average 3-5 business days to post that refund back to your card.  This is the best we can do for you at this time.

We wish you all the best in all you do moving forward!

    Best Regards,

    -The Credit People-

    Hi *******,

Thank you for letting us know your concerns.  We do care about our customers and do everything we can to assist their needs.  In reviewing your account, we have not received any request from you to cancel your services other than this complaint submitted online.  Our service is completely voluntary and can be canceled at any time, but we do need a call or email to know that is what you'd like to do in order to better assist you.  We also called and spoke to you today after seeing your concerns in this review to help better assist you.

You mentioned your card is no longer available to issue the refund, so the only option we have is to mail you a check for the one month you paid for of $99 (per our refund policy).  Please allow two weeks on average for that to arrive in the mail depending on your mail delivery.

Also, in an effort to help clarify your account, we generally do not have positive changes this quickly in the process and credit repair does take time and often several rounds of disputes.  To only give credit repair 1 month is not enough time to show you the results we know we can get our clients.

We are sorry to see you go but wish you all the best in all you do moving forward!

    Best Regards,

    The Credit People

I feel like I was mislead by them when they said they would be helping remove items with my credit report and that I can be "assured that you'll never pay for anything that you aren't happy with". I am not happy with the results, but they are only refunding me less than half of my cost.

    Hi *****,

We appreciate your feedback and letting us know your concerns.  We do care about our customers and do everything we can to assist them with both their concerns, and credit repair needs.  Through several email communications yesterday, we provided a copy of the call script when you signed up to confirm exactly what was said by our Representative, as well as offered to do a call with you to listen to the call recording when you signed up to review it together but that was declined.  Our refund policy for all monthly clients listed at the top of our website is you can continue as long as you'd like, or cancel at any time, and it's a 1-month refund.  Our service is completely voluntary and there is no contract amount of time you have to stay with us (you can cancel at any time).  In an additional effort to assist you as much as possible, we did refund you two monthly payments (which is 50% of the monthly payments you made us).  This is beyond our refund policy, but truly an effort to show you that we do care about our clients and their concerns.  Please allow your bank 3-5 business days to post this refund back to your card.  While your service was active with us, there was several rounds of disputes sent to the bureaus as well as several updated credit reports reviewed regularly to constantly monitor your credit.  We know you understand this all can't be done for free, and we have done everything we possibly can to work with you.

We are sorry to see you go, but we wish you all the best in all you do moving forward!

    Best Regards,

    The Credit People

I’ve a loyal customer for almost 2yrs now. i just found out today that CITI bank Credit Hard had been reporting not current in the closed account for 14 months which i was not away. since the people credit has been disputing negatives they should have let me know earlier that this is happening. that why my credit has not been improving. after a year there should be big improvement.

    Hi *****,

Thank you for letting us know your concerns.  Based on what you described, we can see how that would frustrate you.  We also left you a voicemail this morning to help explain your account and reports to be as helpful as possible.  Throughout our service, we have an online account available at all times for our clients so they can view each of the negative accounts listed on their reports, what accounts we are disputing, and what results we get along the way.  Our goal in this process is to get as many negative accounts removed as possible to help clear up inaccuracies on your reports and increase your scores.  The Citi account you mentioned is an account we have been disputing for you all along with several rounds of disputes (this account is listed on your online account).  Yes, this account is a factor in lowering your scores, but it is not the only factor in why your scores aren't higher.  In reviewing your reports, we do see that credit utilization is a factor (anytime you use 50% of the available credit limit or more on a credit card your scores drop), and also the remaining volume of negative account history.

The good news is, we were able to confirm 19 negative accounts removed, and that is a significant portion to have removed from your reports.  If those negative accounts were back on your reports, your scores would be lower than where they are now.  We can understand you'd want more improvement and higher scores, but it's important to keep in mind that credit reporting is not entirely within our control and does depend on the creditors, the bureaus, and the consumers decisions with their credit (such as if there are new inquiries, high credit utilization, etc).  We were able to make a positive impact in helping to clear up your reports, but we can understand your overall frustration with the Citi account.  We would be happy to review your account and reports with you if you'd like to return our voicemail we left today, or if you have any further questions, please always feel free to reach out.

    Thank you!

Date of Transaction : 3/20/23 Amount Paid : ***** They promised to dispute ALL negative items on all 3 of my credit reports. They did not do that...not only did they not dispute them all they disputed items not even on my credit reports and totally skipped over other items on my credit that needed disputes. This is not what I paid for nor what they sold me when joining AGAIN!!! This is the second time I've tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt and yet again the very same results! I will no longer let this company scam me. They don't even take the time to correctly verify wants on or off their customers credit report! I demand a full refund and membership ended immediately!

    ***************,

Thank you for letting us know your concerns, and we're sorry to hear you weren't pleased with our service.  We do care about our customers, and do everything we can to assist them.  We have reviewed your account, and based on your review there is definitely a misunderstanding so we would be happy to clarify.  We do see in total you were with us for one month only in June 2022, and then you just resigned up on 3/17 which was less than a week ago.  Credit repair does take time (we list on our website the average amount of time is about 6 months) and often several rounds of disputes to get the best results possible.

We do not dispute all of your negative accounts at the exact same time since that would raise a red flag with the bureaus that consumer just doesn't want anything on their reports and not that there is actual inaccuracies to investigate.  For that reason, we submit rounds of disputes and rotate the accounts we dispute in each round we send out.  Our goal in doing this is to get our clients the best results possible since we know the credit system is not fair to consumers.

You also mentioned we did not review an updated copy of your reports to see what is on your reports before disputing them but that is not actually true.  You restarted your account on 3/17 and we reviewed a new copy of all three of your reports on 3/21 (we can email that to you as well for your records).  We also reached out to you today and left a voicemail to help review your account and answer any additional questions you may have.

So even though we did review updated reports since you restarted on 3/17, and drafted new custom dispute letters and sent those out on 3/22, we have issued you a 1-month refund of $79 per our refund policy.  Please allow your bank on average 3-5 business days to post that refund back to your card.  We have also canceled your account as you requested so you will not be charged anything further.  We were sorry to see you go so soon, but we wish you all the best in all you do moving forward.

    Best Regards,
